Someone made the point the other day that JW is now in a closed period hence no more director buys so I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn of 1 or 2 contract announcements shortly
I guess the worry is if they don’t book another large contract then it’s c£5m revenues at 25% margins. Very poor. But if they get another or a few bigger contracts then it should do well
This was from JW in the last trading statement: "Our current focus is absolutely clear: to convert opportunities to contracts as quickly as possible and increase organic cashflows so as to be in an annualised cash break-even position by the end of the current calendar year." I understand we are on track for break-even by financial year end (31st December), so I think this is panic selling from retail investors. If institutions bail, then that's different. Ride the storm, bail or take it as an opportunity to reduce your average. I am riding the storm, although I have hovered over the sell button on a number of occasions.
Interested due to the drop but I see they booked c£6m loss for the 6 month period ending January 2020. £12m losses. Great contract of £20m+ but at around 23% margins. What’s any ones thoughts here?

Maybe I'm being cynical, but could one of the reasons behind the recent plummet in share price be due the upcoming instalment? The lower the share price, the more shares the vendors pick up. They could then wait for the share price to rise (wishful thinking?) and sell for a handsome profit. Is something going on behind the scenes or am I oversimplifying things?
My understanding of JW’s shareholding from Morningstar and Stockopedia is that he holds 0.551% of total stock. The latest share denominator published 24 May 21 is: 121,690,349.
Therefore, JW’s current holding is: 670,514 shares at 16.70p (22 Jul 21): £111,976.
However, he acquired many of these shares at a much earlier time. If we value them at the earlier placing of 45p they would have been worth: £301,731. And, if had purchased them in the heady days of say 120p+…
My point is that JW is on this journey as much as we are. I wish him well because my tender is tied to his boat (all puns intended).
I agree that the value is a finger in the air but I think the Saipem contract and facility would generate significant buying interest.
An explanation on the docking from Seatruck Panorama https://www.linkedin.com/posts/infrastrataplc_an-emergency-docking-of-seatruck-panorama-activity-6823901934555156480-pHrk
An emergency docking of Seatruck Panorama saw our team working around the clock to change the blades in just 48 hours. In, out and back into service - we know what matters.
I note that it departed on Monday and only now is it mentioned.
Yes, but there’ll be a lot more value destruction and cash extraction between now and whenever the assets have to get flogged. I assess value to kick in at 9p.
Good luck Lottie although it may have been worth waiting until the shares have been sold relating to the second installment for the Appledore acquisition which is due shortly.
This could put the share price under further pressure assuming the vendors sell the £300,000 worth of shares that will be issued to them
'Tranche 2 on the first anniversary of Completion of £1.50million:
A total of £1.50million consisting of cash of £1.20million and Ordinary Shares in the Company equivalent to £300,000'
No not the Michael Jackson film. My final throw of the dice. The SP is now close to where I perceive the assets of the company to be worth through a sale, 15p. Having added to today, that is my last attempt. It is in the lap of the gods now.
Again I must be mad but picked up another 56k shares at 16.70p. 350k will be his total investment to date including the decent amount of money he put in back in second half of 2018
From memory, he bought £35,000 approx not long after joining INFA, and the couple of small amounts recently.
That doesnt come anywhere near £350k.
Though i'm happy to be corrected.
JW responded directly to someones message last Thursday where amongst other things pointed out he’d invested £350k into the business and couldn’t invest more at the moment as they’ve gone into a closed period.
Someone told me last night that they went on one of these "assessment days" and as part of it they had to wire a plug. Okay, I thought, that shows some basic level of inteligence that not everyone would have, I guess.
So just had a little chuckle when I zoomed in on one of the pics to see "How to wire a plug step by step guide" on official H&W headed paper no less. :)
Is this new info? (More likely my lack of knowledge showing)
https://www.insider.co.uk/news/hie-advanced-talks-over-commercial-24583302
“The report revealed that Infrastrata asked HIE and SE to negotiate a commercial lease on the Methill and Arnish sites. The agencies would retain ownership of the sites following the conclusion of the lease.
French Duncan stated that if InfraStrata was to default on the lease terms, “the lease should be sufficiently robust” that this would trigger a break clause, letting the agencies regain possession of the sites.”
mrozzy ref 16.03 post at least they gave more warning this time.
Thats a pity he cant buy another couple of grands worth of share, would make all the difference.
Though obviously the fact you cant remember where, when its just a couple of weeks since he last bought shows, you're probably incorrect.
You will see I have now had my reply from DAERA with regards the ML an answer that has taken longer to reply to than normal & I think they needed time to consider their reply.I believe we will be getting an answer shortly even just to kick the can further down the road.Fingers crossed.

Dear Sirs,
It has been stated in earlier e-mails that 'there is no timeframe for the Minister to make their decision' but following a consultation there must be some form of timeframe otherwise what was the point of having had a consultation. Is there not a legal time period that resolution to a consultation is achieved.
Is it possible for my question to be forwarded to the Minister to make him aware that this question is being asked.
Once again I am appreciative of your answering my e-mails and look forward to your reply.
Regards
They don’t have the b@lls to look investors in the eye, nor a recovery story that would withstand scrutiny. Do we all agree that compensation at any level above a small fraction of last year’s would be borderline criminal? Not that I expect that to bother them.
Again.
I noted somewhere that JW stated they are in a closed period which is why he can’t buy any more shares. Hopefully it’s due to something of substance happening soon !
oldtramp ref 14.25 post I would not expect the strategy before the House returns on 7 September. This is due to a convention that major policy statements are made in Parliament first. Mr Speaker is likely to hae some choice words to say if MPs have to wait weeks to question the government on the Hydrogen Strategy.
Incidentally the same point applies to the National Shipbuilding Strategy which will also now not be produced until September at the earliest.
Are many folk from here going on the 29th ?
Unfortunately I can't make it myself, but would have loved the opportunity to see the Methil yard and also get chatting to JW, AR and some of he team.
It's just a hunch, only a hunch, and nothing but a hunch, but i feel there may be some form of company announcement of positive news prior to this meet. The reason for this hunch is solely based upon that on previous public interactions I've noticed Infa have usually had something positive to put out to us masses (just before their interactions with us). It makes us PI's feel good, and has us positive prior to talking to the main men, bless us.
Watch this space over the next 7 to 8 days for the headline and the positivity ! The share price currently needs it !
