Interesting however
Whatamess. Regarding H&W contracts I've linked news that Bab**** are issuing more Type 31 contracts, in line with their original bid proposal and aligned with the National Shipbuilding Strategy.
https://securitynewsdesk.com/bab****-team-31-awards-supply-chain-contracts-for-type-31-frigate-programme/
Another link has former defence minister proposing, this week, inclusion of UK based SME's in the construction/supply of multi purpose and interchangeble "containers" for the type 31's. Certainly H&W are capable of building some of these. Let's hope Bab**** are including us in the next batch of contracts....

There is no date. Consultation ends on the 27th then daera make its recommendations ( no time scale, could be a few weeks ) then it goes to the minister and he can make a decision or bounce it round a few different committee's which again has no time scale. This is what I was told at the last public consultation by the daera rep present. Settle in for a long ride. Imo
Is pivotal, there can be no excuses now , no more fobbing ,
March will decide , infa a yes or no ,
Ml , eu money , h&w
Thing is Blair the fact that you like i have kept money in must mean you think it is worth the gamble to stay in and its swaying to the side that it will go ahead.
It really is an all or nothing share with the answer having to come one way or the other within weeks, but Boris speaking to the MSM and mentioning H&W gives me no extra confidence.
dawski37,
AIM beats to a different drum; the continued collapse of the INFA share price has nothing to do with Cov19...
"de-rampers", apologies.
Tonyh1975,
I am in almost exactly the same position as you, yet have received dog's abuse on this forum, ever since I had the temerity to suggest that JW is not the Messiah, rather that he is not just a naughty little boy, but he has done (likely irrevocable) damage to the investment of medium- and long-term share-holders. The level of disingenuousness, some might even say outright dishonesty, on display over the last 18 or so months from the senior management of INFA is quite something to behold.
Of course, in the eyes of the blind like the arrogant, rude Razor Shultz, who famously doesn't care about the share price (!), it is all the fault of the "MMs", the re-rampers like thee and me, the protestors, again like thee and me - anyone but the management.
The share-price does not lie, children. Everything else is just noise.
There has today been a change to the page below now added 'Last modified: March 2020' however it also says 'Status: Ongoing'
https://ec.europa.eu/inea/en/connecting-europe-facility/cef-energy/5.1.3-0036-uk-s-m-15
I believe it will not be long before an RNS update.
I sent a message to them this Monday afternoon per below but no reply yet:
'Dear XXXXX,
It is now 3 weeks since I received your reply on the 10th February & I note that the website is showing 'Ongoing'.
Is it likely the issues relating to this project will be completed soon or is there a problem.
With regards 'such information is published only after the administration closure is finalised' where can I find this.
Sorry to chase again but this is an important project for Northern Island & confirmation that funds can be released to
the Company would assist it in achieving its aims.
Thank you for your support in this matter.
Regards'
Razor whilst i'm most certainly not a protester you're clearly an idiot. Ppresumably a fool who has gambled more than you can afford to lose on Infrastrata.
Why the hell would i want to speak out against infa when i've put some of my hard earned money into the company, a couple of years ago i may add.
But if you think an off the cuff comment by Boris on a 5 month old interview is worth hanging your hat on, and betting your money on then good luck to you.
Really does show the intellect of some when a valid comment means i'm a protester.
I was expecting choppy seas in March ..but not Cov19 ---we certainly need some positive news by the end of the month or early April to help overcome the swell on this interrupted voyage --Hatches firmly down for a while I fear !!
I agree. Tony, lottie, Blair, and Goup probably think they're fooling someone here when they aren't. The protesters, dissenters, and any other detractors can spam this board up with their poor derision all they want and we can just sit here laughing because I'm topping up at every chance I get, and JW is steering this company well towards all its goals. Very happy to wait the downturn out and enjoy an explosive recovery.
Like Buffett once said, be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.
Bit worrying if shareholders of this company are using a 5 month old interview where Boris Johnson makes an off the cuff comment about H&W.
Id call that grasping at straws.
BlairP.
Sorry to say I don't share any of your often derisive comments here. So in response to your post to Dawski, I counter with this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZoef-sCB9c
Boris Johnson PM, on BBC news N.Ireland, 26th Sept 2019:
“If you look at what were doing in Northern Ireland, I might also mention Harland and Wolff where we have big plans to take that fantastic, historic business and take it forward.”
Everything will come to those who wait.............
And yet I am told that the EU funds are payable, irrespective of the decision re the marine licence?
They would be crazy to pay ahead of the marine licence decision now.
Surely the contract that H&W is waiting for, is the one for many millions to assist in building the caverns.
The eu haven't coughed up ,
I would say it's odds on they won't now , it's gone on too long
Irish Ferries ‘Dublin Swift’ Back In Belfast Ahead Of Dry Docking

NB: Previously posted & yes the article was from 2017 which I corrected apologise for that.

BTB
Jw tweet indicates h&w have lots of work lined up ,reading between the lines .
John said ......The arrival of Dublin Swift is the start of a busy period in the Belfast dry dock at Harland and Wolff, we have been juggling dates to keep all our new clients happy. #INFA creating jobs and creating economic growth.
Wrong year - more haste less speed.
Harland and Wolff creating jobs as it secures contracts:

PS All fingers & thumbs
Boris loves projects , he will give h&w a contact , he loves firms like this and jcb .
Can't see opposition to getting the whole project moving ,
If only he would hurry up
