Hi Epic, yes we had some good picks, and im confident KOD is tje next one, worth the wait, better to be a bit early to the party than too late. Fingers crossed for some news in the next few weeks to kick things off.
Fyi im not on Twitter anymore, got perma banned for sharing to much gov info re Digital ID and WEF scumbags, wont be going back on.
Guys take a look into glr... some serious potential there.
I'm also like Afritin, I'm in ATM, PREM, KEFI & KOD. hoping at least 2 come good ??
I bought into this yesterday after reading the potential it has. I have diversified between two: KOD and AfriTin (ATM), which i think has equal potential. Take a look at that one. Would appreciate thoughts: https://youtu.be/vUBOrsI1vAA
GLA
Merc, that’s amazing. Congratulations on that.
Yes I think the biggest drivers for added value here will be
- Increase in Li price
- Bougoni West
- Nielle gold (very excited abut this with my prev experience, grade/depth is superb)
Sure the economy is doing us no favours, but governments keep pushing their Digital/Green revolution and we just so happen to be positioned perfectly to capitalise on that.
Right place right time, Gla
I also think long term it could well reach 3p, Bougoni west hasn’t even been explored yet and we have exclusive rights to acquire, plus there could be upside with current project too. I think it might be a bit rocky getting there with recession cloud accumulating but I am in it for long term and like you mercman I’m holding until I see big gains.
Wow well done mate re GGP that’s an insane profit!!!
I retired at 35 off of my GGP gains (£7k to £350k) but alas thats not enough to get the family where we want to be for the next 35 years, but 250k of that is now here (@ 0.3p) so yes, 3p will do nicely ; )
Re this being a slow burner, yes it is, ive been accumulating since dec 21 so coming on 1 year and on paper im down 40k or so, but I sleep easy at night when I remember i was also in GGP at 1.5p initially and I sat at a loss for around 18 months until their JV came off and it went to the moon.
Its coming guys & gals, all we have to do is wait…… and not freak out when it gets to 0.6 or even 1p, just hold.
Go big or go home.
1p would be nearly 4x current price, so that would get you to between 19k and 20k.
Thinking of investing £5000 what would my return be if they reach 1p
Me and you both I would stick two fingers at them oh how smug I’d feel
Id quit my job tomorrow if someone offered 3p
is that for you to never have to work again merc? :P
Buyout has to be a minimum of 3p!
Stephen I agree, 500m would be a gift in the current market.
Based on 1000 dollars per tonne it is a fraction of market price and the additional acreage could hold more lithium than the original acreage a double gift if sold for 500m.
A sale price if it happened, in my opinion would be above this.
However a JV with construction costs included on their side could be near the NPV. Maybe 50% totalling 300m all in?
1p sounds attractive but I wouldn’t want us to sell out too cheaply before realising full potential :)
I dont mind the idea of a buyout. Yeah the total returns may be lower, but to get that money in the near future, no stress of timing any sales etc, wouldn't be a bad thing for me.
Got my eye on some new toys which require some funding too...
Yeah I was planning on holding long term but if someone said 1p now i would be anazed. I was thinking 1p in 3 to 5 years
I’d prefer it if Kodal did not get bought out. Happy to hold for 2/3 years.
The other question is - what could the SP be when the processing plant is up and running, if Kodal take a JV, or they pay any loans back In lithium like Prem? (Other finance options available of course)!
Thoughts???
Stephen11.
I have been picking a few takeover targets recently with TED and DARK getting offers this week. The offer for TED was way below what I was expecting but generally speaking the outlook for retail in the next 18 months looks pretty bleak. The good thing with KOD is that the running costs/staff numbers are low and they have a lithium mine with a NPV of over $550m. There could also be further uplift as they have a large area that hasn't been explored. This represents a great risk reward investment imho.
Would be happy with 1p, but also think it goes a bit higher than that. 1p would value the company at roughly £170m, i think value should be closer to £250m
The NPV of the lithium assets are over $550m. Surely a takeover offer has to be over 1p...
What buy out price would people be happy with if it happens before end of year.
Just for fun guys.
0.60?
Creaser you hit the nail on the head with if the money is right.
They have to take the offer which is best for shareholders - with lithium in short supply for the foreseeable it is ultra valuable, all the other current supplies are tied up - which makes this outcome so unpredictable.
If a cheque was big enough for the entire venture, this option completely removes risk then that offer would be taken, a cheque large enough for 50% takes 50% of the risk off the table and so on.
An interest free loan, penalty payments per tonne for not taking lithium and floating with the market price would release our greatest value, but all risk remains on the table.
Impossible to guess the outcome.
But a nice problem to have.
