Thanks SB its not all about what harry says or does not say its what the conditions are on the ground in Saudi with the opening up of its mining sector, the country having the monetary resources and vision, the good relations kefi has with the Saudis and the competency of kefi s Geo team.
Hopefully the minority that “get” all that will grow.
I believe the drought is lessening and there is now substantial rainfall especially on the mountains. Part of the reason there is famine in the North is due to the war which has now ended. The Govt was slow to trust the Tigrayans and has still only recently allowed proper food aid into the North.
Oromia does have terrible food insecurity but if Harry is being open, this mine cannot start to be developed as the monsoons are relentless and it would not be economic to attempt any construction.
I am hoping the mine will help local people to make money so that they can create long lasting infrastructure within their agricultural business.
Rob
Thanks for sharing…. RF is absolutely on the money re commentary on the geopolitics, geology and opportunity emerging in Saudi.
I’m currently travelling through the Middle East, and only today discussed the reinvention of KSA and the transition from fossil fuels (as historic free money for the family business) to the mineral asset succession plan now being rolled out.
This is now purely about seeing who’s patient and “gets it” … if you are and do .. then there really is no need to be affected by much of the short term, uninformed, dumb guff that wafts here daily.
I
Do you reckon the Ethiopian residents in the rural districts are buying then. Even though their thoughts are where they are getting their next meal from. I take you are aware there is a famine out there. Or do I take it as a tongue in cheek comment?
Well SixZeros, the reason it is a very good price is because if you are a hard working Ethiopean resident living in the rural Oromia district, you could for a days wages buy around 600 shares in a gold mining company which you may or may not be able to work at and in the not too distant future.
If I was negative on the stock I wouldn't have bought in. Have you ever seen a company with so much upside that peeps are selling.
What are these chunky buys coming in. Still seeing sells and not too many buys. Wouldn't call 400k/500k chunky buys when we are supposed to be on the cusp.
sixnoughts overall negative on the stock DYOR , sell up pal you give yourself a heart attack ;o)
won`t be long and it be massive chucky buys coming thru ;o)
What's so good about the share price upshunt it's not gone up and not anytime soon. I thought the whole idea of investing is to make money... So show me the MONEY.
Tay there, I don't know where you get the idea of back tax issues. The company only looses money, so much they even managed to loose £204,000 on 2021 currency exchange deals on the Island of Cyprus.
All we are waiting for is Harry to woo a handful of high end investment companies to believe in the Tula Kapi project. With all the false starts and telling the world this is on a cusp, few actually believed there was a syndicate of investment; all that was until Harry managed to get a page of signatures on the latest umbrella agreement. It would be nice to have a copy of this agreement with the names of each syndicate member, but they haven't found it necessary to put a snap shot of it up on the website.
Very good share price if you have any spare cash to splash.
few chunky buys coming through....
Kingyiddo,
My suggestion to read RNS dt 18 & 21 Oct'21.
The project was held back due to security issues in Oct'21. I joined the share later in Nov'21. Reading the previous RNS i gathered there is Finance issues covering back Tax etc, still not rescheduled.
Extracts " These compliance requirements are set out as conditions of the Project mining licence and the consequential detailed work plans submitted from time to time - all are industry-standard requirements for any licencee, its contractors and its financiers."
What has been completed by HAA till date, among the above list ?
Has the umbrella signature dated i.e. July'22 or Dry scene 2022 ?
Next rns could JQ dropping or and update on progress in Ethiopia have some steps left before funds start dropping into an account in Ethiopia but new on kefi getting JQ licence areas could happen at any time.

Founder and Co-Chairman of the Canadian Ivanhoe Mines Company Robert Friedland, a renowned global expert in the mining sector, praised the steps taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to develop the investment environment for the mining sector, expecting that Saudi Arabia will, by the next decade, be a leading country in the mining sector alongside China.
He pointed out that the Arabian Shield region enjoys limitless mining capabilities, including lithium, copper, gold and other unexplored minerals, in addition to the region's low-cost energy, solid infrastructure, and proximity to global commercial markets.
He noted that in the coming years there will be a significant increase in the demand for copper, which is used in the electric car industry, and that copper supplies have become extremely important for generating the necessary electricity for the global economy, stressing that copper mining and the provision of its supplies is a national security issue and a fundamental factor in achieving our economic goals
Apologies if this has already been asked.
I have been holding for a couple of years now and was waiting for news surrounding funding. We signed off on the umbrella agreement, which I understand isn't as secure as cash in the bank, but surely is a commitment to fund. Yet the price seems to have remained remarkably low.
Is the next RNS we are waiting for a statement regarding the security of the mine? Or is it to be about the funds actually hitting the account?
If so, are either options imminent? Or are we looking at the end of the year? Or even 2023.
OR... am I just asking how long a piece of string is?
