Chrisatrdg - In relation to your 15.32 post the tweet on this which has since been taken down has been mentioned. I have emailed the Interim Head of Marketing and Communication to complain about the lack of an RNS. ThisTimeNextYeer did make the fair point that it is doubtful if an RNS would normally be required. My argument for saying there should have been one is that only people on Twitter or Facebook will see it.
I do note that while the tweet has been removed the item on the website has not. I wonder if we will get an RNS in the next coyple of days putting more meat on the bones. On the point about the number of vessels that have come into the yard among the 17 would be the Oceanex which has been in for close on 4 months so looks like INFA will break even at worse this year.
Lol setanta, we mostly all have criticisms of how things have panned out but you have to admit the prospects for h&w as highlighted by the recent uptrend in pr from the company is something to start getting excited about. It's not islandmagee, but I am thankful we have h&w to be optimistic about in the immediate future. Hope you are well
................Seller <<<<<<<<<< has popped up again today at 13.31 --slightly worrying despite the rise yesterday unexpectedly in the absence of any concrete news still though perhaps because of that rise --otherwise the increasing news flow from H&W by Social Media is most welcome and thanks to all for updating nearly every day now ..as you say no need for such to be by RNS as they do cost quite a bit to prepare and publish obviously !!
" double the number of trades". I blame the excitement!
For INFA ? Not ! That is unless you're a member of the Watch Paint Dry Club ! when the number of posts here is double the number of posts isn't it a very cauldronn of excitement? I wonder what happened to the Marine licence> Exciting, what!
Not sure if a direct link has already been posted but here we go link below:
A BELFAST YARD UPDATE: A MESSAGE FROM PERRY KENNEDY, INTERIM MANAGING DIRECTOR
https://www.harland-wolff.com/news/a-belfast-yard-update-a-message-from-perry-kennedy-interim-managing-director/
Edit: I am surprised that this is embedded within the H&W web page & not an RNS update a subject I know from earlier posts has already been discussed.
If they have got rid of the Chairman there would have to be an RNS, or get a hefty fine....
Looks like the tweet has been removed........
I have just been looking at this page https://www.harland-wolff.com/meet-the-team/ as it seemed to be short of a few people. One person who is missing is the Chairman. There does not appear to be any Non Exec Directors. Also they seem to have got rid of the Directors of Business Development I presume this was as a cost cutting exercise.
That's true Stokey. I'm a good example of that, lol. I never really could get into Twitter and haven't used it to date.
That's why it's also good that yourself and a lot of other folk share info here. All info shared is appreciated.
Re RNS's. I know there's a cost for companies to issue these, but does anyone here know what the actual approximate costs are ? Lottie maybe , or any other financial folk here with experience or knowledge of these costs ?
ThisTimeNextYeer In relation to your 13.39 post having checked the H&W website I am slightly less concerned as the update is also on the website. But needs to be remembered that not everyone is on twitter or facebook.
Hi Stokey - I saw your response - in line with previous Project Updates maybe could have been an RNS .. however my optimistic hat maybe thinks there is a more substantive one coming soon
My thoughts Stokey are that this info wouldn't need a regulatory RNS and therefore INFA don't need or want to go to the financial expense of issuing one.
17 vessels through the Yard isn't any new news to release as this info is widely known. 6 vessels booked in in next 4 months, although good news, I wouldn't envisage this being RNS-able unless one or some of these was a considerable size contract.
As for the workforce up to 200, I wasn't aware of this number and this is very positive, however on it's own, maybe not worthy of an RNS.
What is good to see is what seems like a bit more news flowing recently from INFA and H & W. These Tweets and Facebook posts give us a better idea of what's happening on the ground.
Radders99 In relation to your 12.22 post I was just going to post this. I have tweeted to ask why this was not done by a RNS. The two key takeaways for me is that the workforce has almos trippled from 69 to 200 in under a year. Also 17 vessels have gone through the yard so far with another six due within the next four months.

Tango1 In relation to your 08.22 post my understanding is he is not going to outline all 10 points of his plan. He will only outline the wind turbine part. Having said that I know a place that has a large fabrication hall that could fabricate the parts for them.
INFA are now perfectly positioned to assist and benift from the UKs Post Brexit transition to indigenous heavy engineering and a net zero carbon economy.
Gas storage leading into hydrogen storage / generation at Islandmagee.
Construction of new fleet solid support ships in Belfast and Appledore.
Construction and shipment of offshore wind turbines for UKCS in Belfast and Appledore.
I can't see any company better positioned. Hopefully this translates into growth in revenues, profits and share price.
Si-Derman, £80m each for Appledore and Belfast would be nice ;-)

Things are looking good!

Was just reading that on the beeb online, Tango. " the prime minister will pledge £160m to upgrade ports and factories for building turbines."
Tango1 In relation to your 07.09 post that is possible as it is shown as going to V4N from SRQ whre it departs at 11.30. It would appear to be loading before going so it is concievable that it is dropping off supplies before loading up to go on its next journey. Three hours would indicate a quick repair.
BJ to outline the plan for a green revolution today, I think he already knows we can offer wind turbines gas and hydrogen storage, companies like Infrastrata could be central to his plans IMHO
Is keewhit not just dropping off oil supplies?
The Keewhit is making a three and half visit to SRQ arrived at 06.02 this morning and is due to move out at 09.45. The most interesting thing about this is that it is the first non ferry company client of INFA that I have seen.
I am not suggesting sellers are a bad thing, I am pointing out that in the last few trading sessions, the positive news has attracted buyers amounting to several percent of the share capital. Without solid momentum, a share can often stall. If a positive trend with new highs cannot be established with positive sentiment, it will languish when things go quiet. That is exactly what this large seller has created.
