Deformation sounds nasty. Probably worse than defamation...
Speedy , if only she would.
is a dangerous practice, even if you think you're anonymous on these boards.
Looks like I'm going to miss the AGM - so yet again I won't be meeting you LTH serious posters. Looking forward to my skiing holiday however, just hope I get back in one piece, & hope to meeting up at some point in the future, Roll on funding news. GLA
Into any spate of buying just now. More warrants being cleared?
Oh ok then, that makes a nice change. Irish news sounds like it's written a poorly researched article, so just read the RNS of this company and you'll build up a picture of why we like the company and its management
Yeah these things can definitely happen but at the end of the day you can only really invest on the facts, doomsaying would pretty much lead to not investing in any share, even at FTSE level if a director was to leave or something it crashes the share price so not really sure what the difference is here - JW is immense but no-one is irreplaceable
That Irish news article had loads of issues with it - is why I called it crap the other day - razer's right that not getting the funding is plan A with the EU money essentially a cherry on the top
Nope, not trolling - researching. Read in the Irish News this am that the money is essential (critical was a stretch, apologies) - I quote "The company - which has just posted pre-tax losses of more than €1 million - has already invested around £13 million in the Islandmagee project, and sees the European money as essential to enable it to proceed.". I know little of the company at this stage, but the info here is useful hence me asking. I wont ask anything further. wow.
Are you trolling mate? If you knew a single thing about this company you'd know the EU funding is not critical, and all of their plans have assumed no funding granted. EU funding is therefore purely an upside if we get any of it. There's no need for a plan B because not getting the funding is Plan A.
With the EU money critical to the further expansion of the islandmagee venture, and with so many variables that are EU centric what's the plan B here should funding not be secured? Takeover, PI or JV (a placing wouldn't fund it) - how would they realise the £40m needed through other channels or is this now an all in the EU basket or nothing move?
Mitch.
A very wise man told me many years ago...........
People have two ears and one mouth and should be used in that proportion. You might want to think about that?
Regards.
Seen these have a great run. Well done.
Let's have the next news
officemanager you're about to get the comment of ''who are YOU to be questioning ME'' from Mitch in a sec =D
Man alive, are you for real , what if what if?. You are clearly invested, if you truly are , in the wrong company. Negative Nelly doesn't come close.
Give it every chance this morning but no volume to take it on ,
Dropped back .
Spot on imo Radders! !
"These long-term incentives, along with cash and share based remuneration are designed to align shareholders' and the Company's interests in retaining our key employees to deliver a successful Project over the next three years."
Do you not think putting some kind of retention deal in place for key personnel may be a requirement of a future equity funder ?
No worries Mitch. I think it's only healthy to question these things. And ignore the fanatics on here. Handing out 5% of the company before concluding the finance and construction for a project is cheaky to say the least.
Si
Welcome and all I can say is if you have been in this for 7 years you can say whatever you feel appropriate.
That is a very long time to be invested in a single stock with no reward. Hopefully you will see some reward not in the too distant future.
I was a long tome poster on iii, not on the infa board but various others, however following the changes over there I can no longer follow what the heck is going on, the site is a very poor one now from my perspective which is a shame as there were many very insightful posters over there back in the day.
This board is one of the most civil boards on LSE, so I don't think you will encounter many problems.
Mr T
You should have been here 7 years ago to understand dilution. Even lolier.
Sorry to jump in, in such a fashion. I took the plunge and joined LSE over the weekend. Was kinda fed up of not being able to fillter some of the cr@p being spouted. Not here, but elsewhere. As of yesterday I have held this stock for seven years. Jeeze, there's been some changes. Besides the dillution, which is never good, the relatively new re-shufffle of the BoD has been miraculous and so I don't begrudge any of them for taking up options and such. It seems in the most part it's instead of cash payments for work carried out. That shows confidence in what may come to pass. I going to stick with it till the end. Because, I hope the end will be as far away from here as the start was to here. Won't be adding that much as regards insightful postings. I may take the mickey or chuck in the odd joke here and there. But that's how I do things. Lifes too short and it's only money. If you've put in then you must be prepared to loose it. Easy as that.
GLA.
Regards, Si.
PS, for those that are really wary of new posters. my post's on iii are still there from day one. Don't worry it's only a few pages over that time. No one else was that interested. :)
Was in mxo around 3p years ago, I met Stefan the CEO at the UK investors show and sold my shares lol. I believe he is on about 200k a year (could be wrong) No shareholder value has been created there for years! Sorry for off topic
You should have been here a year ago to understand what dilution is lol.
Mitch,
I wouldn't get too hung up about options and remuneration at this stage. If you look at the latest audited accounts you will see the remuneration for executive directors is quite low as it should be with a loss making start up. See note 6 to the accounts. AP was the main earner in those last set of figures. Options are a way of forward remuneration for the people responsible for the hopefully future success of the company. This is all quite normal with a junior aim company and not something that overly concerns me. If the company is successful then it's shareholders will be the main beneficiaries in particular the ones that are long term holders. For me this is what it is all about, as it always is find a good stock with a good project, appears to have a good team at the helm who have delivered on a timely basis. The sp is going in the right direction slowly but surely, and if as expected the newsflow over the next few months is positive then you will see the sp respond in spades. It is then up to individuals of when to take profits or whether to hold for possible larger gains. Remember though as with all aim stocks, the sp will peak at some stage and then fall back. I'm expecting a significant uplift if the news is as good as it appears it may be!! but it may not be, it's always a gamble in the aim jungle.
One aspect I wouldn't be looking at or concerning myself with at the moment is dilution? That is something you can never predict or plan for imo.
Good luck.
Mr T
