Be nice to see an armada at the Belfast docks awaiting H&W engineers!
See Carnival SP up 20% on Friday, as there was an announcement that AIDA its European arm is looking to get the ships back on the seas for the remainder of 2020.
Hopefully green shoots for the industry.

Bombardier cutting 2.5k jobs globally, mainly Canada at the minute but worrying times for the NI workforce I think.
Great post dawski37 & lets hope that June becomes for all of us long term investors the month when we get final approval for the ML.
It sure has had a significant impact upon our voyage as well as on all our lives .....a bit like a hurricane whipping up the seas to a frenzy and by no means not over yet. Most Government Departments are in a mess including the Probate Section ( delays of up to 3 months as reported in The Times today ),the Passport Office and of course other departments that we know well !....Not sure about good old Daera but hopefully they would have been able to assimilate a lot of the information before Lockdown and still be "on the ball."
News in today that Covid is significantly affecting prospects for Bombardier next door to H&W -They employ just under 3,000 workers.Their establishment is basically a satellite facility for other bigger units elsewhere .JW and team secured H&W on the premis of a plan for increasing the workforce and providing apprenticeships over a period ..he had a plan not just short term asset stripping ..should Bombardier fail then there is more reason for N.I.Gov. support for our project .Covid is a disruptor for sure but here there is an opportunity .Watch this space. Hold tight !!
YES, That 5mill could have been a buy also..
Tango1, thankfully you were 20 mill out
So, who or what did you rob Lottie?
Should we be concerned?
:)
Of course it matters who is selling. If it is an institution with prior knowledge of a failed ML you are looking at a 75% fall in the share price. If it's a distressed seller for other reasons, all well and good. I have seen insider dealing throughout my career as a robber, market maker and sales trader. It happens
If I was going to whinge it would be for the lack of The Chairman's direction, Supposed to be all singing and dancing but more of a steady Waltz thus far!
It matters not who is selling as there could be a multitude of reasons, If you ain't happy sell end of!
I will not sell for at least 2 years. time for a company to grow into a corporation!
This large seller was clearly not done. The size of position being liquidated pre the licence decision has dented my confidence.
Somebody needs to promote the H&W twitter account, if you call it h&w promote it.
With its history you can't call it anything else
Longlad, the ship we have docked ATM is one of theirs.
Just reading through the comments on that linked in post, one was from the operations manager at https://www.seatruckferries.com/seatruck-fleet which of course means little in itself but good to know that the industry is aware we are open and capable.
GLA
I predict a 25mill sell after 16:30 :)

Let's hope the coffers are building twice as fast :-)
Posted a day ago - JW linked in post “It’s good to see Clipper Arrow in our main dock at #harlandandwolff, the first vessel to have docked here for many years. It brings into focus how large and strategic this dock is and the multiple vessels that can be docked concurrently to increase our capacity during peak periods of demand.
When it leaves next week it will be closely followed by a short docking for essential repairs to a vessel.
The momentum is certainly starting to build again, which is very encouraging.
...what a wonderful Group of Risk Takers !! The Webby Site certainly is overdue for an update as Steven is not shown and of course the total amount of shares floating ?? about out there is understated .Not sure of the cost of updating more frequently so if there is a cost factor am not that bothered ....just at present !!
There has been 62mill over the last few weeks of sell trades 5mill+ so maybe a bit left....40mil maybe
well we can see what's holding it back!
I have it on good authority that the majority of all the early trades are also buys.
The 3.3m trade at 8.15 is a buy
