Nice to be quoted by DCat! :)
@DCat - people waiting for other stocks to come good may want to think about rebalancing into JAN whilst it at this bargain basement price
Hi IFC, nice to see your id pop up! Agreed thereās a number large lths quite content to sit back quietly happy with the progress being made by the company. Of the 6 I referred to as I know with 2m+ holdings still adding 4 do post on lse occasionally, but only 1 in the last month or so. All things going well Iād hope SP again many multiples of current level this time next year, could well be sitting on more cash than current MC!
Where we
Hi lfc. I'm not knowledgeable enough to post anything of substance but just like to join in with the general camaraderie on this board.
Hi Dcat - I guess quite a few large holders just never post. I very rarely post as I would not be able to add to the superb contributions that appear on here. Iām still adding though. 25k shares today, heading towards 1.7m shares now. I wonder what the share price will be this time next year. Patience will be well rewarded on this one.
Mesb- I spent most of 2019 heavily underwater having bought initial position when Pedra Branca was focus, when I did start getting my head round pitombieras I started buying again and about 75% of my holding is circa 2p average. Remaining 25% was bought at 6.6p, 7.8p and 9.3p averages. Hopefully it wonāt be too long in the overall scheme of things we have those wishing they had your average, madness weāre at levels since before initial PEA, resource upgrade and TM approval..
Shouldnāt surprise you that no one admits to selling, but about 6 holders I know well enough to trust and with 2m+ holdings have still been adding. I donāt mind selling, unfortunately though itās been done poorly hitting bid and selling below which only drags the MMs to create larger at lower price, silly as there has been plenty buying appetite as well. Thereās also a lot to come, but from PIs waiting for other favourites to come good.
Gallmat, send to Luis and I'm sure He will reply to you. All my email's that I sent to Him always I received a reply..
Has anyone recieved responses to emails?. I sent an e mail and nothing came back
Woodster,
How are you Mate? I trust you are well.
I don't think we will see more dilution here, Luis it's not a fan of that strategy (as far) He's been demonstrated.
The Investments in others is proving they business model and approach are working very well.
However, every thing can be change if our Business Partner ask for more cash before join us.
I hope this not happen in the near future, Jangada needs to prove to the Market they are not here to be another AIM Junior Company, but to move to Production and gain market share.
Dcat, Iām in your world but doubt I have your average given when you and others first spotted this! Well done for that. Had a small position from late last year but added mainly after I perceived an opportunity at the prices on offer when NvS exercised his options after the placing. So under water right now and doubling down on the research perhaps a little after the event. Suspect some of the recent selling is people in a similar boat, but with less patience. Probably a bit of slicing going on too. Sorry for the plethora of recent questions. Realise management donāt want to create trading windows, but given the plethora of possible news theyāre not showing much interest in offering any up! So weāre left to debate amongst ourselves. Actually I get some comfort from an apparent lack of concern on the short term share price, there must be a longer term plan. Hopefully however some of the questions we have on the route forward will become clearer soonā¦
Woodster, I hope youāre right. Have listened to some of the recent interviews more than once but the Q&A on those interviews is filtered so it has to be considered in that context.
Mesb- welcome to my world! Must have been 18mths ago I started envisaging that the Tio2 could well be the most significant commodity in our mix and started banging on about the potential based on what a few other companies were doing. I had to wait a year until the company even referenced a chemical plant in last Septemberās presentation! It can be a little frustrating seeing potential, but waiting for things to catch up with work done etc, however if we get it right as investors and pick up on these things early itās how we can make very good money. Getting to know it know will put you miles ahead of most still and hopefully guve you conviction to hold strong for the bigger gains thatāll take little more time.
I doubt you or I will get it spot on how things do develop, there are so many possibilities, however by understanding the deposits and work other mining companies are doing along with the commodity prices we can get an idea.
going by the most recent interview, i wouldn't be worried about dilution
Not knowing how the 300K trial mining limit applies in practice, my only reason for interest in this option is to potentially shorten the payback (vs only being able to sell the magnetic) and minimise/avoid any dilution to get things started before the cash really comes rolling in. Maybe dilution can be avoided in both scenarios with offtakes etc. Agree it could be short term measure but management has not yet articulated how it intends to capture any TiO2 value, so I donāt know how long weād be waiting for that TiO2 value to arise. Accept there may be practical difficulties with small volumes etc. so it might be a non starter, was just exploring what the options are I suppose.
