When doing your research ask yourself are you comfortable with a reasonabley guaranteed return or do you speculate ? https://www.fool.co.uk/2024/04/10/up-60-since-february-can-the-kodal-minerals-share-price-keep-on-climbing/
Will be a crap Monday across the board now..sub .4 . Hopefully this won't drag the whole middle east/Russia/china etc in.sheesh.
With these mini peaks and valleys in KOD share price ?. Creating fluctuations i suppose is how they šš¦§ make their profits on trades both ways. So buy the dips methinks š¤. No advice given, just me. :o).
I thought this was an interesting article about a new extraction technique. SP for the company concerned surged 40% in two days.

Grabbed a few more.... even after i convinced myself not to as portfolio getting over balanced. 0.4 to good a chance not to
Horult, I agree with you, got what you are saying, yes the transfer is not the major piece of the jigsaw in my opinion either.
Institutions I can't see buying until we are in full DMS production, large ones not until flotation production.
I am expecting a few of the wealthy large investors to appear sometime between now and the plant turning for final checks.
I have been on a lot of shares and never thought to jot down when they arrive. Some of them speak on the chat boards, Oliver to name one. Unlikely that they will not have this one on their list. Some nice people amongst them.
I think we are at crossed wires a little Laverda. I have no doubt the licence transfer will affect the SP it almost certainly will, I expect institutions may not invest till that is all sorted out fully and all the boxes are ticked. However we have absolutely no idea when Mali will be in a position to start issuing/transferring them again.
What I was suggesting is that as we get closer and into production the SP will also be raising a lot ( I hope) but when is the transfer coming?
If the transfer does not come for another 12 month - and you are waiting for it before buying - you will have already missed out on a large rise. Ideally we would want the licence before production but there is no guarantee of this happening.
If you see what I mean.
In simple terms - buy now(ish) don't wait for the licenceš in my personal opinion
Just looking at the chart, I would expect the current price to rebound up to 0.50+.
Close at current price would represent a higher low, indicating that the SP rises next week to a higher high.
Caveat the above with I know nothing and the SP seems to do what it wants!
I think the licence transferring will affect the share price, just my view though so we should all benefit.
The licence transferring could open the door to potential outside buyout offers other than Hainan. Potentially also calm some people with regard to Mali.
We are in a 30 week countdown in my opinion and something along that path will trigger a stampede, quite which event with today's investor minds I am uncertain as often they defy logic.
Just waiting for the bottom of this current little downtrend before I top up, suspecting tuesday/wednesdayish unless news drops first
Yeah - but I am not waiting for the licence before buying more am I?
I'm already in so licence won't have any impact on meš
Horult, you mean our potential profits, you said you were on a free ride here.
You could be waiting a long time for that transfer to take place.
The licence will not stop the mine from being built nor production (thanks very much to Hainan)
It is certainly a possibility that we could be months into production before the licence gets transferred over. In my personal opinion waiting on the license could greatly reduce your potential profits.
Red tape. Mali have been reforming all their mining processes. They have not issued any new licenses since Nov 2022
Still waiting for the license transfer. Then Iāll put some more money in. Donāt know why itās taking so long. Maybe some of you guys can enlighten me?
Easily done Joe, doubt many expected it back here, but add if possible. Haven't used any isa allowance yet, as been keeping close eye, but can keep drifting for me. Price is crazy, but a gift as it currently stands.
The 20k is a buy
I'm so stupid I always get excited at news and buy more when the price is up. I've taken my average from 0.11 to 0.46 with all the various spikes over the past 3 years. Maybe it'll drift a bit more so I can get it back down a bit!
Drifting as expected. Canāt see much happening until middle Q3 when construction updates start coming in
PS, but answering your question properly, perfect case and with the benefit of hindsight, I wished he raised a little more cash in 2022 and continued only with Nielle because it was so close to a potential maiden resource.
If the figure was reasonable it would have raised Bernard's credibility as a CEO. And the offer may have been higher if in Nielle
Re gold. I am under the impression in Mali and everywhere else there is gold all equipment and contractors are working flat out.
With the likes of our lithium actually buying equipment for the contract - scary.
So Bernard may well have ordered drilling on Nielle and Fatou, but they may not be there before the dates he indicated, those sites would not warrant contractors buying new equipment. A few dud holes and time could be called on a site.
He is putting gear in.
I am not sure, because of the geology if he trusts anyone to work those sites without his input. So much past drilling data was incorrect.
Oneandonly, yes get it out of the ground or something like that. I think he said.
We would say get the work done below ground so we can work above ground in the rain.
Aussies are economical with words.
I know that Bougouni is a priority but does anyone else think that KOD should be drilling and proving up the gold reserves?
With gold at all time highs the KOD gold projects have to be worth something but they are valued at zero. It seems a real shame to me.
Thatās correct, if they get all the concrete laid.
DYOR & GLA
Miko, yes I agree regarding the rainy season, if Steve reports everything that they targeted to complete has been completed before the rainy season then that will be a big boost of confidence.
I got the impression from the interview that they are not stopping during the rainy season.
