Yep just gone in to a loss too :( - but as I say it I'm looking back and nothing has changed from when this was at .8 a month or so ago apart from we're now closer to FEED being finished so going to sit back and switch off for a bit and wait for the RNS alert to let me know somethings changed I think :}
It is all very sad but I am now back into a loss never thought that would happen with this share I guess time to be patient.I am showing as a 'Strong Buy' because this is a good investment at these cheap prices just very frustrating.
Well as I see it, the short shelf life of the warrants is a compelling reason why there may well be another straight equity placing to raise £500k or so in the next few weeks. And the fact that the new CEO recently bought some shares is irrelevant if the company's financial position requires a cash safety cushion to get through to construction contract award time.
Thanks Thomas good to be back
Setanta
I doubt there will be a placing short term due to some of the reasons McAdder notes.
JW has also invested heavily around the .62 level and said in the CC that he would have purchased more if the SP had not risen. They are also currently in a closed period.
McAdder great to have you back.
I'm reassured. I'd forgotten the shelf life of the warrants.
Thanks for the information and the thoughts mcadder, but I'm still somewhat mystified by the recent price action. Go well.
Thanks for clearing that up mcadder! I believe the next few months newsflow will boost sp well above current levels. Circa £370k of 0.6p warrants will almost certainly be excercise, as they only have a shelf life to January add in a chunk of 0.48p warrants and there's your £500k Setanta. Enough working capital up to start of construction (hopefully)
The recent price action is indeed frustrating but I am not of the view that there is any imminent placing. A recent conversation I had with SI capital allayed any fears on this topic when it was mentioned that there is nothing in the pipeline for one. Never say never but in the short to medium term I'm not convinced there will be one. Bearing in mind we are currently under budget on the FEED, along with discussions with invest N.I and major funds which I assume continue as well as potential for further warrants to come into play....even if there were to be a placing further down the line I would imagine it would be a smaller one at a far higher SP.
I thought money was there until FEED completion which by then surely the SP would be quite a bit higher then if needed could be a placing that'd be my guess of how it would happen
If the SP hits 0.54 I think the SP will bob around the 0.49 - 0.54 range for about 3-4 weeks before the bag climb, then a placing. Will see...... Fun & games - spin the wheel in the AIM casino.... GLA!
lower sp day and I begin to feel more convinced that we may see a placing. Spud, the £120k coming from the warrants won't cover many eventualities here.I imagine another £500k for insurance may be considered opportune. But the cause is good and I am a believer in the project.
I have always kept my holding short of the first notification threshold and so I have some room to go again if we see a .5p placing. And I would certainly do so! Note my opinion in the box associated with this post!
jfk, in a positive manner absolutely.
Caught a news item which talked about looming problems for Northern Ireland energy market post Brexit if divided from the rest of Ireland, big hike in electricity prices predicted. Raised potential that Irish energy market may need to remain as is, this would presumably impact on Infa.
Small top up just made in ISA .. agreed can’t see anything other than period of radio silence
ok checked bank - i'm now poor till tomorrow but got a top up in ='D
We'll pay day tomorrow and if it's this low I'm topping up :>
FEED is within budget and infa has banked circa £120k of warrant money. I can't see a raise coming at this juncture. Low volumes, poor market, bored traders, no news for a while are all to blame for this dip imo. Patience required as the stars align imo
Although the longer term shareholders seem to be playing it cool I must say that I am a bit mystified by the recent share price movement. We have lost 30% in the past month and we have had no important news whatsoever, (unless one counts the defenestration of AP),in that time period. The CC was a non event but that was to be expected
I notice that there is a tendency to lower the sp towards the end of each trading day, even dropping it a little below the spread, and I recall someone,(was it Megatron?), suggesting that this kind of drop is often the precursor to a placing, especially with INFA. The general level of trading is very low and perhaps that accounts for the fall.
Nevertheless it would be good to have some kind of encouraging news.
Tidd
Snap, Todd. I added another million .
No reason for the drift down given the last few news releases - all very positive, ahead of schedule and under budget. I’d imagine some significant updates will be on the cards in the near term and happy to increase exposure as such.
Anyway, I'm quite impressed with a holding of that size. That goes for you, too, spud.
Ah, ok. Fair enough! That'll serve me right for not reading a thread fully!