I just think itās a distraction. Why waste the valuable non magnetic ore at the moment for some more short term cash flow, especially when iron prices will fall back in later years? More sense to focus on the iron whilst that price is hot than sell the Tio2 as a basic Ilmenite when processing it later makes more commercial sense. Youād also have to find different offtakers willing to accept smaller amounts, store separately until sufficient amount to ship then possibly out on different ships.
As before Iām not discounting it, I just think from reasons listed above and in earlier message itās unlikely.
TM will be a big step for us in derisking the wider potential, using someone elseās words from yesterday ābreaking the raise/dilute cycle & generation of free cash flow is the holy grail for why decent miner/projectā. Our BOD are certainly incentivized to do so and I for one would be ecstatic not to have advisory clients buying a placing, only to want to sell up later for the next discount placing or one after!
Ok, maybe Iām more optimistic than you!
Assuming the translation was sound, the mining licence stated
MINERAL SUBSTANCES
IRON, TITANIUM AND VANADIUM ORE
so I think there is at least an evens chance the non magnetic can be sold.
Really this is a factual question for the company, rather than discussion here. If I thought Iād get a reply, Iād ask.
Kings river deposit dwarfs everything else, often overlooked by those prompting their company on resource sizeā¦ Itās pre production though and at his time their focus is alumina.
Either their current presentation or an older one has a good slide on it for showing vanadium comparisons, youāll see their grade in concentrate is high too..
300k increasing to 600k after 2 years was in the original logistics report from 2019, 300k is I believe the limit for iron ore ops under TM and 300k is what crusader resources were granted for iron under TM way back in 2012. Iām obviously not going to be upset if weāre able to persuade regulators to let us monetize the non magnetic on top of, I just think itās unlikely!!
Short term cash flow variable will undoubtedly be affected more by the price of iron and vanadium both of which are volatile at the moment, however even at conservative levels should cover general working expenses, costs of further exploration and development work and at these levels build up some cash reserves.
The additional exploration and development work we do using the cash from Trial mining will be main uplift in fair valuation. By looking at other companies in the sector we can get a feel for what that could be, but the work needs to be done to get there. Canāt just snap our fingers and be there yet, clear road though and matter of patience should pay. Sure if weād had $50m in the bank few years ago pace of development would have been quicker, but then share prices would have been higher to!
Thatās a big resource!
Dcat, for the post yesterday, thanks for the note of caution. Until I see evidence of managementās true ambition for exploiting the TiO2 potential, Iām trying to keep my expectations in check. Realise it will be an iterative journey.
That said the February RNS with the PEA did say the next version would have a āTi creditā reflected which to me reads at the very least as some sort of byproduct sale. That was what I was trying to get my head around even if it is not exploiting full value through beneficiation etc. Reading up since on mineral sands, I wish Iād paid more attention in school in chemistry!
In terms of short term cash flow, it will matter less if the 300K trial mining limit allows the sale of 300K of product. But if you can only extract 300K of ore in total (which has to be the default assumption to be cautious unless someone knows otherwise), it matters a lot more what the early stage plan is for that non magnetic ore. Stating the obvious, a good year 1 cash flow profile will drive a lot of value here.
Obelix, itās not so much which Vo lances have same commodities. There are plenty of VTM deposits out there, itās a matter of the commodity split/grade in magnetic and non magnetic. Article below explains quite well, however itās not just vanadium that matters and indeed on some deposits like ours and kings river the other commodities can be driver of the project due to the varying grades

Dcat80, do you know which Company have the same raw materials as Jangada? I believe Bushveld Minerals are the same, not sure. We just need to find one and compare to them and maybe we will have an idea about how much Jangada will worth next year.
Obelix - their focus at the moment is high purity alumina with their composite make up being more aligned to that, recently produced an updated economic report on that. I keep an eye on them, but donāt see as good gauge to Jangada
Thanks Dcat for sharing with us. I will look at KMR again today and try to find out more information about them.
I believe we can have an idea about Jangada Mining will be in few years.
Another example of VTM deposit company successfully upgrading their non-magnetic Ore with Ilmenite into a high grade 99%+ purity Tio2 product..

Fingers crossed this gives management something to think about. The district seems to be pro mining.
Gallmat - thanks, last proper article I had was pigment $3100 and Ilmenite $310 but that was from circa 3mths ago. Knew prices has been increasing, but not by that much.

They give daily vanadium and ilmenite 46 pct prices.
