Who will fund next lot of cash? ,Markets wont touch them I suspect? ,lets hope Bjornberg exercise's his 10p loan notes ?
Lol. Good old Con roy. He always thinks up a new buzzword every year to keep the "company" moving. This week it's "pink diamonds". All the colours of the rainbow. If there is a new buzzword, it usually means a new placing is right around the corner ;-)
Analysis of available data and reports suggests that these coloured stones could amount to as much as seven per cent of the diamond content of the Lahtojoki deposit and that perhaps three per cent could be pink diamonds.
When was it released about the SEVEN PERCENT PINK DIAMONDS?
I do not remember this from a previous RNS......................but then again there has been so much waffle from the board I'm sure they're more confused than any of us.
Morning Irish
Polished turd and its all our fault lol.
Hopefully Bjornberg will wake this sleeping dog up!!!
Morning hoops, not very exciting was it. Pink seems to be in fashion this year.
old news?
The Lahtojoki Diamond Deposit
Progress has continued to be made in relation to the assessment and permitting of the Lahtojoki diamond deposit, which the Company acquired in the Kaavi region of Eastern Finland, and which, if developed, will not only be the Company’s first diamond mine but the first diamond mine in Europe (outside Russia).
A particularly interesting feature of the Lahtojoki deposit is the presence of coloured stones and especially of pink diamonds. Analysis of available data and reports suggests that these coloured stones could amount to as much as seven per cent of the diamond content of the Lahtojoki deposit and that perhaps three per cent could be pink diamonds. Examination of the pink diamonds made available for inspection by the Company, together with photographs of diamonds from the deposit, indicates that these diamonds are of high quality.
The importance of the pink diamonds may be put into context when one considers that pink diamonds, although only accounting for less than five per cent of the world’s biggest diamond mine, Argyll in Western Australia, account for nearly fifty per cent of its revenue.
Progress in relation to mandatory regulatory matters under the Finnish mining laws continued to be made. In particular, the process in relation to agreeing compensation for landowners at Lahtojoki is now at an advanced stage.
Half year results tomorrow I guess.

Why have we not seen this in an RNS?
Nothing will get done here. Con roy has just dumped a £300k placing on CGNR, which will keep his £150k+ salary there topped up for a while, along with pension and £5k business flights to shows. He has made millions here and there, pumping and placing, for 2 decades. He is nearly 100yo and has no need to start a mine. He just keeps fleecing mug punters every year or two. KDR one year, CGNR the next. Legitimized by the "professor" title. A very smart guy.
Only the prof and the good lord himself !!!!!!:-)
Thanks for the link ,WISH THEY WOULD HURRY UP, Only been here 6plus years lol
Try https://www.gtk.fi/en/mining-maps/
TBF Finland has other priorities than diamonds, and GTK seem to be increasingly focussing on strategic and "battery" minerals. Lahtojoki is the only project listed, and after 20+ years without success things have probably moved on from the possibility of a "world class" diamond discovery in everyone's mind except RC's.
I imagine "fatigue" has set in, so although small, Lahtojoki is all there is for the moment, so in BoJo's words, just GET IT DONE.
The chance was there in 2019 but sadly not taken, so come on Messrs Anderson and Bjornberg, for everybody's sake put you money where your mouths are and pony up the £2-3M to get this started. Nobody else trusts management like you seem to.
Funny Thing. !!
Every time you access GTK site for diamond, Garnets, even gold past history or index.
No file found!!!
Very Odd almost if gtk and the hidden treasure of Finland have disappeared.
????
Lets take a look at timelines, excluding regulatory announcements and corporate business, just the actual work on the ground, the company's supposed day-to-day business (and excluding announcements of "intent" to do things, only the actual "doing" and results). It has been a busy two years given that this has been the entire newsflow in 835 days, but hey..."It has taken a long time, but major exploration does tend to take a long time." Conroy said. Well, it has now been 505 days since the company completed ANY work in Finland (24/9/18) apart from applying for a few extra licences.
