Yes I did say 500-1000 apprenticeships
This has been posted on Linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/posts/harlandwolff_over-the-last-few-weeks-we-have-held-apprenticeship-activity-6823567091115941888-5fNk
Over the last few weeks, we have held apprenticeship assessment days across all of our four sites. It’s been great to welcome such talented and bright people onto our sites and we look forward to shari g further updates on our new recruits!
As I understand it INFA will be getting a payment for each apprentice.
Either they are living in a parallel universe or there is some serious contract money about to come Batman and Robin's way.
One would think with the SP at ever decreasing all time lows on a daily basis that any bit of good news would be spun out.
Talking of websites, I see they have had a bit of a re-vamp.
Not sure about the spinny pictures though. :)
Oh, Link I missed from the last post.

Agree about PR Si i do not expect an RNS on contracts below £1 million however some companies issue monthly updates via website cheap as chips and keeps PIs happy as you say not everyone uses linkedin
Cheers OT.
PR dosen't begin and end with Linkedin and Twitter Mr Wood.
Thought they employed some "expert" for getting the message out quite a while back. Errm...
Well, looks like they are looking for some more staff for PR and such as she must be overwhelmed. lol
Thats a lot of people to replace a tweet once in a while. :)
Guess they must think they have news to share and will be able to pay this extended payroll.
Been thinking that for a while, OT. tbh
Rinse, repeat with those shares driving it further down until they can pick it all up for a song.
Stranger things have happened.

Fantastic to welcome Azura from Carnival (UK) alongside the Harland & Wolff ship repair quay this morning bright and early. Azura is the largest cruise ship ever to be in H&W or any other UK yard. This is a market we are pursuing hard, it’s fantastic to see a UK based cruise ship back in a UK shipyard. We look forward to demonstrating our abilities in the comming weeks
Pretty please. Could you give us some idea as to what was said as not everyone has access to Linkedin.
TIA :)
Belfast or Appledore wil win royal yacht contract imho
Stokey they also behind on the contracts they have if you read into it further ,plus they haven't been awarded the new contracts ,email Ben Wallace and ask him
Chrisatrdg ref 14.59 post Baser on this article from the UK Defence Journal https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/type-32-frigates-to-be-built-in-rosyth/ looks like all the new types of frigates will be built in Scotland.
Been looking at Bab****/Appledore deal if am correct they get a 2nd tranche of £300k of shares in August so if over the last month/months they have sold original tranche causing the sp do drop 50% they will get double the amount of shares back next month ?
JW has editted his original post on the Azura. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-6816616384852717568-fK9D It looks like he is actively pursuing more cruise work.
Shipbuilding contracts can't be far off now imhoo
Chris great find ,brilliant news

BP were INFAs strategic partner and pulled out in 2014. Apologies if someone’s already mentioned in posts below. Was under different BOD and drilling for oil was part of strategy back then
Hi Castle,
Have to say I nearly bailed on this last week, but held the faith for a few more weeks. The BP is a serious option in my opinion- sure they'll be all over Hydrogen, will be all over wind and INFA offers all that for them, but quite agree that a supply agreement would indeed be very welcome! Maybe they could take a 49% stake, loose change for them to secure potentially an awful lot of value for them. Wishful thinking perhaps...!!
Thanks for the reply Stokey I didn’t know about that I just found the 2nd contract proposal on cenkos
Also found this “ The P&O Azura vessel is due to enter the Belfast facility in the coming days for general repairs (we estimate £1m+ revenue”
Hi All,
Hoping that we have found the bottom here.
Couple of interesting things I've noticed.
- LinkedIn post from Infrastrata with appointment of Head of Grants. Chap is from a water background with Canals and River Trust and Waterways. Thought the job title was interesting.
- article about a big BP bid for Scottish Windfarms. Notably BP comment about bringing investment to shipyards. Is it too out there for the BOD to approach BP as a strategic partner? With all things going green and INFAs energy focus, it actually isn't the craziest idea in my mind..!

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun

oldtramp ref 19.57 post There is a Saipem 2 contract which will start next year we have a value of £43m for the contract which is about another 12 jackets. It maybe that there will be a third contract although I have not heard anything about that.
Good find oldtramp I am now following Linda McKee Asocc. CIPD it is another back door way of finding out what the hell is happening at all yards but it looks like Arnish Yard are preparing for their first contract.
Quick question for the LTH i see saipems contract on Neart na Gaoithe is due to be completed in 2023
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neart_Na_Gaoithe
The total amount of "jackets" is 54 we are currently doing 8 with a schedule of about 1 a month have looked to see if they have contracted anyone else but come up blank.
Obviously INFA could do more with the other yards but surely they would need to get it organised soon ?
