'Nice picture to reflect on, six months after we purchased Harland & Wolff in Belfast.
The next couple of months will see numerous dry docking’s and alongside repairs, from various clients old and new.
The progress we have made in such a short period of time is testament to the hard work that the entire team have put in, ensuring a first class service for our clients. #harlandandwolff'

Edit: This is a very positive post by JW & bodes well for the future for H&W & long term investors.
INFA was one of “ The Shares of The Year” as recommended by the Sunday Times ....... in 2001 when over a £1 per share and Andrew Hindle was exciting us all about Gas Storage in Salt Caverns on Portland Bill. Then known as Portland Gas Plc. Exiting times and a real roller coaster since but never so promising as now .. especially with Hydrogen about to explode!!.. Very Attractive!
For me BT I initially came for the massive growth potential as I seen it.
In my SIPP I have various funds managed by the investment specialists as I see them, fund managers in the likes of Jupiter, Invesco, M & G, Schroders, etc. I however like to research and play with a few pounds in 4 or 5 very very speculative punts myself. With these monies I don't want some investment that could do plus or minus 15 or 20% p/a. I want something that could do 5 or 10 fold within a few years or could equally go under. I call them my boom or busters and normally only have a grand or two in each. The shares I've bought and sold in this category are usually pharma research, mining and exploration and higher risk commodity stocks.
This is how I came to be in INFA. I seen them as a good candidate as a boom or buster in my portfolio and being an NI focused share this added additional local interest for me living here. This was the time when they were a one trick pony with the Islandmagee project and prior to the EU monies being received and ML application being submitted.
What's changed for me is that I don't see them now as a 'buster' now, but still see the massive 'boom' potential spread across several areas, IM, H & W and Barrow.
I've subsequently increased my holding quite a bit in INFA and am excited about where this share could go.
Long winded explanation of how I came to be in INFA, but there you go, lol.
Hopefully we might get a few more stories of how us folk came aboard the good ship INFA.
.......... Catching the Crabs !! in Orkney, all well and good to combat the dreaded Sturgeon....We now need him to have a photo shot at H&W not just to cement the Union with N.I. but to bolster his stated faith in U.K. Nationwide Shipbuilding. It would be opportune to do this sooner than later whislt the Vikings are with us.By the way,Chris,a fantastic arial shot in your last post ..just what I hade hoped to see !!
It was the H & W venture/acquisition that attracted me to this company. and I am pleased that we have started earning some dosh. It would be great if this shipyard could regain some of it's previous world status, there is ample scope and we seem to be off to a good start.
As for the other two projects, Is landmagee and Barrow I am not too sure, there are quite a few pondurables and not much meat on the bone yet to my thinking.
I also like the appointments of the new chairman with his background and connections we should be able to get some good work to set the wheels in motion.
What was it that attracted other holders to this share?
It is possible to be an INFA investor without being a JW (aka Phoenix) fanboi...
These three sister cruise ships fit into our yard with plenty of space to spare - more to follow soon!

Edit: Great picture of the three vessels at H&W today.
Thanks for the post ThisTime NextYear either way what matters is that 4 more vessels due into H&W in the coming months.Thanks.
Sorry, I misread the page re 4 drydocking next month. There's 2 dry docking next month and 2 more to follow.
Info from niferry website re 4 Stena dry dockings next month.

Tony. Please try not to be too easily fooled by the tactics employed here by the protest camp. Marine82, Blair Peach, MSC Europe, Capdevila...check their post histories, you'll notice how they chime.
Marine did give points that were notable.
Those comments you state came after writing "in my opinion".
But as i say whatever he/she writes is not "imo" going to affect the company or the share price.
Tony- so JW is only in it to maintain his lifestyle- and the ML wont be worth the paper it is written on??? I would say Marines comments are neither constructive/Factual or a point for debate; they are an obvious attempt to deramp.
I thought Marine82 gave fair comment, would seem unless you say the share price is going to the moon then you've some kind of agenda to bring down the company.
Anyone thinks a person writing such a comment on a webforum is going to do that is being rather silly.
Blah blah blah blah blah!
Listening to all that has convinced me that big contracts are ready to be signed and the share price is about to rocket.
Hold on to those shares This deramper Is making his or her move,
Do not fall for it!
BTB
I hope that was Marine82's "Swan Song"- being a bit predictable now!
The Vikings are very much being worked on, not full refit or dry docking (yet). There is plenty of good news in the pipeline. -M82 is welcome to free speech and to be sceptical about his/her own investments: particularly after a self confessed fails on AIM. HnW have Stena, valuable work for such a great engineering community.
Simple question, why are you invested in INFA?
The answer to your first question is easy........the Viking ships are parked in Belfast as it costs a hell of a lot of less to tie up a ship in Belfast than in Norway.
They are brand new ships built in 2017-18 and will only need a dry docking if there is warranty works to undertake. None of these ships have been dry docked In Belfast as yet but having them parked up would definitely helped drum up interest when JW was punting the company out to the IIs. The PIs invested in this company have played their part and its over to the IIs to provide the funds to move this company forward. Everyone knows this company is skint hence the new cash call which I called weeks before only to receive a load of abuse from the JW puppets and clowns who frequent this forum.
The reality in my opinion is the ML may come but it will be granted with that many restrictions it won’t be worth the paper it is written on. JW knew this long ago and quickly needed another revenue stream to maintain his lifestyle, hence the reason he bought the shipyard promising all kinds of work that was apparently in the pipeline. Outside of the Viking ships there hasn’t been a client brought into the yard that wasn’t already a client prior to the shipyard going into administration. In the meantime he has raised £15million to fund this purchase.......
Hi folks .. is a there anyone there today or indeed this week ?!!
Need to start a blog as per the header so let’s here from you as I know that you are there and hiding ! Here’s just a couple to get started:
1. Why exactly are the Vikings with us ? Is is marine overhauls such a bottom scraping. Propeller alignment... or Post Covid compliance work to the facilities on board etc?
2. How best can we use IM for Hydrogen Storage as the gas seems to be the flavour of the Times now ?
Next please ......
Alk i can say is that i think the government will buy british or irish not french when we out eu imho
https://www.montelnews.com/en/story/terega-and-hdf-launch-hydrogen-storage-project-in-france/1131998
Thought we might have, had a few more holding notifications by now
I would say there is more chance that Warren "Buffet the stock market slayer" is our equity partner, than the ML being released before August- I predict the sequence will be:
1, GM- all resolutions passed
2, Major H&W contract announced.
3, ML released with Caveat.
AIMHOBIKFA
gp, you have been saying , ml, this week, every week since the PC finished.
One week you will be right, or not. :)
