f29, I agree, I think it is also for another purpose, the board have made it very clear that they were fully funded for this stage of development of Pitomberias and there are probably enough clues in the recent news flow to take an educated guess, with a degree of lateral thinking, my suggestions would be one of the following, or perhaps more than one?, additional drilling to expand the Pitomberias asset, drilling for other elements, drilling at Mocidade, progressing the trial mining application, extending the relationship with Fodere, I would also suggest it would be a backward step to place our development on hold, on the pretext of what ValOre may or may not achieve with their works at Pedra Branca, we still retain a very significant and material position in ValOre and I would hope it will continue to provide our board with meaningful liquidity, to ensure we can progress our own potential,.....GL S
Also, I think we will hit 6p and get the warrants into play, by October.
I’m not spooked, just impatient to understand what is next and what the strategy is for the cash raised, plus the post JORC PEA development plan.
I am fully loaded now so it’s just a wait and see game now.
Fully agree that if cash is needed (for whatever reason) then cash in ValOre rather than dilute those currently invested.

Our BOD acquired PB, IPO’d on the back of it, spent years working on economic studies, continue being involved via NEDs at Valore. Deal with Valore was done in way that ensured we retained good exposure to the project as opposed to any other cash only format. We’ve reduced our holding now by 20% from 25m shares to 20m, still being the largest Valore Shareholder.
It’s clear with above that the BOD really like PB.. We didn’t just sell down for the fun of it, we certainly didn’t sell down as we think this is fair value for Valore. Ergo we sold down as we needed cash.
If we needed cash we could have raised. Try running some figures. My own suggests we’d have been diluted 15%-30% to placees with their placing discount prices and in all probability warrants (hence 30% dilution). Instead of being diluted 15%-30% across all projects, we’re reduced 20% on just Valore stake. If you accept we need cash for whatever reason I think you’ll see disposing of 5m out of 25m option is best option. As current holders we’d probably been there been diluted by 20% on Valore stake (so no worse there), plus pitombeiras and have a weak share register from placees just looking to sell at every opportunity.
I’ve already said I think Jorc will be soon and possible lots more news. By saying we’re cashed to Jorc and pea the BOD also said we’ll be running low on cash after. Critics wouldn’t buy into news as they’d think it’s just a precursor to a placing, likewise existing holders might sell into it in expectation of a placing.
I’d like to see newsflow strong enough to bring those 6p warrants into play. Unlikely if people aren’t buying as they believe cash pile is exhausted.
I think that newsflow starts this week, possibly next. I added a few more times during the week (small amounts - running on fumes!) and persuaded another 2 friends I know to take small entries on both Thursday and Friday.
I don’t think it’s worth getting spooked now. I can’t see us selling anymore Valore, we’ve done if before their news is also due to land probably with agreement from them. We’ve cash for our news and they’ve no longer the shadow of largest holder needing cash sitting over them! I’m really excited!!
Also looking for a answer here.. just speculation but there is (or was at least!) a 3500sq km vanadium claim adjacent to Largo's land held by maxtech ventures that might be in play.. can't find out much recent news about it but we could be interested perhaps (directly or as a stalking horse for Largo lol) ... probably just just a wild wild guess and well wide of the mark!
other purpose,or VO request for their other purpose is my take.
This is puzzling me too. They said they were fully funded for the JORC and PEA but was there a shortfall that needed to be made up? Or is it for some other purpose? If it is then it must be urgent because with drilling starting at PB their price is only going to rise.
Very positive and some of the strengths highlighted (e.g. political stability, share structure and technicals) also apply to JAN.
The question still remains, why sell 5m shares now @ 0.25 when clearly a rerate is imminent in coming weeks.
Tex
Yes - so that promotes ValOre as a buy. I invested in Jan purely for Pd, which now means I will be moving to VO, but on the way I have been impressed with JAN, so I will also stay invested here (for now!)
An excellent & in depth review of @ValoreMetals from Marc Davis & good to note financial journalism that demonstrates a detailed understanding of the sector,....GL S
