>>>>>>Gas just gone over $6 again... wonder if it will hit $20 like it did back in 2005?<<<<<
Are you for real? OR serious?
If I convert to your $6.28 for a MMBTU
The natural gas price is Europe/UK $29 .
And in Ukraine it is even higher

Someone is building up , the sell are the short holders for 5% mark up to 15%.
Always thought was risky as someday you can be caught with a massive drop due to a RNS.
Im more long term and up 135% , still low rated so two key points news of well and Jan operation update
Gas just gone over $6 again... wonder if it will hit $20 like it did back in 2005?
Yeah but the other end is bits and pieces ,meaningless its the big buys you should be looking at imo
“Anyone notice the £41000 buy yesterday late on and now NT to buy £8000 someone collecting imo”
Yeah and people on the other end selling £41k. Meaningless.
Anyone notice the £41000 buy yesterday late on and now NT to buy £8000 someone collecting imo
Usually goes up in the afternoon, lets see
Looks as if we have a few here doing the same ,shame about the sp moving up strongly doing about turn.Wouldnt surprise me if this hit 50p very soon!!!
“Opportunities like this do not appear very often”
What arriving late to the party after the share price has more then doubled? Hoping to jump on a potential second leg up when the initial driving force is already priced in?
That does appear often, most months in fact.
It is set aside read the rns,s for heavens sake these people!!!
Another week gone by with over 2% of market cap in FCF built. The same will happen again this week.
No brainer.Cash generative like never before, with huge amount of cash and getting bigger, opportunities like this do not appear very often.
Profit taking taking longer than expected after results just a matter of time before it turns imo rapidly

‘’They already have $51.5m of their market cap already in net cash, no debt! At today's prices it'll certainly be above $80m net by the end of this quarter. I'd say a very big opportunity is emerging’’
Beware of the sharks lol. Entertaining though seeing them ramp and deramp!
Obviously didn't worry before then
jkx are still waiting for the 12m they are owed nice try though lol
should tick up today, gas prices up again
Should get a update on well soon
I can see imo the sp creeping up again in anticipation of spectacular results for the next quarter not forgetting the drilling results which could be a game changer,we shall have to see where that goes.In the meantime we have the Russian assets to be sold but i don't know how Russia sees that in the big scheme of things. With that a mount of cash I am sure they have their eyes on another asset, again its wait and see gla
Always depends on your time horizon, this share based on gas price I think will do very well into 2023 onwards, either get bought or buying others as gas is going to be in such high demand. Wait this one out, bought several £s in profit making commodity stocks, two already offering divi and so much worry in this sector. Any lull in prices will be short lived, in 2020s onwards we will see very high prices, manganese and then aluminium are the latest ones
No, I’m not, I sold at 48p after buying in at 17p in 2020. Years previously I have bought JKX at mid teens and sold at 30s.
JKX has a tendency to go off the radar with small investors and the SP just shrinks away regardless of its solid financial and cash generative position. Will be watching closely to see if this can drop back into the 20s and I can put my winnings back in. An unlikely event considering the very high gas price and the string tail winds behind that price. But who knows, an opportunity for fourth doubling of my money might become available, JKX has been the most predictable share for me over the years.
You make some valid points G with due respect are you still invested
“Higher possible with new wells on-going converting C2 to P2, on-going asset sales and whatever corporate actions the swelling cash provoke”
Agreed. Well success + successful asset sales + new strategy focusing on Ukraine + resolution of legal disputes + sustained high gas prices = possible move into the 60s - 70s. I can very well see that.
However, many people who are late to the party are just shouting gas prices and cash generation. Much of that is already priced in to the SP. Gas prices are not the reason to buy in now, they were the reason to buy in when the SP was sub 20 - a cash generative business with very fine gas assets in a lowish gas price period brought down by an unconnected global pandemic. A great value buy.
To buy in at this price you must believe that the company can capitalise on current gas prices by making a lot smart moves and some doing some great negotiation. Then hope for some luck at the drill bit. Nothing wrong with that belief, but there has to be a realisation of that being the compelling story.
5 dollar is 3 dollar, but point is that that cash exceeds sales
I have a spreadsheet which is accurate to professional valuations 50% of time.. Not sure the JKX is accurate but I expect year end sales to be 79m and given that its all driven by sell price ( I did allow for low Russian sales value), COS doesn't change but profit increases almost with difference of selling price. ie., your making 1 dollar at 2 dollar sell price so if sell price goes to 4 dollar, sales double BUT PROFIT goes to 5 dollar....... This is JKX and if I convert their profit to assets and NAV this is a 103p share
