Solley I missed you. Your wonderful stories of family in America who work in media and predictions of a buyout here were spot on. We need more people with family in media to tell us how ITV will recover to £2. Only good news.
What have we done to deserve these rubbish comments and ridiculous predictions .
Asian markets and Europe are up 1-2% already. I am Expecting this share to gain today. Hopefully 2-3%. Some gains on Tuesday early on and then fall back to 70-71 by close of markets on Wednesday.
Of course do not take anything I say seriously. Despite being the most accurate commentator on this forum I am still an amateur and an idiot who gambles on stocks when I should know better.
On the train Euston to Lime Street. 3 days in Liverpool....Give me strength.
Visit the chatroom of virtually any company you care to mention and I can guarantee there will be numerous posts about how the share price is being driven low by crooked shorters and market manipulators. Always puzzles me why people are still keen to play even though they are totally convinced the whole thing is rigged.
My motivation is not entirely altruistic. As much as I would like others to gain here, this is more motivated by an annoyance at the blatant manipulation by shorters and the big holders.
This board has big visibility. Everyone has known for years that this share is being kept low so that the big holders can gain on day trading while wiping off value from the small long term holders. The more we put information up the more we can hopefully put pressure on those few handful of traders with the big holdings to stop playing around here on a daily basis and maybe just maybe this can go back to pre covid levels of £1.50
Wishful thinking with a share this rigged in favour of the casino bankers.
Thanks for the reply Tom, much appreciated.
AP, as I see it and please nobody follow my predictions as I am in no way qualified to speak. The share price on Monday will for the first 20-30 minutes bottom out. Between 8.30am and 9.00am there will be buying opportunities. I am looking to buy at 70.51. Then for the next 7 hours it will rise back up to close to 73.50. Sell in the early hours of Tuesday. Again between 8.30 to 9.00. Somewhere under a 3p or 4% gain for those who want to gamble on this rigged share to be had every 2 days.
As for the lottery winning numbers...... I do play occasionally but the best advice there is "It is a tax on stupidity"
Very good decision Tom. You have this share price on a piece of string. Its uncanny.
For the followers only: Sold at 73.4 this morning. Small profit
"MKS is worth what the share price says".
Yes indeed Porkchips, my above comment was aimed at our resident big mouth troll, who is forever saying the same thing about ITV.
"MKS is worth what the share price says, currently @130p per share"
what a difference a day makes NigeCo - MKS now 147p ,
" MKS is worth what the share price says".
... day to day sentiment and sheep traders wont determine what any company is "worth"
Tom.... "MKS will regain their value. They are winning the battle for survival on the high street. Still the store to go to for food and underwear."
The market disagrees Tom, MKS is worth what the share price says, currently @130p per share. I hope that MKS don't go the way of BHS & the rest. In this day and age the high street is dead. Long live M&S, ITV need M&S for their advertising revenue going forward. I looked at MKS and decided that they are too risky with their debt and not even paying a dividend yet. Even ITV have started paying a dividend with tomorrow the payment date for 3.3p per share. Nice.
It's all in your head Tom. Who in their right mind would want to be you?
Nige for the 100th time I have history with ITV. I worked for them in their offices at Grays Inn road. I care little for Carolyn and knew nothing of her before she moved to ITV.
MKS will regain their value. They are winning the battle for survival on the high street. Still the store to go to for food and underwear.
My losses are bigger than yours. My gains are far far bigger than yours. I tower over you in stature and as a fully paid up Mensch. Try to emulate me and be more like me.
The day trading is working for me. Just trying to share the love in between ITV posting results.
Tom, I wouldn't trust anyone who has troll's a discussion board for at least 4 years because he holds a grudge against its CEO. I'm not sure anyone is interested in individual trades that anyone makes, it's boring to say the least, especially when they are fictitious.
Yes it will be 5 years come July that I purchased ITV, although I recouped over half my losses in BT. Pot calling the kettle black Tom, regarding you MKS 250p losses? How many years 4 and counting? You had your chance to sell at a small profit, yet you decided to purchase more at 260p, £100,000 worth wasn't it. Your losses put mine in the shade.
Nige, the problem as I see it, is because of your own propensity to deviate from the truth you now automatically expect others to behave in the same fashion. The rat smell is all of your own creation.
Share price was moving around 70.5 for a good hour or so. I took the plunge. It could end up going below 70. Who knows.
Don't let your bitterness become your overriding emotion to everyone here. Some of us just know not to sit on losses for 5 years.
Tom........ "I bought back this morning at 70.5 after watching it go down to 70p and then climb back up."
Tom, I may have been inclined to believe your ITV trade had you not waited 25 minutes to see which direction the share price was heading before you decided to disclose your trade. We could all play that game. I smell a rat.
I bought back this morning at 70.5 after watching it go down to 70p and then climb back up.
Realistically I need to sell these at 74p to 75p.
