I haven't sold any either, my costly mistake. If it jumps significantly I'm gonna start trading some, albeit measured amounts. It's a strategy that I feel suitably experienced now to adopt. Currently for me HZM traded and blue, IRR lth and red, and let's face it, the only bottom line that matters in any of that is neither share nor strategy, it's the colour.
Even though I am hacked off here, I haven’t sold any, and won’t be at this level !
I suspect that we will get good drill results in a month or so, the sp will jump up only to be met by a barrage of sells. It’s happened every single time. still nowhere near enough volume or interest here.
Can only be placees in at 7p or someone takimg a sizeable loss.
Pipkin - got your message but cant read it as don't have LSE premium. Give me a shout on twitter.
it's a concern to those large sells down here. Bewildering tbh
looks like it's going into the 7s. certainly no shortage of selling, even down here !
Good reply. FWIW I think the frustration of some of us like me is causing us to speak our minds, get it off our chest. Although not popular, previous posters like MB and ATG had expressed concerns for some time. I was always careful not to criticise their remarks even if I did not always agree. They are not silly guys by any stretch.
No matter, I'm in, onboard, draw a line, now wheres those Zaranou results... ATB
I agree the IRR story has been very infuriating and disappointing at the same time..having said that it did give investors the chance to make a healthy profit on its climb to 48p ish but as is often the case with many exploration companies the path to success is not that simple..however all is not lost by any means at IRR but I agree pi patience is beginning to run thin if not out..in the grand scheme of things compared to many others still not a massive amount of shares in issue..they now have a decent amount of cash to continue operations and it would appear to throw a big chunk at Zaranou..big show of confidence from some directors and not from some others..market never reacts very well when directors sell for whatever reason..Crows was hard to take because he sold the lot only slightly mitigated by the fact his stake was bought by another shareholder but NMs sale certainly did not go down well in the market particularly because of his position in DGR and his involvement with the company..nonetheless he still holds some 2 million shares..many have said including myself that they were spinning too many plates..VM has said they only need one company maker..let us hope Zaranou proves to be just that
It also has always bugged me why stu crow sold out. What did he know
deep down I know that even the 5M won't last forever, and from a PI perspective another dilutive raise would spell wipeout.
Look, I'll end the gloom there, let's get results out, and bank on POG and that elusive interest from a major. Whilst sincerely hoping it takes off, from my perspective the story is just starting to run on borrowed time. We await Zaranou. Whilst Ghana could surprise, the restricted Li price means not sure what a JV partner would offer us apart from more dilution. GL
Swest yes similar thoughts. I think looking back the company should have raised more cash a few years ago when they had the chance. I remember them raising at 35p when the sp was 30p. They could in hindsight have raised more then i’m sure. To be raising now at 7p has peeved me off to say the least. I do also wonder how much has been spent on Chad, which in my opinion is on the back burner, just as the Australian assets ended up, never even mentioned now. How much was spent there and for what. Just too much jumping from one project to another for me now. And as I said need around 23p to break even now.
All I would say Mike is that I've learnt some good lessons during my time with IRR. Resulting in a profitable position in HZM. Biggest one is how to take a measured profit. When I happened on IRR it flew up to 47, I thought it would go on forever, big mistake. Lesson learnt.
We can't go on like this forever, if Zaranou doesn't shift it this time I may have to take a view, move on, put it down to experience. From how you sound I have a hunch you are similarly minded. Really hope it doesn't come to that. But facts are facts, its struggling to stay above 8 even now, frankly thats awful, and it pains me badly to say it. GL
It was only the year before last that vince did an interview where he stated the sp at the time 28.75p was grossly undervalued. I added more after that. So yeah 8 or 9 pence may well be a compelling entry level. But from my own point of view having been an avid supporter of the company for 4 years and now massively out of pocket, I would need at least 3 times this just to get level. Was it worth it ? I have to say no. Holding these stocks on aim long term in the main just doesn’t seem to work for me.
IRR mantra “creating value through discovery” Share price 3 years ago 40p. Share price today 9p and falling. The only items increasing are the board’s salaries and the number of holes drilled. I read the corporate presentation May 2020 page 5. IRR has a “compelling entrance price” If we small shareholders remain invested in IRR much longer how much more compelling will the share price become?
