Thanks Jack, appreciate you taking some time to reply to me, and makes interesting reading.
See Heroric, if you ask a question like I did you get interesting answers that are thought provoking.
Concur about Jubilee's position right now btw...as soon as we get news that Roan is up and at nameplace capacity then I think we're off to the races for the next 2 years.
Wise words Jack D
Cheers

Ardbeggar
Known as greatest investor of all time Warren Buffet invested in 3 shares and like me he called diversification a cop out as you are hedging your bet in case a share (or a number of shares )don't perform.
I do my homework talk to the CEO and make a decision. With Jubilee their was not a lot to dislike. I liked the start up industry they were in,(I was always bullish on metals) I trusted Leon, and decided to invest for the future. My greatest hope is that the investment will help my children and grand children and make their life a little bit easier than mine.
Jubilee was an initial disappointment but the latest moves made by Leon have in my opinion been great.
I have chosen to swim against the tide of diversification although after the initial shock I do believe there is place for diversification and I intend to diversify into a few more shares when the time is right.
@shareswotter, Kalan was quite upfront about this. Kept the bulk for grandkids. Do try to keep up laddie. X
Oh hey, Heroric who can't spell Heroic is back and being a complete imbecile again. I thought you weren't responding to any of my posts ever again? Well that lasted a day, well done!
Casting personal aspersions left, right, and centre again I see....you really need to leave it.
I'm asking because I find it interesting mate....personally I think Jubilee is relatively high risk and operating in a geography where a lot can happen, both politically and operationally, so I keep it to around the 6% of my portfolio regardless of how big I think it could get in 2-5 years from now. By doing that I'm limiting the gain as well as any possible loss, it's cautious investing from me, looks like shatnersbassoon is the same as me and has been burned like me, as well as liking Chris Morris's comedy.
There are some chaps with 40% of their holding in it, that takes belief, and it's interesting to see that. Frogkid is a long term holder and making clear his portfolio % shows he's a huge believer in JLP. I'm never going to think he's deramping or anything like that no matter what he says because I know how commited he obviously is to the share. It helps me understand sentiment, some of the people on here, risk appetite, and it's a generally fun thing to talk about. I can also see that LUFC111 is defintiely insane for instance, nevermind for supporting that football team :D
I think Dorfan said 80%?? As he's a former CFO I find that very out of the ordinary to have such a concentrated amount in this one share.....what happened to diversification Jack?
See this sparks conversation too, Jack might tell me something I didn't know and I learn something new.
Also to answer your question seeing as you've been desperately researching my profile, yes this is the only board I post on/have ever posted on. I only started this account to bring Bushy to justice. Now he's gone I generally just use it to correct misstatements and lies which is why you fell out with me. Why this board? There's generally some very good info on this board as well as lively debate. I have looked at others for other shares I'm in but they either don't have knowledgeable individuals or there is too little chat to bother with it.
Happy now I've explained?

A pretty comprehensive update of all that is going on.....
Kalan, I for one appreciate your input - by definition we are all traders. I also am out now and keeping an eye open for a pull back poss re entry. Nothing to be shamed of/
There are some dubious motives on here - why is ardbegger asking what everyones holding /stake is ? non of their business is my reply. Also claiming just a 6% JLP stake yet every single one of this profiles posts are only on JLP board - very odd. Perhaps this only one of many profiles by the same person whic is even more dodgy
Hi Gotreal
I see the platinum price is moving up nicely maybe due to the article you posted. Everything is looking so good but I just hope we will get a better South African government as they have been the main cause of a BAD JSE.
Almost all shares on the JSE are at all time lows.In fact of all the shares on my watch list ONLY Jubilee has gone up.
In the last 2 weeks they have risen 50%. I suppose I am lucky as the JBL make up 80% of my portfolio.
I have sold for personal reasons if that's ok. I like to track my investments daily - managed to check in today but most days I can't so I'd rather not own any at the moment. I only hold JSE which has been suspended for a couple of months until this morning at 10.30. Hoping to be back in in a couple of weeks.
I sometimes trade a portion but because the spread is normally so high I don't see this as a share for regular traders.
Hi Kalan,
I thought you said you were not a trader and you got upset at people accusing you of deramping comments etc. You have clearly admitted that you have 0% so must have sold the holding you previously said you had.
Its no wonder you get the criticisms you get. Trading is ok but at least be open and truthful with it giving reasons/ opinions and not invented deramping facts,
27% for me . Jubilee is my favourite and most successful investment ever. Been here 4 years this week. Bought and sold well to date more than covered my losses in HUR DEC & TERN. Onwards and upwards from here.
5%. I’ve had my fingers burnt on a couple of aim shares so just want enough to exposure to some big upside potential without losing my shirt. I try to keep at least 50% in S&P/world tracker/ safe dividend payers.
0% at the moment.
Was 80% and will be again when I have time to monitor share prices.
I have around 4m shares.. it represents 99% of my stock holding..I was tempted to sell one of my rental properties and put all funds into here too.. so you can see I'm very confident
Thanks all who have responded so far.....come on guys, more responses please, what % is Jubilee of your overall stock portfolio? Obviously no obligation to answer I just find it interesting.
Hydrogen looks like a potential solution to the perceived need to remove petrol and diesel cars. Electric cars just aren't fit for purpose for at least 50% of motorists. Having said that an investment in Hydrogen technology fund would have lost you a lot of money over the past year or two. For now copper looks like the all around bet whilst the politicians mess things around and the public vote with their wallets.

"The United Arab Emirates, which is targeting a 25% global market share of low-carbon hydrogen by 2030, is joining forces with Germany, the Forbes magazine article stated, to expand its hydrogen portfolio.
Japan, it added, is converting fossil-fired plants into hydrogen-based plants and South Korea is setting aside tens of billions of dollars to expand its hydrogen infrastructure and build a fuel cell base.
The European Union is fast-tracking 65 hydrogen projects after signing an energy infrastructure list into law, Hydrogen Insight reports.
Australian company Fortescue has opened an electrolyser manufacturing facility in Gladstone, Queensland, that has an automated assembly line, the World Platinum Investment Council reports."
Worth a read in full ......
Hopefully the quarterly report may be early again. Neal Reynolds timing so far has been immaculate. Earlier than expected every time! Scheduled end of April / early May.
Patience is a virtue
Was on the money before the luck of the Irish
I think the Sunday Roast guys will be visiting Jubilee’s operations toward the end of this month, in the 31st March podcast they mentioned about 4 weeks before they were due to head to South Africa and then Zambia. Hopefully there will be more news before that happens.
Definitely Seis, worst kept secret ever! We’ve spent 5 years waiting for this time! Originally thought it would be tailings first. But understandably rocks first. After what seemed an endless void over the last few years, i feel the pace of development now, cannot be over exagerrated.
I watched a video of President HH officiating at the unveiling of a new solar energy plant in Kitwe yesterday. He again mentioned Chambishi Metals becoming active again. I get the feeling we will hear news on that sooner rather than later.
Jubilee is entering a different phase now Frog. Their achievement is no longer a pilot run, a laboratory test or a theory. Its now a commercial plant eating what was considered un digestible and spewing out copper. No wonder they want to show it off and no wonder the industry wants to have a look.
