Rain drops keep falling on my head.
Update was already issued on 7 Sept ahead of AGM, HY results is the next update due 23 Nov.
Some hefty buys plus many new investors will be getting in for a great dividend opportunity with results update due 30 September
Todays Tui update says it all to me. The holiday/travel sector is well in recovery mode. Sit back and relax and enjoy the flight. This and all the other travel shares are now well over sold.
Just not Cricket!
I assume it's to do with the price of oil (Brent crude $92.31).
- BUT do you really think the oil price wlll stay in the '90's????
I don't.
Anyway most airlines hedge 60% of their fuel costs and that won't be above the low '80's IMHO.
JET2 is a buy as far as I am concerned.
All IMHO.
Including that from On The Beach (OTB) this am.
Likely positive by close of play IMHO.
OTB up 11.5% now. JET2 down 0.8%......... gained a lot yesterday....... I expect it to rise shortly on the back of OTB.
All IMHO.
I am sure.
All IMHO.
That's the beauty of this share - you can make a tidy profit trading Jet2.
I presume? What a joke it is.
What a brilliant day , ive gone from 10% down to 4% up in 2 weeks phew
Hello world.
Last weeks update and WIZZ's reduced capacity. Take off maybe? LOL!
More likely improved broker rating today.
Imho
No doubt.
All IMHO.
Morgan Stanley starts Jet2 with 'overweight' - price target 1,800 pence
About time we have a broker rating
Seems to me package companies prefered over airlines , jet2 should make ground
0.3%. Oi, Ref!!! Have a word!!!
All IMHO.
Now we have On The Beach up 3.2%, but JET2 un-moved?
And we have WIZZ down 3.5%.
All very odd!
Market caning the airlines based on prediction, presumably, not facts as we have them. Up to date ones too............
So holiday Co's seem happy with bookings still, airlines happy with bookings too, the market players have decided not to deal in facts for the moment. Mad.
Insania!!
All IMHO!!

"Dr Chris Smith said as the "highly vulnerable" group had recovered, it indicated "existing immunity conferred by having been vaccinated" had worked.
About time the markets woke up to the airlies and Holiday Co's IMHO very low share prices!
Airline and Holiday Co' directors "filling their boots" with shares while the market IGNORES THE FACTS!!

All IMHO..
"I think they're better than Tui"
They're miles better than Tui
Scaff, I've thought about this a lot.
It was a no-brainer to me that pakage companies have done a lot better than was assumed.
Yet still the sp was massacred.
I think the market is forward looking and half expecting another covid disaster. It's the only reason I can think of.
I honestly hope I'm wrong and today proves to be a turning point for the poor sentiment to the travel sector.
(I thought Jet2 was a one-off, but it isn't, others have actually done worse!).
But if I'm not, I'm tracking the company. As I said a few months back, I think they're better than Tui.
Its too complicated , tell me?
