Just noticed yesterdays RNS re. Killik reducing also. Sold 8.7m.
I also clicked on a few other links and saw that they were spending £40m on upgrades to the container terminal.
All good for the area as a whole.
Some more info on the proposed museum JW mentioned back along, will be interesting, if it's part of this transformation.
Looking at the pictures TTNY posted yesterday from Belfast Docks, it was interesting to look further into their site as they seem to be spending a lot of money on the docks (New cargo cranes etc), Transforming the area has got to be good for H&W (more traffic etc)..
Morning Si- yes I think it is hard not to see the work INFA is doing to help NI business, So should not go un-noticed and any support for INFA will be to the benefit of NI and it's people.
Fickle lot these ii's, Tango. Apparent sticky holders but so far, from placing, one has sold out, one has reduced and one has bought more.
The could be enough positivity on " the Vikings are coming" news for another attempt of .45p but to maintain the rise, and hold it above those levels, I think we may need some more substantive news. IMO
Impressive pics of the ships in dock though. Must have created quite a buzz around town.
That must please the powers that be. You know, the ones that make the final desicions on funding, licences and such. ;)
Morning all, Seen the drive in at H&W on the One show yesterday, Did not realise there was so much land around the factory, should pose no problems to expand if needed..
Tango, morning yes agree a steady newsflow would help push the price along
As long as there is no II's with itchy fingers, I would expect a steady climb to the ML news and Results, we may even get some news on the FSRU partners. But the market is a fickle place and without news we do tend to drift.
Loosegoose, morning yes I think with everything infra has going on atm this is a steal at this low price imho ,med/long term rewards here imho
Anyone think we can hold in the 0.40s today? For me the cruise liner news on Monday is not just a one off but more of a longer term signal that the business influx is sustainable going forward. Hope the market sees if the way I see it.
Nice big trade after bell shows confidence imho
AP. Good to see you "onboard" the forum again. I always valued your most informative posts prior to takeover.
The profitable work of the 3 viking liners is surely a great chance to show other cruise industry players the calibre of the new H&W. Lets all hope the yard and management do a great job......
Hope you can find time to post more frequently.
Here's a few more pics from Belfast Cruise Ship Watch Facebook page.

I've pasted below a link to the Belfast Harbour Facebook page. It's an impressive sight to see 3 the Viking Cruise ships in Belfast.

Dont forget there is warrants at 5p due to expire in less than two years, does that not tell you where they think it's heading !!!
agreed .. if you got in at the current lows I’m sure will be welcome, but for most LTH’s 1p with a Marine Licence, FID, Funding and Full order Book for H&L would be hugely disappointing
I'd be disappointed if this was only as low as 1p by year end dhub. The potential here (imho) is mind blowing. With Islandmagee, H & W and Barrow all major game changers we could be in for some amazing future figures.
JW's business acumen and his ambition for INFA really does have me excited as to where this share could go. Obviously we'll need the business partners to move forward and again JW and the board seem to be mixing in the company of some big hitters in the business world, Navantia, Vitol, etc.
I'm just hoping the financials will be there to take this ambition and these projects to the heights they could go to.
Surely this will be 1p later this year!!!
It may be a blessing in disguise, as I am sure there will be a lot of cruise ships wanting to get maintenance done before the bookings start rolling in, so we need the floor space- then move on to some decommissioning.
Wander if P&O will be onboard with H&W?
Good to see that John has secured some profitable work for the yard.
It is only a starter for 10 imho.
The sad part of the oil price recovery is that it may delay the decommisioning work that will surely come our way one day.
In the meantime, it is great to see an upturn in business.

Three massive ships for several weeks for upgrade and maintenance-- KER CHING!
Fantastic to welcome three cruise vessels to Harland and Wolff today from Viking Cruises, the first time three sisters have been alongside in H&W for several decades.
The vessels will be with us for several weeks as repairs and upgrade works are undertaken. #cruiseindustry

Yes but i wont be counting any chickens until its in the bank.
This kind of money may not be so easy to come by in strange times such as this, but then again these strange times may make it easier to get this money thanks to the magic money tree that is looking for shovel ready projects.
Ive been in for 2.5 years and still an all or nothing punt for me, not sure it'll get to 10p in the coming years; unless they start delivering other peoples food or something productive like that!
All three now docked.

Strange time for the "Unknown" Seller to plunge in ...yesterday --we shall see !! May be distressed--I certainly would be had I sold before the Nordic invasion !
