For an interesting comparison Google coolenergy.com and read about their Thermoheart 25 kWe Stirling engine.
EarlofAim: Truly you are a visionary. I'd like to point out that you and your kind ARE the backers. Over the last 10 years much money has been raised on potential, promises, discussions, Imminent trials, builds, design for manufacture BUT not a single contract to achieve anything has been signed. For those millions you and your kind have donated not a single thing has passed through the non existent factory gates.
The word POTENTIAL has made John Gunn a wealthy man but you ....
Why use argument, logic or truths when insults are so easy to throw around.
EarlofAim: you are about 6 months behind the curve, if you care to read my previous posts, I stated that a Stirling could be of use in a marine application.
But large cargo ships, while producing a lot of waste heat, also burn the dregs of the oil industry i.e. very cheap fuel. Heaven knows what HP their engines pump out but producing another 10.3 HP isn't going to send the shipping industry wild. The Stirling is heavy and expensive, that's why it isn't mainstream. To seriously improve big HP engine efficiency you need a lot more output from the Stirling. If you want to improve the lowest power output D13 by say 10% then you need a Stirling that will produce 37.5 HP simple. So In-spirit's Stirling has improve hugely- simple yes.
from £100M to Billion! hahahahaha
Volvo isn't going to INSP, stop peddling fiction.
You all tried to get a rise out of the price today, and failed. Seems the pump and dump trick and INSP has run its course and no one is biting anymore.
So FOA
Buffalo is the village idiot here and his twin sister is Phimx.
Buying now is the trick.
buffalo
you must be thick as SHi t.
I'm buying the potential and you seem to dwell on the passed.
I'm saying this has the potential to become billion dollar a useful player in the billion dollar industry.
you keep putting this company down whilst Volvo thinks otherwise.
do buffalo you're smarter than Volvo company who are keen on taking this to commercial in the future?
go and read RNS properly without the pass experience you had
INSP is going to be huge IMO
GLA and Dyor
Are you a comedian? Man that last statement was hilarious!!
£100M cap, hahahahahahahahaha
What are you smoking?!!!
??Volvo involved
?? Volvo should buy a junk of this company
??Technology should get attention from Cruise ships,
Cargo, Etc.
??Billions ££$ could be saved when the tech is implemented across the globe
£2 Mcap could become £100M with the right backers
The is no Technology EarlofSh*te. Only a 3D model. Volvo isn't agent to buy INSP, stop peddling fiction. The rise did not come, so you can just leave now. No more ramping for today day.
Stop mentioning green too! Volvo is a Diesel engine FFS.
No matter how often you and oldblue repeat sh*te, it is still sh*te.
this is what I reckon going to happen
Volvo takes over and implement this technology to cruise liners, Ships, cargo ships and other marine vehicles.
I'm sure this technology if implemented worldwide should reduce cost over billions.
any thoughts on this matter would be appreciated

The current global warming situation and various other environmental challenges
call for innovative and easy-to-implement technologies to help counter the effect.
One of the ways is to increase the efficiency of already existing systems to help push
out more work for the same amount of energy input. In some internal combustion
engines, roughly 30% of the input energy could be lost in the exhaust gases with an
additional 30% wasted as heat. This wasted energy can be partly recovered using
waste heat recovery(WHR) technologies. The recovered energy is then converted to
electrical or mechanical energy for further use. The aim of the project is to study
the feasibility of waste heat recovery in a Volvo D13 diesel engine with respect to
fuel consumption using an organic Rankine cycle for marine and power generation
applications. The project also includes brief evaluation of various available alter-
native WHR technologies. A 0D analysis was conducted using Matlab to select an
appropriate working fluid
