Hmm, surely "City" is worthy of a capital "C" (or perhaps not!)?
Lottie123 is correct about the dilution;
Share price x number of shares in issue = market cap - I am sure many on here don't understand that it is the last number that matters, not the first, honestly...
I spent 30 years as an investment banker in the city. Have bought and sold stakes in companies since the 1970s. I am telling you that this is a fantastic opportunity but...these clowns have diluted the **** out of the potential. H &W has drawn me to this company. I am totally behind the regional rejuvenation that shipping can offer. I am a realist thru and thru. I see opportunity but also poor fiscal management
Hey ho.
(I’ll be in my jammies & slippers - hoping coffee on the go at the hotel though lol)
Not sure how many will turn up at 6am on a Saturday - could be a canny move!
Board have been completely transparent and provided over and above what is required. Unless there is a genuine scientific challenge to Daera's guidelines then I fail to see how the licence cant be granted.
Well lets let the locals know the facts and not the scare mongery that the protesters peddle. A great time for Island Magee and Belfast residents, with a hope for a prosperous future.
Lottie in your history of 7 posts you continually rant on regarding loan notes, dilution etc, I find it prety difficult to believe you are invested at all, and if you are; then a rather silly investor as all that comes is negativity with a twist of optimism.
I would like to think "people are way underestimating the potential" here, but we are still going to need working capital to keep the lights on in the mean time. Hopefully the on-going ship contracts can keep H&W afloat. lol
For several years we have always had a placing around this time of year, just before the AGM.
JW, please make this year an exception. Think we are just about done with dilution.
As I said a few weeks back, circa .53p is an equivalent price to that 2p spike, given the dilution since. That's a 90% increase from here. To get to 2p would need over 600%. Good odds if your only just now buying in.
I've now got my average down to .66p from close on 14p. Eggs... basket, **** or bust. Whatever. Going to see this through.
Been here to long not too... :)
Given the enormous dilution already happened and the huge amount of further new shares from loan notes, warrants ect, making significant headway will be tough. However, if the government come thru on their 30year commitment to the shipbuilding industry and gas storage project gets the green light...who knows.
also remember we were nearly 2p last year! without H&W, I personally think people are way underestimating the potential, but time will tell.
Given the sectors we are in £70 mill could be one contract!
Radders
Quite right!
Bearing in mind that 2p would equal m/cap of roughly 70Mill, if H & W were fully up and running say towards the end og 2020 with the Gas Storage project having being started and construction under way, I would be amazed if we were not heading up towards 2p.
Mr T
Must admit - if we are only at 1p at the end of the year, assuming ML, FID, Funding in place, EU Funding, Contracts for H&W, Construction started - I for one would be incredibly disappointed
Just don't like the association with grave site and H&W...LOL
Radio 4 news item that protection agreement for protection of Titanic grave site will be announced today in N Ireland where ship built. Small item , all adds to positive exposure for H&W.
Now is the perfect time for everybody to invest in infra!
I’d be amazed if this wasn’t 1p by the end of the year.
BTB
You have got in at a great price Beware. My entry many years ago was 10p !! Currently averaging just under 0.8p. A tough year but does genuinely feel like next 3-6 months are going to be pivotal
It's a simple but good analysis. The core of investing is buying into companies that will be more profitable in the future years than they are today. The share price will catch up in time, we all believe this at least.
I made my first investment on fri after reading a lot of negative comments from this forum.
Why did i bother after reading the negativity?
The island Magee project is what has got me interested and the acquisition of Harland and wolff.
Is there a need for a gas storage facility?
There is a strong need for an alternative if the gas supplies run low and infra can definitely solve that problem.
Who will build the storage facility?
Infra will use Harland and Wolff to build it and will be able to keep a close eye on developments and costs.
I see a bright future and i believe now is a great time to invest in infra with the share price being so low.
Please Feel free to correct me if any of the info i have provided is incorrect.

Reminder there is only two weeks for Clive Richardson to come onboard.
Good find Chris.
Does this mean the funds are imminent?
Still a chance in any case and as I said before surely before 31 Jan 2020.
Mr T
I note that the EU match funded project was updated January 2020 see link below:

Thank you --most helpful --I missed that post but between you and good old Spud I now know what to do ...I agree that either at or before the AGM we need to have a rough idea of the extent of contracts being lined up for H&W in the next 12 months and some more certainty about Barrow and The E.U monies ..I repeat that we would never have been allowed anywhere near competing for H&W had we not had a plausible plan for the yard that was fully costed and achievable ! So expecting some good positive and rather more detailed news in the next fortnight ..
Hopefully there is far better contract work in the offing in the immediate future. The Stena work is short duration,( acouple of days in the dock for each of a few ships), and it is the same work which was been carried out last Spring before H& W went to the wall. I can't imagine that it will pay the running costs of H&W as it now constituted.
So we must expect to have news of important contracts in the immediate future.
