To be fair EVB on 7th Sept EMH also recd an RNS appointing an operations manager which included some blurb
As far as I know EMH more or less runs Cinovec
Whereas KDNC is an investment company with holdings in a few companies so couldn’t one expect more updates on how they are all performing and how that all contributes to the company as a whole?
I have also held shares in other kinds of companies but you can read/hear about them additionally in the general media -( I’m contemplating getting a case of beer in case of CO2 shortage)
We can agree to disagree on how many interviews is optimum but surely we agree that the SP is a lot less than you estimated it should be even before Amapa and that some input couldn’t hurt? (Unless you listen to Observer who seems to think silence is good)
And besides, I think that KM conducts a good interview.
I think your expectations are unrealistic Mike, I follow plenty of companies where you get an annual report, interim and two trading updates and that's it.
Look at EMH you get a quarterly report 30th July and nothing for two months, this is what I expect with most of the companies I follow. I am sure there will be plenty of news flow and PR when there is something to say.
Maybe KM so busy setting up the next hum-dinger of a once in a life-time, company changing / defining project
to add to the extensive pf that is currently named Cadence.. It's just he doesn't know when to release the masterplan
whether it will be immediately, imminently or as soon as.
I think you are both missing my point which is that the SP has dropped severely since the last podcast 2 months ago which deserves some form of commentary/communication from KM, IMO. If the SP had been stagnant or improving since the last podcast then fine. Continue as before until the next update.
Why would you think Kiran would be laying anything out starkly rather than simply stating our current position? And, as you bring up, he could talk about “the value of Sonora to us under various expansion plans” and Yangibana and the progress there and EMH and adding that discussions and negotiations at Amapa are ongoing. (If indeed they are.)
@Ivy. (hello!) Once the deal has gone through, I expect we would be able to charter for a longer period reducing costs. 1 year rates aren't great, but still... https://www.hellenicshippingnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Intermodal-Report-Week-37-2021.pdf
Lol @MBW: "That was brutal observer and not entirely even-handed" - better coming from me than @Kiran! If @Kiran were to lay it out as starkly as that in a podcast hitting sentiment @Bannor would never let him hear the end of it. Tell me for the 100th time @Bannor, what price did @Kiran think BCN might raise at given the number of shares they had issued? And what did they actually raise at? LoL. Just because we had worked it out beforehand, doesn't mean it's a good idea for it to be spelt out to others by the BoD eh!? Of course no harm (quite the opposite in fact) in doing so for good news - like the value of Sonora to us under various expansion plans ;-)
Even at present iron ore price/shipping costs could DEV forward sell stockpile, to limit agreed,
at a profit?
This would at least give further cash resources to continue rehabilitation of mine/port/railroad,
and maybe stimulate some action from bank creditors.
@Mike, I don't expect to hear anything until something comes out of the courts unless there are developments elsewhere.
You see? From 2-3% to 3-4% And it is only 08:26
Make that 3-4%... Spot still not in a good state though.
That was brutal observer and not entirely even-handed
I thought that we were waiting for 20/27% ownership of Amapa which would be determined by a signature which we were still waiting for - possibly a few other legalities, not to ship the entire stockpile.
Once we own Amapa and the stockpile presumably we can sell it/ship at our market price convenience?
An interview stating that negotiations are still underway and updates on our other investments, those which have carried our SP and us thus far, would suffice under the circumstances because the SP shows that silence isn’t helping. No harm in repeating with slight tweaks/updates just as there is no harm in you or EVBull repeating your calculations and projections, with tweaks where necessary.
BTW wasn’t any of the stockpile was forward-sold?
@MBW. You really want @Kiran to spell it out to you? 26th August: "This is because current shipping rates have increased dramatically (US$80-90 per tonne), which is reducing the profitability of shipping DEV's material. We believe that these rates should normalise over the medium term; therefore, the shipping of DEV's material will recommence at a later stage.".
Shipping costs have gone up since then, iron ore prices have fallen further from $150/t to $100/t. The stockpiles are currently worthless... And yet I post with a "Strong Buy" as I'm looking to the future. ;-) DCE futures up today for the first time in a while 2-3%
Generally happy to hear most of what is said about a company I have invested in - form a well-rounded view when hearing all sides. Additionally, I don’t know the chap but think that he is also a shareholder?
Whoever said it, I do not entirely agree (from my layman’s point of view)
The shareholders may be the ones willing/having to pay/sell for what the “market” ie shareholders are offering to buy or pay for shares so making a market price/SP
The management/directors are most certainly in charge of profiling a company to the market and doing the PR and arranging good PR for a company on behalf of the shareholders. It is an important part of their job. Not that of the shareholders.
They are also the ones in charge of making decisions for the direction/investments of the company which would determine the SP. Not the shareholders.
I think we are agreed on here that posts don’t do much either way for the SP (and rightly so) we are more here to share information and to exchange views. It seems that a few shareholders have emailed the company asking for more communication and the response is seemingly standardised (and rightly so), but 2 months since the last podcast interview when the SP has dropped from 28.5 to 18.25 is nothing which can be explained or understood by most genuine shareholders on here is not IMO acceptable comms from management under the circumstances.
The informative posters seemed to think that even without/before Amapa we should be in a better position but only those in charge know for sure.
Thanks for your response and your posts.
What tripe are you writing now?

"l need £1 .40 please, lol"
Currently 18.6p ouch
I wasn't aware @EV_Bull,
Just his claims to have made a packet off 'you lot' never stacked up with a £10K short on KDNC with the hope to buy in a 7p as posted in March 2021 and then he let slip COPL by posting on there and then deleting the post shortly afterwoods but it hadn't gone unoticed.

RE: What! Three words25 Mar 2021 10:48
Canada oh yes we’re my other share is suspended at the moment:)
I have no desire to see anyone lose money but to wish others bad fortune is beyond banter and then the relentless posts to attempt to undermine anything positive has obvious intentions.
Well it's going to take more than this to hold back the momentum and global attention on tackling climate change - a tall order for 70p by mid-November but it's my expectation that the world leaders are making the right sounds for the build up to COP26 to see even greater investment in EV's and storage as well as wind and solar. Even what's been announced in New York looks very positive and might help the SP in coming days - let's see!
I'm with you on our JV's being snapped up - they won't be this cheap for much longer with a continuation of the price increases already seem this year.
Joe Biden undoing some of the damage from the Trump legacy.
Just tidying up the filters!
Don’t forget he also lost a packet on MCLS @jimb2
