Bcl I've been thinking roughly the same thing. Wondering what the additional shares are for apart from the warrants and other debts owed. I've been wondering whether there is a new investment by Kibo for which they intend to pay in shares perhaps? Pure speculation, of course. I guess if that was the case, the BoD couldn't announce anything until it happens so we will just have to grin and bare things until the EGM and beyond!?
I wish you well, LTH have been truely sharfted by management for many years.
The trust has gone.
Peeps should do their own research. Don't let others sway you to selling out on a loss. Some of the peeps on here are disgruntled lths. Make your own decisions. GLA. The price here is the lowest it can get to unless the company goes bust. This will not happen. DYOR
Kat up 9%
We need to know the company’s plans regarding shares before the EGM otherwise we are just being asked to approve the same as the last meeting but in stages. If the plan is still to consolidate 10:1 after raising authorised shares to 5 bn, the chances of anyone here, including new holders, to make any money are vastly reduced. I never understood why a consolidation and 5bn shares was needed before and still don’t as a consolidation on its own gives massive headroom. In fact I am inclined to believe it was an error. What are your plans Louis?
Not that i have many positive things to say regarding our CEO currently, however in his defence TAP, apart from the recent payment of shares in lieu of salary, Louis actually does have a significant amount of his own personal cash invested in Kibo at circa 35p/share, dating back to the early days. He did tell me how much but i can't recall, but it was in excess of a quarter of a million ÂŁ. So he does have a serious vested interest in the success of Kibo.
As for todays RNS, great news as it is, I can't see the markets recognising much of Kibos interest in Mast once it's floated on the main market. If you want any gains out of this then you will probably have to invest in Mast directly. I've made many very expensive mistakes where KIBO is concerned, and one was thinking that if i invested in Katoro when it listed that I would see value in both shares simultaneously. Many suggest that buying Kibo shares is a cheap way of buying Katoro, that is complete b o ll ocks. Did Kat rise today? no. I bought into Katoro the day it listed at circa 5p, look at it now, although I have been fortunate enough to have averaged down over the years and I'm now in a small profit. The moral of the story is that neither shares have attributed any shareholder value to each other and I don't see mast being any different, and I put that entirely down to the board of the companies who have a common denominator. I'd love to be proved wrong, seriously.
No confidence
Peeps selling out on a loss. DYOR.
thats why its called chinese whispers......LOL
nice to see Louis Coetzee (& related parties) 19 505 996 1.51% has skin in the game
cant recall (as been that long all this company waffle) but presume he only had paid salaries via shares when price low?!
but dont recall he had any for 1st phases when prices were higher
all an inside fixer......but LSE always swear innosense (aka silver/gold ..all in it together
taking a view of AIM miners et al of late since the covid plunge scam, most have proplled higher
thus even KIBO could finally rise
Not if you've depleted vast amounts of money on previous promised projects, non delivered and now short of cash. New traders can potentially make possible games. It's just if you believe in elsie's pipe dreams.
Lth holders in big bother. Short term big gains can be made. Dyor. Gla
Chinesewhispers,
Any chance you can share with us the “mathematics” you’ve done that will “see 1p very quickly here”.
If anything they have just confirmed that they are definitely diluting our holding in MED by listing Sloan on the main market. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it really isn’t anything ground breaking.
Still hold 9million, at the old prices ranging 5,6,7,8p. Still holding on the chance of a miracle. Yes, i could average down, but i'd rather spend the money on a pointless classroom in Africa than see a further depletion of the share price whilst averaging down.
Just one project would be a welcome sight. Just one.
My sympathies.Have you still got your holding? Sold any?
Bob,
Thanks for all your board messages about Kibo, but quite a few of us lth have seen, read and been disappointed with all the news that comes out of elsie's orifice. After being here for many many years and invested 100's of thousands of pounds and seen absolutely Fxxk all, I would not get to involved with this if I were you. This guy is a scoundrel and couldn't give a rats arse for you, me or any pi, just nature of the beast, and a nasty lying one at that. I learnt the long hard and expensive way. As you put it DYOR but take on board what people have experienced here for many years. Good luck to you and all.
Gradual buys coming in now. DYOR. GLA
Kibo other contracts
Alliance News) - Kibo Energy PLC signed a binding term sheet for the supply of approximately 200 megawatts of energy to Baobab Resources Ltd's Tete steel and vanadium project in Mozambique.
Baobab is to deal and negotiate exclusively with Kibo over entry into a power purchase agreement to supply the project, which is located 36 kilometres from Kibo's Benga power plant project.
Benga is a joint venture between Kibo and Termoelectrica de Benga SA and will consist of a thermal power plant with a minimum capacity of at least 350 megawatts plus renewable energy projects.
This includes a deal with Mozambican state-owned electric utility Electricidade de Mocambique that Kibo is still working towards.
Kibo Chief Executive Louis Coetzee said: "We are delighted to have secured this strategically important agreement with Baobab. The [Tete steel & vanadium] project represents one of Mozambique's key development projects that could contribute significantly to the growth of the country. We are therefore delighted that our Benga project will be supporting this growth by providing 100% of TSV project's [approximately 200 megawatt] energy requirements, subject to reaching final agreement on an appropriate [power purchase agreement].
"This PPA will be one of a number of supply agreements we are targeting for Benga, in line with our commitment to creating reliable, sustainable and affordable electricity in Mozambique and we look forward to providing further updates in due course as these agreements progress. It is envisaged that the c 200MW requirement of the TSV Project will be developed as part of the existing Benga power project, and talks are currently underway with our JV-partners in Benga, to determine whether the latest addition to the Benga portfolio will have any impact on the economic interest of each JV partner, given Kibo's added efforts in increasing the utilisation of Benga."
Many peeps selling out r4e buying here. Gla
Clearly many are not that educated to do the mathematics here and see the true value with this mornings RNS. Should see 1p very quickly here. Buy when idiots are selling and not seeing the huge potential.
