Did CB actually say that there wouldn't be a placing? As I recall, he mumbled away about the project just needing a bloke with a shovel to dig the stuff up and JLP will do the rest, then he mumbled incoherently about needing a bit of working capital, but I don't recall him actually saying there will be no placing.
MH & TC - I just don't want CB to come knocking on JLP's door when they need cash.

Good morning Positive. I get your concerns but I really can't see Leon be swayed by CB. We can't be certain of course but JLP very much appears to be 'Leon's show' and that's the way it should stay
MH & TC - I just don't want CB to come knocking on JLP's door when they need cash. Or for JLP to prepay for the Zinc. We don't need CB to be the new Alex Borelli. Costs have always been undestated in Zambia :(

I agree MH - Makes TW as bad or worse than CB for misleading his readers. Still, if they use the money for Star Zinc only, all good. If they start wasting it on projects going nowhere or stretching too thinly there will be another raise shortly.
I’d be surprised if TW is gullible enough to believe an AIM company with low cash, no revenue and lots of costs coming up wouldn’t need to do a placing. It’s how it works, we’ve been through it here, we wouldn’t have the revenue and growth we’ve now got without the previous placings.
The issue between CB and TW re Galileo placing was not the placing itself. It was the fact that the placing was not available to existing shareholders and other PIs as well. TW has campaigned for some time about loyal existing PI shareholders not only being shafted by heavily discounted placings to bucket shops, whose inside connections probably pre sale, but also PIs being excluded from them. Primary Bid now provides a cheap method of enabling PIs to take place in a discounted placing. TW had written to CB and a large number of other Chief Executives about this, and if CB does not adhere to this approach in future, he will no longer feature any of his companies on *************.
Actually wondering whether this is starting it’s long overdue rerate to north of 4p?
Cheers If-Only. If your average here is 4p you will be fine.
Best
Thanks TC, I'll take a look. I'm not far off break even with JLP average just under 4p so hopefully be back in profit soon.
Stay safe!
If-Ionly, if you were in BMR - Sorry for your loses but JLP is doing fine though (thanks to Leon Coetzer). Not JLP's fault that the macro's took a dive. 2021 is more likely to be their year though, once things really start going.
For anyone who wants a bit on the side, so to speak, you could do worse than a few TEK shares but as always DYOR. However, Micro Cap, Tech, Recent Raise, low cost business model and lots of fingers in pies, a PE of 2 and a magnificent chart and no guarantees from me.
Yeah, I agree he could have burned his boats. I've been around since the Braemore days but have never really trusted what CB says. Too often he has said one thing and done the complete opposite. I had hoped, by now that the SP would be much higher, as it should be, but hopefully this rise will have some way to go. I should probably traded a bit since the opportunities have been there - could have done very well if I had got the timing right. C'rest La Vie

Yeah I may be wrong, I thought I read that with regard to a pod cast on the GLR BB but I don't subscribe. Not sure if they're friends anymore. CB looks like he basically used TW to help him getting a better placing on GLR in spite of telling him that a raise would be unnecessary. With friends like that..............................................
Don't think it was a chance meeting. I'm sure that I read an article a year of so ago where TW referred to CB as a friend!
Looking good here.
Time will tell as to whether it's bulling up because there is good news in the offing or it's a few speculators seconding guessing TW will be tipping a 4th CB company in a row (lazy research or what. 3 weeks of tips off the back of a chance meeting). We will know by Friday :)
