So at the last RNS Quantock had 4.2% of JLPs shareholding equating to just over 94 million shares.
Now I don't know this for sure but I think they are still selling and any price is profit for them as they bought at 2 pence.
This is the real bummer because if they carry on dumping a large number of shares 100,000 + at a time at the rate they are dumping and they intend to close their JLP position completely, then we could be in almost permanent decline for the next 70 days or so.
I reckon, Leon will be up in Zambia at the moment, giving it max to make sure that the team are all pulling out all the stops to deliver the targeted copper production at Roan and Sable.
Dorian, fully expecting a Q1 update this week providing PGM production. At latest next Tuesday!
I do believe that lack of news is effecting the share price and Leon's failure to reply to my email is worrying. While I have little doubt that we will all be rewarded with a far better share all the market knows at present is that WH Ireland to not expect a great half year if their brokers note is to be believed
Great riposte Jonah. Jubes is fit strong and preparing for a marathon swim, with lots of nautical miles to be added to the share price. Massive change on the ground and in the shareholding is taking or taken place. This quarter is setting some solid foundations- just need to let them play out. News is coming, if in doubt watch Leonâs latest webcast.
I believe that institution is still selling to be honest, still 100 and 150 thousand groups shares being traded near the bid all day long every day.
Hi Jonah - At the moment, I just look at the 1 week chart and it puts things into re assures my belief. Knowing a large instituion offloaded at least 40 million shares and you have that kind of trend puts things into perspective for me.
GLA and DYOR
Hi George. Yes we are waiting for news, but certainly could not be further from 'dead in the water'. Try clicking on 'charts' and then '1 year'. Always makes me feel better!
Although Roan is not too far from Kabwe, I had not appreciated that the road can (and clearly does) sometimes become impassable in the rainy season. Should be back on track soon, though I suspect the initial copper feed will be little more than just screened, so we will need to be patient. I suspect the major ramp up will be at the back end of Q3.
JLP seems to be almost âdead in the waterâ at the moment. Not sure when we will get news to move us in the positive direction we need.
true - PE would halve if share price didnt move. I was badly expressing the opportunity for PE to easily double with a greater share price on the back of larger and longer term earnings.
Sorry Arry not Arty
Arty, presumably you mean doubles the profit and halves the PE ratio.
Based on the earnings increase from higher metals prices across the board itâs highly likely theyâll double earnings a lot earlier than three years!
In brief there is a plan to add 25000 tonnes of copper of the bottom line over the next 3 years which effectively doubles the PE ratio. Not currently in the share price so a fairly safe double bagger over that time period.
ES on Stockopedia did say fill your boots if it hits 17p. Does a UT trade count?
@lezzils
The Jubilee website has presentations that LC has provided.
Watching the last few, will give you a feel for the company.
Then there are the RNS's in recent times to read through too - after watching the presentations.
After that you will be as informed as most. However, you are not too late for the growth to the SP that will follow in the fullness of time.
IMO ATB Shorn
I think you just answered your own question!
I have no investment in Jubilee at the moment.I have noticed though that is a major investment by some uk smaller funds Am I missing something?
