Longlad, point taken but that list doesn't have board members with 6 figures invested bought on market/aligned with shareholders, I don't think even the most unhappy of us feel JW and Arun are here for a free meal ticket/lifestyle company exercise.
Setanta1 - I support your solid post & we do need to stay calm & you have clearly demonstrated that the proposed deal today will not significantly dilute our shares.I also agree that the MM's are just playing with us.
The Rns says that 25million shares would be issued upon acceptance of the Meridian deal. That, Longlad, is less than myself, or Nobby 31 hold, and way less than Dawski's impressive holding. It represents about 1.9% of the current share capital and it would not be triggered for at least three months. By that time the Eu funds will have been received and we will have a new Chairman. The other 75M shares would not be raised until the FID is taken which will probably be in about two years and by that time the Islandmagee project will be near completion and revenue production.
Todays SP decline had little or nothing to do with current investor fears. It was a bit of manipulation by MMs to lower the SP. As usual they will do well out of it.The lower they can drag the SP the more they will gain on what, I believe, will be a decisive upswing . One shouldn't speculate but I don't think it is too far away.
Well weighing down the scales on the other side you have ast, her, pxog, cake, qpp, pfp, prem, prox, chal, tpop..etc....etc.
Lets see how we get on going forward, to date the market isnt scoring Jw s card so favourably
ASOS and Boohoo are aim companies and they aint doing too badly. If only you had put those in the bottom drawer when they first arrived on the scene ;-)
Fannying about with a 250 billion dollar company? Bring it on :-)
Aunts
I appreciate what you are saying, but who invests in bottom drawer shares?
Aim isn’t a long term arena to invest in, it’s a market to raise cash on, most companies drown in their own shares. JW implying more shares on the way is spooking holders/investors. If he needs to raise it should be like a band aid, to get it over with, don’t fanny about.
I’ve been here a while and the share price has absolutely crashed, I am not intending to sell what concerns me is I’m not intending on buying.
Using the figures in my last post and online coverters of cubic metres to cubic feet then cubic feet to therms.
I'm pretty sure that's handling £68.5 Billion of gas per annum at 28 pence per therm, or £93 Billion of gas at 38 pence per therm !
Not sure what our cut would be for handling that ......any guestimates ?
I'm jealous you're out on the bike esp. the dolomites. Roll on the infa party!
It's excellent and massive............from RNS 'At a projected capacity of approximately 5 million tonnes per annum, the FSRU Project will not only add to the UK's security of gas supply but will also help balance the gas network on peak demand days'
That means it can handle 7 Billion cubic metres per year !
Workings
1 tonne of LNG = 51.7 MMBTUs and 1 million BTU ( 1 MMBTU) = 26.8 cubic meters natural gas).............in other words, 1 tonne of LNG = 1385.56 cubic metres.
Therefore:
5 million tonnes per annum x 1385.56 cubic metres = 6,927,800,000 cubic metres
Whichever way you cut it.....that's a lot of bloody gas !!!!!!!!!
Well put Aunty. I feel for JW, it seems he’s dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn’t!. Good RNS today and entirely consistent with stated aims of the Business. Had I not been on a mountain bike all day in the Dolomites, I would have added today. Will look to do so tomorrow.
It's not an insurance policy. The company have stated many times that they will be pursuing other projects as and when they arise. They are also keen on gaining revenues asap. You may have to put this in the bottom drawer for a few years and forget about it. Stop fretting about day to day movements on the sp.
*possible* re-opening I better add
some article here about the re-opening of the Teeside Gasport Nobby was referring to earlier
https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/major-gas-terminal-built-teesside-16059709
I think JW was correct to develop any potential business opportunities that cross his desk.
My concern as voiced earlier is that this year has been one step forward and two steps back. The constant delays and missed deadlines don’t have me rubbing my hands in anticipation as we haven’t got over the line with our main project.
I think today’s rns is an insurance policy should plan A run into trouble.
My average is above 1p so I’m hoping things come together.
Who buys £4.50 worth of shares!
there's an interesting comment Tango1 !!
Still think the Broker we are ditching has something to do with the sp performance, But history next month!
sji2671 and Avyererdowt I found it and it was the 14.09 trade.
Yes went on NEX https://www.nexexchange.com/member?securityid=100815
I've just bought another 1million shares. Yet again it has not been reported. It has probably been shunted onto NEX . Can someone tell me how to find share prices on Nex. I have no problem accessinh the web site but I rarely manage to find up to the minute share prices.
Good post snowman! Think it's time for people to stop with the doom and gloom - JW is not throwing in any towels, and yes the share price has been stagnant but so what, we're long term holders
I think it's great news and I think Vitol will be our eventual partner in this venture........roll on further news.....I think steady news flow to follow that will get progressively better and better.
Great time to buy.
5 million were sold prior to RNS- predominantly buys after...Patience needed and that stuff that stops you biting your nails!
INFA were asked to seriously look into FSRU by a potential equity partner, and they contracted costain to look into it. Well they have potentially done that without all the expenditure, as most permits and permissions have been granted. If INFA did not look into this they would have looked a gift horse in the ass AIMO
