stokey12 - Of interest will be the allowance of the MOD to accept that Team Resolute may even pass the PQQ. I would imagine that you are not aware that you need a turnover of at least 1.5 Billion to be able to bid. Yes some of the partners are well up to that level but the Infrastrata group is not even close. This will be an interesting one to watch.
Trafighura
£50k minimum imo
And I really feel for those that bought in on the back of the Saipem contract win when this spiked to almost 54p - more than DOUBLE the current SP!!
What is clear is that the SP didn't even stay beyond 45p for more than a day following that announcement and the reason for this I feel is clear - some were clearly aware (possibly II's) that a placing was being talked about or worked on at the time as it was probably known at that time that a PB would have been required for the contract, hence it allowed some to exit and just wait to see what happens to the SP before deciding whether or not to get back in.
There is upside from the current price BUT material progress needs to be coming and quick imo. Make or break time imo
I added another 79k shares yesterday between 26.15 - 26.20 yesterday - I hope for JW and AR's sake they are intending buying substantially more next week to make those pitiful purchases seem not so embarrassing lol.
Any director buys have to be notified on the day like yesterday so if they do decide to add more on Mon we'll know on Mon. But a reasonable amount imo is 100k shares MINIMUM otherwise it just sends a message that either they are not confident about the prospects of the business going forward or they are just plain ignorant...
How nice of them to buy them well below the placing price
Just having a quick look at the days trades. Can see AR's buy at 14:55. But JW's is split between 14:31 and 14:48. Cannae Scot that he is was probably waiting for a better price. lol Not that getting one of the cheapest prices in years ain't bad.
Good timing lads. :) Maybe the 40k is from the chairman. Sorry, can't recal his name. Oops!
Is this one of those times when some wag says, "chuncky buys coming in, somebody knows something".
No?
Last August Deborah Saw "left"
"A search will be undertaken to appoint a new non-executive director as soon as possible."
Mmmmmmm....
Evening Jabido. Not long in and just checking in. Saw the red dot and wondered if I'ld missed something important as I was half tempted to have a quick punt this morning. Decided not to in the end and went to work.
Yes, it's a bit pathetic if it was meant as a good guesture.
Could be assumed that if they are "buying" lol, then they are not in a closed period? And as such, no earth shattering news due at the mo.
Jabido - gloomy for sure..
TELETUBBIE
Have to admit I have been a bit gloomy about infa recently, in line with Nobby and tango amongst others. Tonight has topped the biscuit. I haven't a clue who, if anyone, told them that such pitiful purchases was a good idea. Frankly they are taking the p_ss. At worst it's a middle finger to us, at best it shows a complete misunderstanding of the market and investor sentiment to make such a derisory purchase. I continue to think infa will do well, but at what cost to us PI's I haven't a clue
Nobby31- Yes your correct. What would happen if some big name money sticks it head up behind these Triumph guys. The JW and AR circus will have some 'Please Explain'.
Karen01 - certainly looks like you have an agenda or your part of the JW and AR circus. Any company that needs to raise funds for PB for a 26m project could not possibly be rated by the financiers of anyone building a boat. So you seem to know lots about the Triumph project and the costs, what did Triumph unrealistically want or was it the other way round?? Just asking the question..
I would add that 2hrs ago JW has posted the following on LinkedIn
2 hours ago
'Great work being done on this in conjunction with numerous stakeholders, demonstrating in detail why the Island of Ireland will be dependant on our storage facility as we move forward, we have also highlighted the incredibly serious threat to security of supply that currently exists and will only continue to increase.
We look forward to moving our project forward shortly.'
Edit: Clearly something is afoot hopefully a decision on ML by end of July - all very positive.
morgz1 - if the circus needed to raise funds for a small PB for Saipem, how the hell did they think they could raise the funds to put up the PB or BG for vessels that must surely cost a lot of money..
Nobby 31- No need to make chips.. cheaper than spuds
That would be a good guess..
A bit more from march 21

These buys were a clear reaction to the comments made on this board (despite the fact that JW said in the mysteriously corrupted presentation that he didn't read bulletin boards). The levels of their purchases can only, charitably, confirm the level of their stupidity or arrogance; I imagine this will drop below 20p next week.
Looks like hydrogen to me Stokey

I like the cut of Barry's jib!
Are we going to get a decision on the ML soon. The reason I ask is that I have just seen this on the INFA Twitter account. https://twitter.com/InfraStrata_Plc/status/1403360442148347905. I wonder why they are promoting the benefits of IslandMagee now what has changed.
Anyone worked out how many days salary those director buys cost?.......
spud,
Indeed. What on earth do they expect the market reaction to be to those embarrassing buys? What were they thinking?
