Quite right.....sorry Speedy.
What we have definitely all got to do without fail is make sure we are loaded to the hilt and fully strapped in because I think we are going to be subject to awesome g-forces when the SP catapults upwards with a resounding TWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNGGGGG !! lol!
With respect Snowy. I did say should, not will. You're definitely right, those big items WILL move us higher and the sooner the better, lol!
.'.Snowmann 1100- Do you not think the Marine licience approval will blow the doors off?'
Tango......absolutely !.....but .....IMO the '1.Draft Marine Baseline Report & updated Environmental Impact Assessment. and
2.Final Marine Baseline Report & Environmental Impact Assessment Issued to DAERA......both won't even make a dent in the share price.
They are both a long long way from having the licence.....after that comes the public consultation (also IMO won't move the share price ) .......then the consideration of all the objections by DAERA............then, and only then will come the issuing of the licence and that certainly IMO will put a mega rocket under the share price.........as will funding news! .......they are the two biggies for the Islandmagee project imo and I think the funding news is holding out for the licence.....methinks they will come in rapid succession.........we are then going to be in a completely different ball park. Of course all sorts of other news could also blow the SP out of the water...like the £1.2 billion Royal Navy frigate contract landing out of the blue at the docks for H & W !
Why is it that all key projects here keep getting pushed back in time?
The Marine licence is the single thing that starts everything for IM:- equity/debt/Chairman will not be before that IMHO!
Snowmann 1100- Do you not think the Marine licience approval will blow the doors off?
'1.Draft Marine Baseline Report & updated Environmental Impact Assessment.
2.Final Marine Baseline Report & Environmental Impact Assessment Issued to DAERA.
3.Release of revised construction tender documents.'
With respect Speedy, I disagree...... IMO NONE of those will lift the SP.......it needs Chairman announcement, equity/debt funding details, draft gsa details or a really positive rns concerning FSRU or the shipyard required to lift it.
It will all surely come and when it does WWWWHHHHHAAAAMMMMM !!!!!!!!!
Totally agree. Was just answering Radders as to when it was announced. Pipped by Speedy as I was writing.
Only 8 trading left in October. :)
Going by todays update, which I was expecting around the deadline of the 9th, rather than eagerly expecting any announcements within that time frame, I'm resigned to have to wait calmly until they decide the time is right.
But all the sam it is rather exciting, after all this time, that by the new year we could be completly new territory.
I suppose releasing the detail would not help any future deals or atleast compromise the negociations.
Really good statements being made in the house of commons by Defence secretary stating the absolute requirement for the ships to be built in UK shipyards and their full intention to do so. GREAT NEWS for H&W staff asecurity and INFA.
I suggested the GSA could be confidential Si and Nobby agreed
Draft GSA reported as done and checked off milestine list as per RNS 2nd October.
No details given though.
Radders or is it blabbers, I get confused?!
Oct 2 RNS lists draft gas storage agreement as completed, though no other detail has been revealed (understandably).
Remaining Oct milestones should push SP higher:
1.Draft Marine Baseline Report & updated Environmental Impact Assessment.
2.Final Marine Baseline Report & Environmental Impact Assessment Issued to DAERA.
3.Release of revised construction tender documents.
Agree speedy. New Chairman, Equity Funding Agreement, Marine Licence (Final Baseline Report Issued to DAERA), FID. These are the Milestones against main project that we need to see ticked off. Also, have I missed Issue of Draft Gas Storage Agreement ? Appears to have just dropped of the milestone list ?
Chris.
I read it as not positive news nor negative, further "uncertain" delay, which the the market doesn't like it seems. I hope the next fsru update is more positive.
Surely todays RNS is a positive one cannot understand why there is a SP drop !!!!!
We have less of this through winter:
https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/uk-gas-prompt-prices-soar-090631871.html
We wouldn't want to run out of gas when it's cold and snowy outside, would we?!
God knows what the price of energy would be!
Would today's RNS have been a good time for JW's to have included a nod towards Hydrogen storage - let everyone know the versatility and longevity of the project's?
Hopefully marine license next
Indeed news today on the FRSU project exclusivity extended to January 2020 in talks with far Eastern companies?
There appears to be much going on and infa is definitely no longer a one project company. Be nice to get some movement now on the Chairman etc and where are those EU funds?
Mr T
Should be some form of news this week deep into October
http://www.itm-power.com/news-item/ofgem-funding-for-uks-first-hydrogen-trials-on-the-public-gas-network
They have made a (small) start tbf
Agree Hydrogen will be massive as only water vapour as byproduct- just need government to invest in it like the Japanese are.
Will play a big part in a net zero future
The only real answer to decarbonise heat
https://www.clarke-energy.com/2019/hydrogen-future-fuel/
Hydrogen can be stored in salt caverns....
Think a trip across to support our team could be in order post FID
