@Maddog - Well done on aiding @MyLastQuid. Thank you @maddog and @Mylastquid. :)
@maddog - Is that where your mystic ball is?
what do you mean... like news that the banks appeal has been removed... suspension has been lifted... and all amapa operations are now resumed...
Lol Obs, after watching this Amapa project so intensely for so Iong I doubt whether any of us will be able to ‘stfu’now. A few renditions of ‘We are sailing’ might not go amiss either ;)
The news has certainly upped my de-risk point a few pennies into the low 20's on the current status quo - post more (good!) news and this'll no doubt rise, meaning I'll be buying more strongly when I can at these prices in the following week or two pre-news ;-) I wonder if we'll hear before we get to 20% or after we get to 20% that we are considering shipping 70kt at a time, up from 45kt, substantially reducing shipping costs? I also wonder if we could reduce the time to ship all the ore, or is the bottleneck elsewhere? e.g. in private dock to public dock transportation? I also wonder if I should stfu until I've followed through? LoL! ;-)
@OB: It was thanks to md: for sending me down that route..
great photo of auntie dowis... she did seem to be big for her quota... now we know why... ;)
is this her ob... exhaust.worthwhile.deferring... :)
Wow @MLQ. Great news, and much sooner than I was expecting based on what we'd researched previously! Presumably this means we'll almost certainly be rehabilitating our private port with Panamax capabilities in mind? :-))))

mlq/ they have reduced the costs of shipping & yes they can now port 1&2 they have been changing they port to accommodate more ship traffic , keep your eye on the Caribbean line they do ship ore,
Question... Does the port have the capabilities to load two ships at the same time??

Don't know, but the big blue pile to the North West has definitely shrunk.
it’s an updated image... jacked up port on it’s side in our dock... ;)
Anyone remember if this ship was in port when I first shared the what 3 words link, or have they (google) updated their images recently?

To celebrate confirmation that pier two can also cater for handymax sized vessels of up to 220m I thought I'd do a port watching update ;-)
