@MLQ. Do you know if that ship has form for iron ore or trips to China? Could be local to Brazil only? @tomcat seemed to think he knew where it was destined, not Santana, presumably from his vast port watching experience. LoL.
@FH.. No not docked.. HB TUCUNARE has been pacing up and down outside the birthing pool for a while now, just like an expectant father..
It's listed as a 44GT Ore boat.... Nothing on any of the port arriving sites thou...
Birthing pool empty... Baby MV Sider Venture flown the nest....
Mummy HB TUCUNARE waiting in the holding area...
prospective parents eh....
HB TUCUNARE Bulk Carrier... One to watch maybe... bound for PTR-BR..??
HB TUCUNARE (IMO: 9555797) is a Ore Carrier that was built in 2015 (5 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of Brazil. It's carrying capacity is 82834 t DWT and her current draught is reported to be 11.6 meters. Her length overall (LOA) is 245 meters and her width is 40 meters.

i’m hoping we’re holding out for the settlement with the secured bank creditors... before we do start shipping the stockpiles...
Indeed @tomcat. Tense times! News imminent and has been for some time. With each passing day does the news become more or less imminent? LoL. We know we've made an offer and they have made a counteroffer - will other news come before this is resolved? All seems a bit call my bluff if you ask me. I suspect without the court's authorisation for DEV to ship net $10m we wouldn't have seen their counteroffer, so if a deal is struck on the back of this authorisation without a single tonne being shipped it's served its purpose! No ship in the next week probably means a deal is imminent IMHO. What's your take?
which means... room for 2...
isb/ that's a copy of my post 2months ago plus lol, well we are nearly at the top of the pyramid there only 2 way to go sink in sand or have a erection get the Viagra out lol
Why push to ship any ore when we own a big fat 0% of it? Also have we had an RNS to say we have a contract with someone to sell it to? Perhaps that's why it's not being shipped because we have no customer for it. That is one of the multiple things we are waiting for;
i) Agreement with the banks and hence 20% share
ii) A contract to sell the stockpile to
iii) A date of when the ore is to be shipped and by whom (I'd rather have it confirmed than guessing boats arriving into the dock - none of which are anything to do with us otherwise they would have announced it via an RNS)
iv) A date for the scoping study to be released (that thing they raised money for about 8 weeks ago or was that money raised just to pay their salaries for a bit longer)
The silence means nothing is moving forward otherwise they would tell us in an RNS.
6 trades gone through within a minute for 465£ each , bit weird
Indeed @Barksy. There appears to be a 10 day gap on pier 1 (used for the large cargo ships) after which it becomes fairly chocka until early September. I've no idea why we wouldn't be using this 10 day period to ship our first batch of iron ore from the stockpiles, since the courts have given us permission and communications from the BoD have previously suggested early Q3. Personally I think whatever the reason is, it's newsworthy and we should be kept abreast of the situation via an RNS. The only reasonable exception to this in my book would be if substantial news trumping this was imminent - which it may very well be with regards to negotiations with the banking union. Fingers crossed it's good news! :-)
:) not yet... getting a bit fed up now with this boating lark though ....and the silence is deafening
Anyone's in particular ?
Ah right thank you , not quite time yet , I’ll go and slam a few more balls to pass the time :(
It's the one cargo ship @tomcat mentioned. Carrying wheat I think. It's relatively small. SIDER VENTURE.
Obs, I’ve been awol playing tennis and gardening trying not to get too excited about ‘when our boat comes in ‘ so I’m not sure about the names of boats ships dinghy etc. Is a sider a another type of vessel . Sorry for not paying attention but it’s been doing my head in ;)
Sider docked in pier 2, which means...
How did you determine it is Trombetas? I can only see PTR-BR, which presumably means a port in Brazil (PTR being Port Terminal Railway)
doris eta conflicts with one of cianport’s booking... but does seem oversized for a 30kt soya load... maybe collecting the previous weeks 20kt corn at the same time... which free’s up our slot again for the 20th... :)
trombetas... the other pencil is docked there already...
Good spot @tomcat. Also shows ships can just turn up with little notice. Any idea where HB TUCUNARE is going?
Doris is on her way. She's big. Maybe too big...?

sider has arrived at the anchorage... waiting to dock... which discounts speculation that the port is locked down... or closed for the santana summer holidays...

A different resource
An update from the BoD is certainly overdue in my opinion @Ivy! This could indicate a conclusion of sorts is imminent.
