TJ - i have significantly averaged down here but still have many that owe me a lot !
Mr C – that’s fair comment and totally understood. We can all get trapped in shares, especially when you do not have sufficient funds to average down, that’s if you have the appetite to get in deeper. 7-8 years is a long (there are clearly a number of LTH’s in KDNC) time but, the good news is that you probably only have another 3 month wait maximum, to see the conclusions / potentially higher or lower SP in KDNC / EMH & KZG. Whatever happens, it’s always good to remember that there are lots of people out there at the moment that are far worse off than many of us. GLA TJ Mac
TJ - I AM gradually extracting myself from AIM in exactly the way you describe, but it takes time unless I were to take some losses. I see AIM as not terribly good risk/reward as it IS high risk and even when it pays off it takes so long (if you buy at the wrong time) it underperforms more well chosen funds and IT's. So in esscence the angst and aggro is not worthwhile really, BUT I DIDNT KNOW THIS 7 or 8 years ago...
Good point @tomcat. It's possible we might have official "claim" over some Amapa iron ore if that was used to secure our credit to them.
are you positive that we don’t own ‘any’ amapa iron ore... i’m not... what guarantees have dev provided to us as collateral for the loan we made them recently... to mobilise and start shipping of the stockpiles... where do those stand legally with the other credits...
@MBW hopefully iron ore! @Nick - we don't know, though given all the delays to date, I'd say it's likely we'll finalise when it sets sail - which IIRC is something @Kiran's mentioned previously.
Will the ore that’s leaving at the end of the month been sold at an agreed price already, price when it’s loaded or the price when it arrives with buyer?
More rises... NdPr had a tasty 3% rise. Iron ore 65% spot very close to breaking $200/t, with futures continuing to rise instead. Shame we don't own any iron ore. Oh wait a minute, we do. LoL. Down under... ;-)
@Mr C, you come across as being hard done by quite a lot of the time. I am intrigued as to why someone with a large valued portfolio (as I remember you saying once) would need to be invested in any AIM listed shares at all. Surely AIM shares are deemed as high risk to start with and as a consequence, no one could possibly hope for all of their aim investments to be a success. You could sell and re-invest back into Baillie Gifford Global Disc… a lot less hassle / anxiety. Ps. EMH - well done, time to top slice again? GL TJ Mac
Also, doing beautifully with EMH -- have overall 2.5 bagged so far !
ok Degsie, I am willing to be a bit more 'considered' but the circumstances of this share do get under ones skin !
...must be one of the top most consistent performing AIM Shares over the last 12 months:)
Mr C . I agree that there is a lot of waffle which is sometimes amusing but your posts are always negative. It's as ifd you don't want to see share price improve.
A year ago you would have been in a much worse position mr c.
degsie - yes I absolutely am thanks to the tune of about £36k with an overall ave of about 35p now with some units in significant profit -- I just have a clinical aversion to constant pointless waffle about something that should have happened a year ago !
Mr C. Are you really a shareholder?
Perhaps @tomcat, but futures rose more than present, so perhaps not!
Fe 62% futures are now greater than $100/t out to May 2023 :-)))
