the contract is to wash and polish 10 canoes for skern, another rights issue is needed though to complete the contract.
In dry dock or on the slipway? :)
Maybe they have a contract with Skern Lodge?
A rowing dingy and a canoe if that helps, nothing else visible.
This might be of interest the sums involved are not small. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zQzn_0SKz4

Firstly I enjoy reading posts here as more balanced than most boards. My concern about the above without getting into politics is the NI Assembly who struggle with decision making due to constant in party/multi party bickering and in truth very little gets done, I am not even sure who the current minister of the environment is, a google search tells me that Poots is !!! at the moment with him stepping down there is immense instability within the party which has a knock on effect within the assembly, therefore I do not see an ML decision in the near future, also as this decision is for the whole of Ireland do not think it will be favourable, hoping I am wrong and that our very well paid board start producing NEW contracts within the energy/repair and ship building business. Roly.
The first data sharing fee was 450k and went to the subsidiary island magee gas project and the second for 500k wasn't as specific on where it went but was claimed to be for the development of monetisation of the gas project.
It's from before the previous board were ousted loosegoose. At the time we had the first data share for circa 400k and then the second at 500k.At the time it puzzled me and the only explanation was perhaps an interested party .
Thanks Chitta123, interesting posts today. I am interested in hearing a bit more about the drill data. Was this a recent purchase? If so and if INFA was the owner then surely 900k income - cash would justify an RNS. Is this what you were referring to in your earlier post? I do hope something positive is finally coming.
I know it's cool avyererdoubt.the drill data from the salt caverns was bought for 900 k .Surely there is a reason for that.it's my assumption that whoever was looking at getting involved with those gas caverns would want to know with certainty everything they needed to know about the salt and the geology etc and this came before the board were ousted.A plan was in place for this company years ago and it revolved around those salt caverns .Graham Lyon was drafted in as he was a gas expert and involved in Nigerian Gas at the time on a consultancy level ,he had absolutely no experience of shipbuilding but certainly knew enough about regasification vessels and the supply of gas.The plan killed two birds with one stone ie energy security and UK shipbuilding both to become separated at some stage going forward. The Energy security is out of Infastrata brief and surely that is a governmental concern which is why the ML has always been a forgone conclusion in my estimation.Looking at share trading it's clear something major is playing out with some serious shifting of shares with maybe killik involved.I don't think we have too long to find out and if I'm wrong I will hold my hand up but if I'm correct that is good for us all.
He who laughs Last laughs loudest.Put the pieces together and see through the mist and noise.
Once the ML is announced I suspect the funder of the gas cavern project will appear.I believe it's the company coming in to take a majority stake in the gas cavern project that paid 900 k for the drill data at island magee...Infastrata will become a successful engineering shipbuilding concern with capex coming from the sale of the gas cavern project which will include the regasification vessel project.Energy security was the interest when po**** led the takeover from the previous board in my view and the trade off was the shipbuilding engineering aspect with boris ensuring that would prosper.Boris rolling up at Appledore and infa acquiring their asset base isn't a risk laden experiment but more of a fillip for the government and it's UK shipbuilding rhetoric.
Am afraid not, dont live local enough to see whats going on, but I scan the local media to see if anything has been reported.
Good to see you remain here - a bit of a rough ride though
Andrewjt In relation to your 07.14 post do you know if any work is currently being done at Appledore as nothing has been said since the Freshspring left.
Thanks Andrew, posted these links a few back and now with yours we have the full timeline. Going in, work in progress and returning back to Biddy. :)
Some nice pics and a timelapse video of the SS Freshspring in the dry dock bay.

Who paid nearly a million for this data and why?
Poots resigning after a vote of no confidence has nothing to do with IM.
Been endless amounts of chunky buys over the 3+ years ive parked money here, that have led to nothing.
