Thats good. If your savings are meagre Aim may not be too risky for you. I have No Opinion on this share other than the price is being manipulated. When dont you use the opinion tab if you think its a buy?
@battyk no, just a regular pi looking at possible opportunities for my meager ISA savings. Joining the discussion to share my opinion and compare with others.
Did you watch the presentation??? What were your thoughts??? - I'm interested in your interpretation of this webinar.
I think this afternoons IC article sums it up pretty concisely, worth a read. Speculative / high risk.
Why would an investment firm close a short at any price? Surely their goal is 0p or as close to, then its pure profit
Charlie they are evil organisations, they will take it to 2 or less... They don't care about people losing money like us.
Surely Helikon and JP Morgan must close there short positions now at this price
Let's hope those big boys that bought up the placing are buying big to average down.
Agree Gazelleman. Easy to get caught up with the drops and blame it on all sorts of things. Check out all the other similar stocks. A fair percentage of the recent fall is down to the endemic within techs. Tesla down , Plug , Vestas , Nel , you name it. Meanwhile the general , boring , market areas doing pretty okay. It won’t always be this way.
The trouble is you look at the buys and sells and you can't be sure, I have sold loafs of times and it has been shown as a buy...
I agree Gazelleman..
Other than the too three shorters, Does anybody have a better understanding of how much ITM is currently being shorted by?
I thought the interims were good and the ammonia market is really exciting. Cooley is always neutral when asked about daily share price action. The recent raises were all oversubscribed, and there is plenty cash in the bank. I thought what he said was bang on, and straight regarding a period of delivery, and manufacturing capability. Plenty reasons to think this will reward by Q4 22, I think was mentioned.
groundsander
do you work for the shorters?
The barstewards want their pound of flesh
Why are there so many 'A'utomatic red trades? Is that the hedge-fund computers forcing the price down further?
How did this get to over 7 not to long ago, baffling
Al. Ost 50 % down now... Can't believe I didn't take that tiny 250 quid loss when it hit 406 earlier in the month... 4.5k down
Just doubled up, still need 408p to break even - they have had a terrible start to 2022 along with the sector as a whole. Results not that bad, but will just have to wait and see what comes next.
Green-ish-er energy being a hot sector, I joined the ITM webinar as a prospective investor - looking if the weak shareprice was an opportunity for a good entry point for a Hydrogen play.
Not a great first impression, what struck me was some of the language used. It gave me the feeling that this company is focused on building equipment and capacity, but not so interested in whether that delivers value to shareholders. I actually found the language quite dismissive towards shareholders.
"Nobody is interested in the shareprice.... well except the city" => and maybe your shareholders who are watching on?
"Investors put their money in to fund a 5GW Gigafactory" => erm.... maybe they are also hoping for a return at somepoint?
I got the messages that Hydrogen is an exciting marketplace, but I didn't hear a confident message on how ITM will convert that in to a good outcome for shareholders.
I can see why the price weakened on that presentation.
Hope we're getting low enough for those shorts to close. Surely they have to close them soon. Now would be good!
Yes agree that the presentation wasn’t dynamic, but Graham Cooley made clear statements about how the business is now very prepared to roll out manufacturing.. there is a strong order book and the business needs to deliver orders, landscape will start looking much different.
The whole market has drfited southwards, ITM following sector trends at moment
Barclays recently reiterated their 600p target and institutions recently ploughed in at 400p. So this current sp is a mystery
FFS it's a sea of red again.
Has there been a recent interview I've missed!? Why is it plummeting! Didn't think the report was that bad. :(
Well, the presentation was lacklustre in my opinion. Such a relevant and exciting subject and made drab by Cooley. No dynamism and drive. I’m disappointed but I still hold and add because eventually I have no doubt it will either be big or taken over.
I think CEO did not summarise ITM position well at all.
