That's good if its pretty standard to do that.
Its just I didn't read the results of that meeting at the time. I only had a look after Eyeguy highlighted another RNS from that month....I got spooked....I thought it must have been a misprint!
and yes....I know JW is very anti-dilution and I do have a lot of faith in this BOD.
I'm not a world class researcher, but I do have some excellent qualities of an investor such as shortage of funds, low IQ, suicidal tendencies, tendency to over-exaggerate and over-react, sheep-like conviction, blind faith, emotional and mental instability on a grand scale and an addictive gambling nature. Besides all that, I am a pretty good judge of character and my heart rate has returned to the normal millions per minute after a brief peak of billions per minute....LoL!
I'm back in my seat, the stewardess has calmed me down and I am once again ready for take off!

A plan to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian gas looks shaky
The Southern Gas Corridor could even hand Gazprom more clout
Jan 5th 2019
FOR YEARS, western European countries have worried about their access to gas, almost two-fifths of which is supplied by Russian pipes. These fears have not receded since in 2014 Russia cut off gas to Ukraine, the main thoroughfare through which its gas arrives in EU countries. Three times since 2006, rows with Russia have stopped gas flowing through Ukrainian pipelines, leaving customers down the line shivering. EU leaders have long pondered other sources, such as American LNG, but the latter is far more expensive.
Such worries have flared again even as, in 2018, imports of Russian gas by EU countries reached a record high. On December 29th Russia rejected European demands to release 24 Ukrainian sailors detained after it seized three of its neighbour’s ships in November. Ukraine is calling for fresh sanctions on Russia, raising the risk that it might once more cut off supplies.
Standard stuff! Anyone who spoke to JW at the presentation will have picked up on how anti dilution he is at plc level! Nothing worse than hindsight research lol Strange thing to pick up after you've almost 5 bagged ;)
Thats OK Spud.
Its just that it seems an awful lot of shares to issue.....I can't see why they would want to issue such a staggering amount of shares.....18 BILLION shares at 0.01p and the best part of a BILLION shares at ONE PENCE per share.
I'm sure everything is fine or somebody else would have picked up on it.......But I can't help being a little sort of spooked by the sheer volume.....I can't get my head around it at all.
Sorry for the one line response Snownan! After looking myself I cant find the info that was available I was at the AGM in question and resolution 8 was to allow the board to issue more shares if needed. Which was unanimously voted through!
Sigh Do some research
..Also '.... and in addition 895,424,391 deferred shares of 1p each (with no voting rights) ' I just noticed this bit refers to 1p shares....I thought all our shares were 0.1p.
Is this bit equivelant to 8,954,243,910 0.1 shares then?
I must admit, being inexperienced in this game, I am confused and alarmed and hope that I'm interpreting it wrongly.

Infrastrata PLC

‘…..Share capital reorganisation …… Pursuant to the passing of resolution 8 at the AGM, the share capital reorganisation to change the nominal value of the Company's ordinary shares will take effect from close of business today. As a result of the share capital reorganisation, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 188,041,599 ordinary shares of 0.01p each ("Ordinary Shares") and in addition 895,424,391 deferred shares of 1p each (with no voting rights) and 18,616,118,301 second deferred shares of 0.01p each (with no voting rights).’
That last bit is weird..’and 18,616,118,301 second deferred shares of 0.01p each (with no voting rights).’
That’s 18 BILLION shares !
I must admit, I never noticed the mention of 18 BILLION shares..............what are second deferred shares ????
Agree Tidd. If any retrace because of the warrants likely short lived as they expire soon.
Hard to predict who is selling what so I’m happier holding and switching off rather than trying to trade it
Eyeguy yes I think there will be some conversions involved, on the flip side it injects further capital into the company. Volume is key here and is clearly increasing, it shows the awareness to INFA is growing. Given the significance of the next few pieces of news in the pipeline I would certainly expect to see similar uplifts.
For every two Placing Shares subscribed for, the subscriber will receive one warrant to subscribe for a new Ordinary Share at a price of 0.6 pence per share ("Warrant") and will therefore result in the issue of 62,500,000 Warrants. The Warrants are exercisable for one year at any time from Admission. Exercise of the Warrants is conditional upon the approval of shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting on 31 January 2018 of resolutions to provide authority to the Directors to issue and allot further new ordinary shares on a non-pre-emptive basis.
Explanation for the slight retrace would be a few warrant conversions.
There are circa 30 million left by my calcs which need to be converted in the next 4 weeks.
same* spell
As though we have just been visited by a bad fairy. She's been here twice before since June with almost exactly the spell/smell. Ignore.
Olderandwiser, great post and very apt in view of your BB name.
I like probably many others have taken some profit today. Aim is a very fickle place and I have learnt from past experience. I expect the sp to drift down on low volumes until news comes. If we have to wait a few weeks for news I wouldn’t be surprised to see a pull back to 1p. Despite selling a quarter of my holding Infa remains my second largest investment and if I am wrong and don’t get the opportunity to buy back at a cheaper price I certainly won’t be disappointed!
Whom I would like to express my gratitude to. Like of Spud and Mac provide outstanding analysis. As a long term holder with a strong belief in the company but very limited investment experience I really do appreciate this board
Majority of posts from regular posters too O & W
..de-rampers, and they WILL appear over the course of 2019, consider this as a sentiment barometer:
The number of daily posts on this BB.
Today, a sum total of 55.
Yesterday, a similar number.
This, at the height of Infa's first spectacular % rise in this entire rally from mid-2018.
Now compare that with other hyped up AIM shares in their "days in the sun": AAOG today - 500+. UKOG 1000+ for many days.
MYSQ 1000+. Ahem.
And so on, and so on...
No, a counter-trend pullback was to be expected, and might continue for a few more days until substantive news is released, but NO WAY is Infa overhyped and ripe for a big fat smack by shorters, myriad profit-takers and other assorted negative posters. But let them try. The story is sound, the management is sound, the technical duration and height of this upmove is still immature.
55 posts? Pffff.
Mood on the bb changed lol.
Bound to get a bit of consolidation after the run we've had!
Nothing goes up in a straight line, higher highs and higher lows. ...........
Have a great weekend
Well done to everyone who’s made a correct prediction in the past and hard luck to everyone who’s got it wrong - we all have our winners and losers in this game! After all we’re all trying to predict a random walk.
I’m sure most of us would agree this weeks highs will be beaten going forward. The board have recently put enough skin into this one to give me plenty of confidence in that.
INFA not likely to go below 0.95. it may head down to 0.95 - 1.05 before the next legup. It just needs to cool off.
Lotsadosh - ok, I won't. Bye bye bye!
You do have an agenda Dinerios, why say the price will drop to .60, that is a clear deramp. I wouldn't be posting on boards if I am not invested.
Typo, should have said "never posted".
I have posted any price predictons dinerios so the 3-4p is not my prediction. Where are you basing your 0.6p figure on please?
