Just noticed Blair only ever posted on INFA since joining in JUly19 and every comment negative- Blair go forth and join your Protest community in trying to ruin NI's future- MUPPET!
Blair, all milestones have been met, only release of tender documents held until DAERa give timescales which is perfectly reasonable. I take it you are not a holder?
Setanta, they need money from somewhere - a lot of it, and fast! No point making a conventional placing at these price levels.
This "storm" has been raging for over 9 months; forget the rampy-pumpy 2p+ in January, I take the placing at 1.25p as the benchmark, following which there has been a relentless slide in the share price. Bar a quick bit of blue in October (allowing some to exit, no doubt), every piece of news released has hammered the share price further.
Milestones have quietly slipped, goal-posts have moved, focus has disappeared.
Like any bulletin board, INFA has more than its fair share of happy-clappers (as well as some outright deluded weirdos); it seems the cold light of day is bringing out the realists too.
Setanta- I Hope not but as long as JW has exceptional explanotory comments if it is the case, I would still be holding- I have penciled in (for my own targets) FEB-2020 for absolute finalisation of IM is happening.
Only as an add on to my post. I am concerned that the selling pattern today may indicate another money raise. More Riverfort?
If they are not making any money (demonstrable) they will not get preferential rates, sometimes you have to take a chance and it has been a calculated risk as the BOD are confident of getting FID done before year end, I hope you keep the faith and ride this inevitable storm.
...'I thought it was a ship!'....
Starship!
JW is not only a very capable admiral but also a first-class pilot licenced to fly anything from a two-seater piper cherokee to a full intergalactic multiple-warp-speed interceptor star battleship.
Thanks for you response. Just two points I'd like to make. The DD's were deferred to the year end because that is what was permitted in the initial negotiations. The "request " by the equity partner that INFA should investigate the FSRU is heresay. We don't even know who the Equity partner is so it can't be verified. The alleged savings for the IM project are also heresay from JW with no evidence whatever to back it up.
The fact that INFA had to raise the dreadful recent finance doesn't speak too loudly for powerful potential partners.
I have had more than a little faith but I think it's high time that faith is rewarded. A share price that has been allowed to fall 80% in nine months has ccertainly stretched that faith.
Regarding other projects- FSRU was requested by the equity partner and I do not think it would have been wise of JW to look a gift horse in the back side, And DD has been extended to 08/01/2020 probably because of the exact same reason you are stating, H&W was an opportunity to reduce costs by £40+ million and reduce timeframe by 5-6 Months, again should JW of looked a gift horse in the backside? (and again no decision till after FID end of Dec), Have a little faith- we are still in story phase all beit the last chapter.
I thought it was a ship!
The malaise with the SP has nothing to do with the local residents most of whom are not shareholders in INFA.
The Marine Licence will be granted, or not, on it's merits and that's exactly as it should be.
The share price malaise is related to the lack of any news over the past nine months that might be considered unequivocally positive, added to a recent silence by the BOD in relation to the IM project which contrasts with interviews and tweets which did little to convince anybody of positivity.
JW seems to be an excellent man but I,for one, would like to have seen him complete on the FID decision for Islandmagee before taking on additional projects. He gives the impression that he has very little understanding about how AIM works. It is all about TODAY! Surely he should be able to give more precise information about the status of the EU money. Going to the EU and then informing his shareholders that the money was still not available in July but that his questin about whether it might be available in Srptember elicited a "smile" by way of response wasn't very professional. Not being able to name a Chairman after a seven months period, nor give a reason for that important failure, is not too encouraging either.
There are not a vast number of private shareholders in INFA. The way in which the shares are traded makes that obvious. What the peculiar share movement encourages is a periodic inflow if interested parties followed by a quietness. But then everyone is entitled to post. One doesn't even need to hold shares.
Message to JW. It's time for some devestatingly solid good news. Given that we had a debt option sorted last December the current lack of positive news is very disappointing.
Calm down dears..........it's only a commercial!
All will be well very soon.....the news flow will start and this baby will be kicking off the brakes, screeching down the runway and climbing fast.......the drinks trolley will be around as soon as we have stabilised at 20,000 feet (or at least about 3p plus!) and all these woes will recede very fast into the distant past.
Dead right dawski37 & if I had the funds I would be happy to add another million today.
If someone has an agenda they will use any means possible to manipulate things given half the chance, just look at politicians, I have no doubt in my mind that Dawski respects the residence of IM and had zero intention of upsetting them.
IMO.
Thanks,Radders...just felt a bit bothered about allegations of "upsetting the locals" One really does have to see the state of the area around Ballylumford and the North Coast to understand where I am coming from ..The locals could well do with Infa's help over there ! onwards and upwards
Buys are coming in now Dawski .. must’ve been your post :) the power
A possible good time to buy ?? An Associate has added just 2m !!!
Wow...lootgaloot requires a firm response .." A non neutral holder " tells all ..just let me tell you politely that I have always tried to be respectful to the locals including Lisa ?? And was rebuked at the time for allowing her space ..I still Regard her comments as "objective" but others especially over the weekend disagree .
Now about comments about the state of Islandmagee .you very conveniently edited out the symbol "North " to which I was referring .In fact I should have referred to the state of the North Coast of the Island ..I stand by me words ..they do not reflect the residents but the appalling decay of the place and area especially around Ballylumford and the inlets .Abandoned facilities including a caravan park .A decaying cafe and toilet facility abandoned...From my travels the area needs either self help from the residents or the Government or (as I was suggesting) from Infa when we are eventually generating cash ..I come from a rural community myself in Shropshire and have a look again at the post as it was not the residents who were being described ...If you have never been to the North do go and have a look ....but I assume that you may be one of the community any way ..IMHO it's about time that some of the "proud locals" stepped up to the mark and allied with Infa as to what can be done ..quite a few have already but not enough .The price drop today is IMHO par for the course when there is and has to be a lack of actual positive news .I did warn of choppy seas ahead .So no offence to the locals and when you reread the post you will see where I was coming from and my worthy intentions ..hoping that this clears the air !!!
Looks like someone is bailing - hope it's not a board member!
I shall be fascinated (watching through my fingers from behind the sofa) to see how the H&W thing is pulled off, never mind the FSRU.
Its gone from 2p to 0.35 thats far more than a mini sell off.
Not happy. What going on? Sitting on two slumping shares today. This is bit dramatic tho’ (??!)
Leaked info?
Unless the story has changed = Buy on weakness
Always respect others how i been bought up
Whats going on here, has something leaked??
I think JW seriously needs to get the positive newsflow underway as soon as possible as there appears to be a mini sell off?
Mr T
SOMEthings not right here to have a drop like this .That will teach me to buy to early
