Sorry Kidoo,I failed O level gobbledygook at school......What the bloody hell are you going on about ?
Dividends most likely you never will be able see from KOD,
Possible how share price in future might go up if KOD will be working on all current projects, and looking for new opportunities,
Just that's all is possibilities, no-one don't know what those shares will cost in same time next week or next year, or five years. fur sure somewhere between 0.001p and 100£
Just what's will be exact price still is question.....
Hi dicko.
Its not a dfs. More a pfs. Dfs is yet to be done. It will be needed for a FID (final investment decision).
The money earnt from any deal struck by kodal would be pumped into gold prospects or hopefully more li plays.
£25k shares would never lead to a £100k div. Ever.
You may see a couple grand a year on a divi basis. But thats many yearw to come and only if they ever decide to divi. Only a handful of majors do due to nature of mineral exploration. They can be flush to bust to bust in months.
Atb
Btw im not a darren. :)
I think it's what makes kod so exciting is that nobody knows ... could be 1p could be 10p if there's enough hype..we should start up a guess pool and he winner can have the bragging rights
Thank you for your kind words Darren
If you read my post , I state “think” about the dividends and went on to illustrate how the the large increase in current sales price , leads to an obscene amount of money left over per year
Likewise DFS pricing model only leaves £20m net surplus , based on sales price of c$640 pt
So net surplus varies dramatically based on sales price
As PI’s we are always last to know , but Bernie is agreed to take lots of shares ….
What’s he going to do with all these shares ?
It’ll be in his interest to divi out
Look forward to having this discussion with you in 2/3 years time
I'm happy sat on just shy of a 5 bagger ... I highly expect this to push past 0.5 on liecence and if a JV is sorted will rocket past 1p ... but also realise this could just as easy go belly up if the ducks don't line up ... my 4.6p target is calculated on rising demand perdition in line with EV demand production and ES demand ... which at current rate 3 to 4 years
Yes, that I can understand. The way dicko worded it though would make someone think that they can invest 25k and get 75% bonus for doing so...
Changing the subject, yay at kissing 0.40! Tomorrow could be an interesting one
Yes, the £25k investment would be worth £1.75m - £2.5m at £100k p.a. divi
Only established miners pay out divis, and they don't always - I know from experience of holding AAL, RIO, POLY, BHP etc
To be fair crumbles... if you invest £25k today and the company pays dividends in the future (once earning revenue) then I would hope your investment is worth a considerable amount more than £25k.
Agreed Daz, I mean I'm as dumb as they come when it comes to maths... But even I can see a 25k investment wouldn't return 100k a year.. That's an infinite money glitch there and it just wouldn't happen.
Like you said, a dividend hasn't been mentioned once, let alone a %
But... Correct me if I'm wrong and using 10% as an example.
If you invest £25k, and you got a 10% divi on that, once per year, you'd be getting £2.5k. Dividends always give back less than your initial investment... Or am I missing something?
Where on earth are you plucking those figures from dicko re dividends.
1. Company has never ever mentioned they would div.
2. You have no idea what % theyd pay out or price per share.
£100k per year divi each year. What a load of nonsense.
Think about the dividends , paid each year
249,000 t x ($2466-466)
Less 33% tax
x .73 exchange rate to GBP
£243m
That’s x4 current levels
So £25k invested would equal £100k divi each year
Get em in your ISA
*based on $2466 sales price per t
To be honest dan
I think ( and it attracted me here in the first place )
The license on its own should be enough
I weighed the pros/cons of the miltary situation in Mali and decided it was worth the risk
The Interwebs are full of information about KOD so I guess I would be happy with 0.5 pence :)
Kind Regards
The Jimster
That would be £750m marcap so we'd need;
(a) Licence and JV with a great partner soon - £120m mcap
(b) Lithium prices to x2 - x4 in next few years £240m mcap
(c) Production from 2022/23 £360m mcap
(d) Not too many new entrants into lithium mining in the next few years £360m mcap
(e) Re-investment strategy to strike a couple more commercial ventures... £750m mcap
It's fag packet but that's what is required to get to 4.6p. 4 years min.
When do you see us realistically hitting that sp?
When that golden ticket lands so many things will all follow ... I'm here for a longterm hold I will only sell any of my stock when we hit 4.6p - call me crazy but thats my exit target the only reason I will sell before then is if there is an agreed buy out , which I hope doesn't happen dont mind a good JV but wouldn't want to be brought out before potential is truly realised.
