As I said my comment is based on below tweet & a hope they would use vessels no larger than required for the load ...... what I don't know for certain (perhaps you do) is which vessels picked up DEV's ore & which were in the name of DEV for someone else's ore where DEV have been contracted to do so... as I said if the load is in excess of 50kt it won't be a (unmodified if you like!) handymax:

The term Supramax and Handymax are often used in close relation, but both have key differences. The Handymax class constitutes vessels of tonnage 35,000 to 50,000 DWT, while the Supramax class ranges from 50,000 to 60,000 DWT.

Thanks for the input @Bannor. I had a feeling it was more about the DWT than cargo alone. Looking at the DWT of e.g. OSIOS DAVID of 55kt and the length overall it does feel to me that it falls into the Supramax category more than the handysize one. Just my opinion of course, not that it matter much, just curious.
Those weights include cargo, water, fuel, food, crew etc etc .... but from memory I would say more likely Handymax from the cargo weights of DEV's ore I think they've loaded .....
Handymax carries up to 50kt
Supramax carries up to 60kt
Think we've shipped between 40kt&50kt per vessel of 'Dev's' Ore so would've thought Handymax ..... if we've shipped between 50kt & 60kt it would have to be Supramax (or larger) as it would be overweight for a Handymax .... not sure what weights we've been loading for 'other parties' as a contractor....

The way DEV are shipping ore, isnt it rather like agreeing to pay £x for a farm and all livestock/implements, then when making the payment you find half the cows and some of the tractors gone ?

Today on the 04/09th, the Santana Docks Company in the State of Amapá receives on pier 02 the Warnowborg ship of the German Flag bringing in its submarines 900 km of underwater optical fiber cables that will make the first phase of interlocking the Amazon from Bethlehem to Tabatinga Operation Ship to Barge from the ship to Balsa Prates is underway with a 10-day cable overpass expected. The Maritime Agency and Port Operation is the responsibility of the Serveporto Group.

Mandarin Dalian ship receives authorization to dock at the Port of Santana..
he Government of Amapá and the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) released the foreign ship Mandarim Dalian that is anchored in the Amazon River, in front of Macapá.
To release the ship, all health safety protocols provided for in a technical note from the Ministry of Health were complied with and the decision was taken jointly by all the bodies involved.
A new test of the crew was carried out by the team from the Superintendence of Health Surveillance (SVS) noting that no crew member carries the virus anymore, so there is no risk of transmission.
The vessel has been in Amapá since August 5th.
