Infa are getting in on the act see this https://twitter.com/InfraStrata_Plc/status/1311596159979474944 Back to my meeting.
Can sell 70k shares for 35p (Halifax)
I must admit, you would have to be deluded if you did not think a major contract for the Navy is not very near. IMHO
Check out HMP Weare built by Consafe and anchored in Portland Dorset until 2005 eventually sold to Nigeria
Perhaps checking out facilities for the government's latest half baked plan is to convert ferries to house asylum seekers!
So far this week there have been visits from the Royal Navy, The NI Chamber of Commerce and Bank of Ireland then the Secretary of State. With all these visitors I would expect an announcement of some sort as these do not sound like the kind of people who would visit just to feel the sea air.

Happy Birthday Tango. :)
I don't think so pacman, the Stena ship is shown dry docked in an earlier tweet
Forgive me for ignorance, but are they the doors from Belfast dry dock in background?
Great to welcome guests from Tanya Anderson from @NIChamberand Niall Devlin from @bankofireland

The latest update on Ferry movements https://www.niferry.co.uk/stena-vinga-arrives-in-ireland-for-the-first-time/
Thanks Stokey, so basically it will be in the new year for an update (past couple of years it's been published in January). That's a long time for me to wait impatiently lol. I might utilise that email address although if writing reports detracts from mega contract signings I suppose I can wait
Jabido In relation to your 10.21 post about a month back I did email the Interim Director of Marketing and Communications at INFA her email address can be found under Meet the Team on the Harland and Woolf website. If youn go through my post history you will find her reply. In short no update until the Annual Report.
Either theories are promising I think. TTNY,, I greatly appreciate your ship spotting so thank you. However don't be giving JW anymore ideas for future projects! I think I draw the line at trains, unless they are hydro powered and we have found a way to fill the caverns with profitable hydrogen lol. On a separate note, past couple of days have seen lots of companies release half yearly reports /updates. Surely we should be getting one imminently too?!?
MajorThomas1 In relation to your 09.55 post I had a similar thought excpet in my case I was thinking that perhaps depending on how large his discretionary spend is the Cmdr was looking for a shipyard he could spot purchase repairs to vessels. The other possibility is that they are looking to train apprentices for thier shipyards. Both just speculation we will have to wait and see.
Maybe pure speculation but as part of any tender process it is normal for client reps to review the facilities etc. of the bidders as part of the tender process.
Maybe the commander and the captain were on such a visit. Maybe INFA are in the final stages of a tender process for MOD projects.
I see on the Belfast harbour website that Stena Superfast VIII is due to leave on 2nd October and Superfast VII is due to dry dock on 3rd October.
It's always good to see the docks being utilised without any gaps in ships present.
(Oceanex Connaigra is scheduled to leave on 6th October).
Apologies if my ongoing posts of shipping movements are sometimes tedious and any comments or thoughts such as 'saddo ship spotter' will be taken on the chin. I draw the line at train spotting though (unless INFA decide there's money in working on them there locos).

Nice fact find stokey12. That article alludes to the fact he is the most senior royal navy officer in NI? I can't imagine he's there just for a nostalgic tour of the company that built the titanic ;)
Jabido In relation to your 18.49 post I googled Cmdr Patterson RN who was one of the two officers on the visit.I came across this article https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/carrickfergus-named-as-venue-for-armed-forces-day-2021-39389493.html when you note his post the fact that he took the time to go on a visit makes me think he did not just want a day out. The other officer appears as if he may have been a personnel officer.
As per official twitter feed. Good to see :)
TTNY. Yea sounds familiar, you go in for an oil change and come out with a whole new back axle!!
Tango and jfk, I also find the silence a bit odd when thinking about the past number of comments when similar events happened. Could be that we are just tired of living under the wet blanket that DAERA has thrown over us by taking more than 6 months to reach a proposal. Maybe we are just too busy watching ships come in and go out while we wait patiently for some bigger jobs. Whatever the reasons for the silence on the gas market considering world events, we do know the external market remains favourable and the volatility in prices bodes well for the storage business model.
jfk9, I think that people are deafened by the silence regarding the ML, But it is very good news and the gas price seems to be doing what was predicted, storage is going to be key to mitigate future threats, be it beasts from the east or international arguments. IMHO
Is this the conclusion of the cryptic tweet the other day (More details to follow)?
Amazing.
