One of the conditions to convert draft to full licence is finance in place. I'm guessing news on this fairly soon
Marine*
Agree 100% MrT, the Marine License was always known about. The draft license allowed for findings and studies to be carried out as part of the FEED process. This was a pre-req to final submission to request the full license. There is no reason why financing discussions and offtakes cannot be concluded ahead of any license award. In the O&G and mining industry farm outs and financing deals can be completed whilst enviro and survey permit processes are run in conjunction. This is the basis of avoiding delays. The mining license is a lot of noise about nothing created by the NIMBYs because it is the only scrap they can cling to. I have added today.
Kibuc,
Exactly, and in my mind if the licence was as big an issue as some have tried to make out and the company had fallen short in it's diligence regarding this then an RNS would have to be issued to the market stating such. I am of the opinion everything is as it should be and it will be resolved as and when it should be. It certainly has nothing to do with the other discussions ongoing at the moment. If it had Infa would have had to say so at the time the other offer arrived, ie discussions are ongoing and other offers are on th table but due to an issue with the full licence application discussions are on hold or may take longer than anticipated!
Nothing of the sort has been stated, in fact all updates point to everything being on track albeit finance discussions are taking longer due to the late arrival of the latest offer.
Therefore nothing to discuss and the next two months should enlighten both shareholders and the market. As i say, be nice if the sp had a little upswing between now and then, I think it will eventually.
Good luck
Mr T
Agreed disappointing and the 2p tease did set expectations rising. However I do get why this has taken the time and realistically don’t expect the big news now until the end of May, with perhaps another holding RNS on day of shareholder meeting. The Marine licence is slightly worrying I suspect as the protest group have made such a big thing of it, but it does seem INFA have gone about things entirely correctly with full transparency, so hopefully it’s fairly binary in terms of boxes being ticked. I am also going under with the rum
I though about it for a bit and I'm not sure if that's the case.
Remember that there were parties back in 2018 interested in proceeding with funding deal, despite marine licence process being less advanced back then. For me it shows that negotiations can be successfuly concluded on the provision that licence will be granted and a letter of intent or an agreement in principle can be signed. I'm not quite convinced that the licencing process is holding funding or offtake decision back.
I'm in the hold. And I've broken into the rum.
Hic!
Not coming out 'till something has been decided.
Still aboard awaiting the passage plan like many other LTHs.
Gentleman thank you all for your input.
Mr T I say bad news as I’ve watched my investment go from 0.75 to over 2p and come straight back again. Just like some of you it seems. To be honest I expected 3p by now. I guess I’m just a little disappointed in the SP performance recently.
CRL good to hear from you, although we’ve never spoke I follow you a lot on the TRIN board, I came out of that while ago. Just after the placing, hope that investment comes good for you.
Good luck all and hope we that RNS we all want soon!
Look forward to reading some positive news :-)
Seeing I was asked my opinion of share price...here it is.
I respect others views but IMO there HAS been a far from positive (neutral at very best but leaning far more toward negative) news flow/news blackout.....masking setbacks since Christmas. Mainly concerning licence...we should have been FULLY in the picture regarding the issues there. There are many that will continue to say nonsense...everything was to plan re that issue..but I'm not having a bar of that...but that's personal opinion.
I can"t for the life of me see any reputable company signing anything until that is done and dusted So in that respect I believe we"ve been strung along a bit.
There are many that have and will continue to not have a word said against the mantra that the company can do no wrong.
Having said all that...I believe we will prevail....not sure if the FID will be on time. But one thing I AM sure of is that WHEN the licence IS granted after all o jections have been considered, all contracts will immediately fall into place and the SP will take off like an Exocet missile.....make sure you are loaded and strapped in because IMO it will be meteoric.

