Theres cerrainly some valuable posters on here ,many thanks for info made me make a decision to buy in here in my isa for the med/long term rewards ,ill keep adding till I have a decent amount ,many thanks ..
Thanks dawski37 always the font of knowledge that this site needs & yes I do hope the smaller dock can soon be operational as the achilles heel of H&W will have been having to try & keep the site properly maintained in times of pre administration when money would have been tight.Onwards & upwards.
Stena Europe is one of the line's favourite now vintage ships.Built as long ago as 1981 in Gothenburg Sweden she is truly an "old faithful". Her recent maintenance history is not without incident. In March 2019 The Turkish Gemek Shipyard secured a contract to give the ship "a life extension "refit. This essentially involved enabling higher density trailers to use all of the ship, not just the port side on the usual route Fishguard to Rosslare. Something went wrong with the contract, something to do with lack of availability of specialist parts ! She did not return to service until early Autumn 2019 .Fancy having to send "the old girl" all the way past Gibralter to the Bosphorous ..should have gone to Belfast .. Anyhow Stena now know better and she will be on her way probably tomorrow as currently she is approaching Fishguard ...by the way, the NI Ferries Site indicates that she will dock in the main Building Dock not the smaller Dry Dock due to an issue with the gate at the latter ..sincerely hope that this in not serious or indeed expensive !! Need to Watch this one.But good news in that Stena are well on board...Stena Europe will be "high maintenance " due to age !!

Current position Stena Europe expected in H&W this week coming.
https://www.vesselfinder.com/?p=1755
Edit: I believe based on JW tweets & the new H&W Website plus the increased traffic into H&W docks in addition the highly anticipated ML update sometime this month that we are finally on the cusp of something great not only in terms of SP improvement but work for NI.
A company that can trade under the current circumstances should be at a premium value provided all overheads can be covered.
INFA must now be on many investors radar realising its great potential Mondays opening position on AIM may be a good indication of that.
I fully expect the docks to be full the rest of the year, operators are going to need to ensure they are on the water 100% when lockdown is lifted to start clawing the money back, so getting it done now while idle.
Anyone able to see Stena Europe on VesselFinder....I can't...NOTE..I also found several other speeling mostooks on the H&W website...reported them...
H AND W shipyard in it a lot
I noted similar info back at the end of last year when the H&W thing was starting to happen.

What can I say, Si.....I'm invested!
On a separate matter I've dug up another article which may answer other posters previous questions regarding the value of H&W contracts. It's from 2016, so adjust for inflation to apply to the current similar sized contract for Stena........

That almost reads like an advert for Infa there Speedy.
Stupendous ship sluething on this board. Well done all.
One in, one out. Keep 'em coming. :)
As Arrow departs it seems Stena Europe is inbound for a 2 week dry docking. Keep em coming!

JW just tweeting:
Clipper Arrow leaving the dock today after compleating our longest docking to date in the recently reactivated large dock. The largest dry dock in the UK by a large margin at 556m

Arrow has finally left for open seas now to wait for the next one.
PS: Tug currently in dock.
Sorry, link appears to be pay-walled.
If you enter "shovel-ready projects" into a well-known search engine, the article should be visible.
I know of one...

Any significance in timing of new H&W website?
Edit: In addition who expects news on ML next week or week after or not this month.
PS Arrow is still in dock but no other vessels.
Excellent website and i nearly bought another million shares last night if it wasn’t for the dow jones tanking like it did it put me off!

'Totally agree watch this move on ML,indeed them cranes are pretty impressive ,the extra land might come in handy if they start shipbuilding again
So agree the new H&W website looks very impressive & would have taken some time to put together & thought into how they project themselves.H&W clearly are ready for expanding the business we just need the ML & then watch the SP.
Agreed.. Dynamic and Progressive.. am particularly impressed with the cover or header photo which depicts/ includes a large area of industrial estate outside our boundaries.. but feel free to correct me if I am wrong!!
Typo on the cranes bit though, states 9ft at 40m should be 9t as in tonnes not feet!!!
It certainly does!
Tango, apols typo ,yes agree with you there in the future there's no read on it won't be once everything is signed off imho
