Surprised you think that t bh ,but good luck with your other investments ,it's a tough market out there atm
Si, my sentiments entirely, can’t help but think that the ML can will be kicked down the proverbial road for a good while yet. Deeply frustrating and most disappointing
Well, I thought at the start of the year that I would give it till my birthday, today, for news on the ML till I got out and waited on the sidelines. So many things have changed in the last six months and some have not moved at all.
Even though I've reduced I'm still holding in the hope that somthing may transpire.
Sadly nothing has, besides H&W going great guns.
Got quite a high breakeven so kinda think I might leave some in and go play elsewhere.
Gutted TBH
GLA, Si. :)
It is not a case of "going against" anything or anybody, it is about the greater good, if the positives the project will bring is greater than the negatives it will go ahead. IMHO DYOR..
i agree Cookie H&W has great potential- but which comes first .
The ML could fail and SP drop . If you look at the NI Marine Trust submission to the consultation, they have powerful ECO and wildlife contributors asking awkward questions. It will be a brave politician to go against that.
I might sell now on the gamble of the above scenario coming first.
Then buy on the knowledge that good news coming that will dramatically raise the SP
Floating terminal apols typo
Willy,5p warrants suggest they going to be a success here imho as for yhe floating tetmibal they have bought £6 million ,the gorund is clear at Barrow ready imho ,H&W will not only see ships heading into dock for maintenance /repairs theres a very good chance they could see shipbuilding for the first time Iin many years ,keep an eye on the british governments decision on navy ship building contracts which are being brought forward as the government want to get people back into work ....
Agree there
Tango,agree thete
The Calm Before the storm.
It's OK for short term quick deals, no fees but spreads are sometimes way out of whack and a bit of CFD but I wouldn't be using it as a serious platform for investing loads of money.
I know this 2,5 million Stena contract news has been posted here a few days ago but heres some great photos of H & W and Stena ship in dock from that news item.

There are several possible opportunities in the pipeline.
1/ Harland and Wolfe is a excellent long term project with possibilities for market reaction with every ship that passes by.
2/ Islandmagee Gas Storage Project is awaiting the results of submission for a marine license to proceed. Strong Eco groups against. 50/50
3/ FSRU project -floating storage and regasification units . No news

3 an 1 go together as harbour facilities are a requirement
3 seems to be a alternative to 2.
All of which could spell success or failure. Timing is the key to your investment.
if any of 2 and 3 individually fail and the other is then a success then the SP could have a 'V' dive and recovery.
If both fail then the stock would have to have some really good news from number 1.
Alternatively there is the fav in the 3.30 at Goodwood.
In for 1M at .3947 let see it climb now!!
Thanks for the advice, i will have a look into these today. Mrninjazx8 this is really useful! You say you use 212 for quick trades so you'll know although its very easy to navigate a lot of companies aren't supported on it so i feel i should branch out. Thanks again.
I use interactive investor (that's not to say you should too just 1 example. Others are Hargreaves lands Downe, Halifax share dealing) I also use 212 for smaller quick flip trades.
Hope that helps.
Frank's not here, ATM. But IMO it's just dilution and delays.
I am considinginvesting in this company proably next month after doing my research. One thing that I would like to know is can anybody tell me why the share price is so low? While a low share price could be a good opportunity to buy in cheap it could also be a warning. Can I ask for a frank assessment as to why the share price is so low.
Speedy, morning nice find there ,thanks for link ...
FSS should go to a UK consortium/shipyard and competition resumed sooner............good news for Team Resolute.

Cheers, ill find one in the next day or two :)
So, just change.
So many online brokers out there. just DYOR.
Good luck. :)
Based in the UK Si Derman, its just a trading application but its pretty limited in terms of what it has available
TBH, never heard of 212. Realy depends where you are in the world?