Both sold to EPH
Like Setanta and Spud and McC I have been in here since takeover. On and off. I hold quite a few on a loss. There are multiple possibilities as to slump in price. Mostly it’s just what AIM does. Not necessarily for any reason other than to set off stop-losses or depress people into selling. Patience wins . Except in dodgy companies about to fail. This does not show signs of such.
Just to reply and confirm that my family Trust advisors rate this share a Positive Buy at the current level .. the only downside being the number of Warrants outstanding and dare I say generally the huge amount of shares in issue.Other negatives are fully manageable subject to the vagaries of Aim.I personally remain very optimistic about this one but being AIM it is not one for the feint hearted for sure !!
Joey,
You are correct to ignore Mitch, he doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
As for the current sp, I'm afraid it's a symtom of the aim market and the fact that we are stalled in discussions with various suitors before any news is released that may or may not give a boost to the sp. I would like to see the sp over 1p before any news is released, this may happen leading up to the newsflow. In the meantime sit back and wait for the action to begin, patience is the key here. By the way I don't agree that we have had 4 months of bad news, the only negative news I can recall was the sudden departure of the Chairman, for most part all other news has been either neutral or positive. It's just that the market is awaiting the real news, ie offtakers, financiers and dare I say it the finalisation of obtiaing the relevant licences, although I believe that this particular issue will be sorted at the appropriate time.
Mr T
Mitch I don’t post much at all (however I do pop back now and again), I don’t think anyone cares that much about your opinion considering all previous posts from yourself. I don’t think I’ve read anything which has been positive regarding research for Infa.
However if Spud, Mcadder, Snowman, Dawski, Mr T, Setana (to name a few) are all still invested I would be interested in what you all think regarding the current share price. I’ve enjoyed your input over the last year.
Having had 4 months of nothing but bad news surely things are about to change....
Given that we only recently got a project update/refresher RNS I wouldn't expect any significant news to be announced this week or the next. You don't need to issue a "everything is fine" release if a major update is just around the corner. Personally, I'm bracing for late May though I'd love to be proven wrong.
I am still on holiday but checking in each morning looking for that 'Red Dot' but so far nothing. What are people's expectations RNS this week, next week or after the first meeting in May.At this rate of SP change I will soon be at a loss.Unbelievable - I am now showing Hold.
H not H2, sorry

Will anyone be going this event this evening:

Yes,Megatron..I agree.. Probably not a good analogy so take it as withdrawn .have to be politically and otherwise correct nowadays .No room for humour.
As regards the Licence this is work in progress and is not currently insuperable ..
No doubt there are many locals who are the silent type in favour of, or not bothered about, the project. The nimbys are trying any tactic to put doubt into this project. Have to admit they stumbled upon the marine licence issue and have jumped all over it, which is a cause of slight concern. Dawski... Given your position, have you had any reassurances around the licence from the bod? I'd love to attend one of the evening events but can't guttingly
Insane analogy, dawksi. One to report/remove asap.
Should of course read "40 and not 10 years away from being able to do without Gas"!!
From what I hear the great majority of those locals who may be concerned about our project are decent law abiding individuals who hopefully can be persuaded that our vibrant project will help fill the gap between coal oil and renewables including hydrogen ...
A small minoriity can be ( I am informed ) darn right nasty and we must not be provoked. If per chance they drive a car and use oil for CH please stop being nasty and try and see why the project is so necessary to enhance gas supplies to the Isle of Ireland and create and even all year round price competitive supply.
WE currently are a good 10 years or more away from being able to do without gas and as long as the Company behaves at all times responsibly and is compliant we have nothing to fear ...as long as any objectors who cannot be warmed to us do likewise.
One more thing..JW has a proven track record and so does Arun.Their joint vision is for Infa to be more than just a Gas Storage Co..More like a dynamic Energy Hub not necessarily just at Isle Magee ....lots of pitfalls and unknowns ahead about that but in the short term some pretty exciting and long awaited announcements are imminent ..just not sure if they will be before or after the May meetings !! whatever... Infa is experiencing it's own Easter Rising after the sometime debacles of Hindle & Co and others !!
