It was the outlook part of the statement that interested me. Hopefully we will get more insight this afternoon:
“We are pursuing growth from other existing customers and from new accounts with a view to replenishing this revised expectation with higher margin revenues.
“Our balance sheet provides us with new opportunities to target higher revenue growth. There are many exciting opportunities for us to develop new ingredients and increase revenues and we are positioning ourselves to better capture the commercial value of our performance ingredients with new customer wins, new volumes in non-detergent uses, and important new product development initiatives.”
Yes that would be good. Speak to you then
Ok shall we make it 1pm then instead
I'll be able to message at 1pm, but that's fine, will just keep the chat room open. Speak to you then, hopefully it works :)
Have asked what has become of the BR300 polymer for hairstyling.Originally touted for release in 2022.
Hi JM, how about 12 noon tomorrow. Monday?
I m missing Porky and his boundless optimism , if your listening porky , I still have my "golden tickets", although even the most optimistic of us sometimes wonder if we get them out of that bottom draw we put them in , wil they have turned into sh*T sandwiches ? not long now , good luck to you all
Random message for Elsol, apologies for cross post as its regarding another share but didn't want to post in there. Its regarding your links to UKHSA, I'm a small private investor also in the company that are working with them. Could you meet me in the room posted here so I can discuss a proposal with you? I don't want to put any of my contact information on here, if you could reply initially by message on here the time you will reply on the link so I know its you. Thanks https://y99.in/r/1623213
Was trying to buy several times yesterday , the most that was offered was 100 shares. Ended putting an order in which eventually got filled. Roll on Monday
FG - No. I was right to cash out at 190 as demonstrated by this week’s share price. Monday could go either way so I’m happy to wait and see whether I should reinvest or not. It’s much safer to catch a rising tide than to be left high and dry when the tide goes out.
I hope it is a rising tide on Monday and wish all investors here good luck.
SI
Do you think that maybe you over reacted a tad
Elsol. I agree and I go into Monday with an open mind. If I like what I hear I will reinvest. I am hoping they will spell out what gross margins look like post the loss of their largest but lowest margin customer. It is no time to be secretive and coy.
After Monday I guess it will be summer time before the H1 trading update, so they need to seize their opportunity on Monday and fill investors with confidence. Ball is in their court.
SI perhaps ITX will become investable again for you pre Jan 2025? I agree its volatile of late but it doesn't necessarily mean one cannot make a handsome return well above FTSE index in the rest of 2024.
On Monday it will be interesting to see, now that Canaccord is Itaconix’s sole Broker and nominated advisor, whether there is any change to the style of presentation.
I also wonder whether Canaccord had any influence in the recent decision to axe their largest but lowest margin customer. At the very least the company would have got their prior approval for such an important decision.
I am hoping that with Canaccord’s influence there will be a much more polished cut-throat display on Monday that can give old and new investors confidence to invest moving forward.
Monday is compulsive viewing whatever side of the track you are on.
There are lots of things to dislike about other people. Some people just feel the need to say it too and they're usually the same people who are highly negative bout everything.
(LOL)
It may be just me but I can't stand it when people state "rant over". They are probably the same people who write LOL after every sentence.
Anyway fingers crossed for some improvement with ITX come Monday.
My submitted question for monday;
The recent Canaccord Brokers report contains major capex 24E-26E. Presumably this is the expectation for a new European manufacturing facility even given the recent customer volume reduction announced in previous weeks. Please comment whether this is a strategic decision to encourage further European centric customer switching to existing ITX product ingredients or is this to ensure sufficient global plant capacity for hypothetical plant capacity demands from new diversification product wins?
Your other option is to invest in the bully instead of the bullied.
You can get no growth at all and a 7% divi at Unilever.... and save yourselves a lot of moaning ;-)
It's clear some people on here have never run a business.
You don't take on or retain low/no margin contracts for any reason other than to cover fixed costs when you have over capacity on production or when you want the clients for marketing/promotional purposes, ie, a loss leader.
Itaconix is a rapidly expanding company, constantly into new markets with new products.
If JS isn't bending over for them and is prepared to play hard ball then he must be confident of filling the void.
Show a little faith. The conspiracy theories are pathetic. Rant over.
I have raised this question for Monday:-
You have lost your biggest U.S. customer due to being unable to agree on a price increase. I would like to know how close you were and whether it would actually have been a good commercial decision to have retained the customer at current prices - even at a lower margin? or was there more to it than you are saying; ie they do not want your product any more and this pricing issue is actually an excuse?
Hi AJP
In the spirit of transparency these are the 2 questions I have submitted:
1. The company had previously referred on many occasions to “sticky revenues”. The recent loss of Itaconix’s largest customer has therefore shaken investor confidence, as reflected in the share price. What assurance can the company give to investors about future growth trajectories?
2. What impact will the decision have on gross margins? Please can you give before and after (estimated) % gross margin figures. If investors can see expected improvement in gross margins this would go a long way to improving investor confidence. A graphic would be nice!
Just a reminder as I got caught out previously, pre submitted questions need to be in before 9.00am on Sunday morning.
Monday may be a very interesting day, here's hoping for all the right reasons.

Just noticed ITX is now very active in highlighting sustainability/ECO/CO2/global warning/decarbonising etc issues over last 11-12 months of so - much more than I would have anticipated so lets see how that replays into the ne wweb site theme!
Agreed KP22.
Some BOD's in small cap companies have a way of manipulating the share price for many different reasons.
Let's hope this has been done to the advantage of all, and not just the few.
ATB.
It shouldn't have been crashed to this level on last RNS. Finger crossed for much bigger rise this time
