Only guessing, but given all that has already been said and done by Infa in recent months, and the importance of the project, I would say the you are in about the right initial target area, Whatamess. And then some??? We shall soon find out. Some deep pockets in those potential contractor names. Maybe a clue?
Thanks for the professional insight jfk
I held a senior commercial position with a large infrastructure investment organisation for a considerable time. Whilst permissible to go through expressions of interest and PQQ phases without funding secured the ITT phases always necessitated committed funding to be in place. No reason to believe that should not be the case here. The fact that tender returns are for responses to two phases implies, to me that, that Infa has funding secured to progress both phases, so eight caverns.
That was a well thought out post schiemiel - thank you.
The funding talks have been well advanced for a long time now, which suggests all due diligence as to bankability have already been done by the funder (as it was always said an announcement would be made in Q4).....I'm sure it is just a matter of perfect timing now for the announcement.
So that leaves Christmas Eve before 12,30 or Thursday/Friday next week (28th, 29th December)......John hasn't been late with one RNS to date!
Same for the blue chip off-taker.
Couple of spectacular announcements coming!
GLA !!
Good thinking schlemiel.
INFA's issued an ITT. Why do that if they haven't yet got the cash to finance the start of the construction of such a project? Current cash balances are nowhere near adequate
The question is this. Is Wood confident of securing the funding necessary (from whatever source) to start the construction of and the completion of the project at Islandmagee?
Taking into consideration past news releases from INFA and the very fact that they have issued an ITT you would have to say, yes, Wood is confident funding is secured otherwise why would you issue an ITT. Indeed, why would a contractor submit a tender if they thought the project was a complete non-starter. A tender submission would be a pointless, costly act if the contractor thought it was a non-starter.
If INFA do receive tenders then can we assume these contractors have been given assurances by INFA that their submission isn't a pointless exercise but a real, commercial opportunity?
It all points to a project that was once seen as a complete fantasy and as now become one that is on the cusp of becoming a reality
I had 5m and sold for a meagre profit (that decision cost me thousands) as I thought it was a pipe-dream of a project but now I am utterly convinced that Wood is absolutely and supremely confident that funding is in the bag
I bought a few on Friday as I believe the ITT news is an admission that funding's in the bag (in whatever form that may be)
These all seem primed for the funding RNS which I still think will come before year end given how bullish JW was about it ..
More good news. Viva JW. He is just so on the ball.
No he doesn't - you know those duracell bunnies? One of those is actually John Wood
Just when I thought we could go to sleep for a few days, up pops another juicy nugget! Land purchases this time. Does JW never rest?
State of the art, most advanced, fastest cycle, future proofed, gas storage in the UK!
Sounds good to me GLA
Older,
Bang on, also reminds me so much of SXX, difference here is the build costs are much lower, SXX in the billions due to the design and works involved. I exited SXX just prior to the initial, planning consents being submitted, one of my better investments that one was!!
Mr T
Very informative and lucid video. It does remind me so much of Sirius Minerals years back.
Now I see Costain Group were instrumental in producing that video for Infa. Wouldn't it be shocker if they weren't awarded the EPC contract!
Superb, bring on the next wave of news.
Have a good Christmas all, looking forward to a brilliant New Year with Infa, currently must be one of the best aim shares going into 2019.
Mr T
Brilliant, informative video. Well done. Keep up the information flow! Merry Christmas all.
ooo, it was submitted from costain group as well hey ;)
Yep merry Xmas pacman, I hope you get that kitchen finished;)))))
Merry Christmas Pac-Man. I hope you’re considerably richer when you return in the new year.
Just a small point, but INFA has issued double RNS’s 12 times since end of July, I look forward to the second. Signing off now, for Christmas. All the best everyone, and here’s to a prosperous new year.
Looks good to me. Just need the finance news now
Some big names on that list and another excellent update. One bluechip has already issued a LOI for offtake and 6 more still at the table. Gov grant for upto £40m of funding submitted, FEED completed, Islandmagee given PCI status and updates on financing discussions expected near term.
Some big boys in there :0!!
So these 6 must have all given a letter of intent prior to this stage also then :0
