Loosegoose In relation to your 14.22 post I am just hoping that the interim results are not too good as I need the market not too notice how cheap these shares are until the annual results so I can grab a bundle of shares. Anything over £29m will clear the retained deficit and allow dividends to be paid. At which point the share price might readjust to fair value.
Agree Loosegooose. Even without the potential Islandmagee upside this looks cheap at £25m.
Looking at the ship model, 4 have previously been built, by a company since taken over by bab****. Let's hope we can work with them on the new ones. I imagine they hold intellectual rights to the design etc. Brought to you by Wikipedia, search barzam class attack ships for those interested
Current market cap is only 25m. At a very conservative PE of say 8 to 10 time, then only 2.5m to 3m free cash flow is needed per year to support this valuation. 17 ships through the yard so far in a short space with bigger contracts to follow. Renewables sector will deliver in the next 3 or 4 months and then there is the probable / possible gas storage. Not hard to figure out that 25m is rather low given the probable future cash flows.
Let's hope so. We know there is a loan, we know there are 8 ships of which the first 2 will be built in the UK. Would be more efficient to have both built at the same yard. How many yards can handle that?
Loosegoose In relation to your 13.34 post we can but hope.
Maybe something will come our way. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-ukraine-navy/ukraine-secures-1-25-billion-from-uk-to-build-military-vessels-idUKKBN26S1SM
You will more than likely be proven correct Tango.
The ML award will probably see them infest this board as they have done with many others before.
I really hope not. But yes it is probably inevitable.
Exactly Major Thomas1, Though Setanta1 portrays this as a negative, I find it very encouraging that the pump and dumpers are keeping away (for how long I don't know). I actually don't think this stock would be considered to go short on, because of all the possible positive things that could happen at any point. As soon as we do get what we are waiting for we will get the pumping and dumping brigade as it is unavoidable. aimho
True, this isn't your average aim pump and dump sort of company.
INFA is wel positioned to capitalise on the increased focus on indigenous gas, hydrogen, ship building and renewables.
Steady progress, revenue and profit growth will attract the serious investors and IMO drive our valuation North.
If business rates were stopped during periods of consultation I'm sure the process would speed up. The system is antiquated
Another exciting day for INFA,(like so many over the past couple of years). Today posts2 and trades2.
If You want to win with INFA you must be prepared to think of profit in years rather than in months. Untypical for AIM devotees.
Nothing to do with you Jabido, Aim investors invest in the story and the potential and we are all here now, the big movers and shakers invest in the fundamentals and as yet we have had nothing to change the bottom line, as soon as something significant is announced that is revenue orientated then the big boys will take over leaving us minnows to take our profits. IMHO
I would like to apologise to all invested for my recent remarks around momentum of the share price. I knew full well that as soon as I mentioned it and showed optimism due to the share price increase, that the momentum would cease and the share price drop. I promise to never again jinx the price and if I fail, I will ban myself from the board for 48 hours.
Re daera, I think they are too scared to make the recommendation. I can't understand why else they have not made one by now. Hopefully Brandon Lewis can push them along quickly
Seem to be going up month on month, The ML project could be very profitable, the sooner we get them built the sooner we can take advantage, Come on DAERA stop faffing around and grow a pair.
There was also a sell for £56k on the closing bell on Friday.
Just comings and goings. Nowt to worry about. imo
Plenty of bigish buys to soak 'em up.
But, 13:32 seems significant to someone.
Ha Ha !! Good one and you could be right as profit taking is what we are all about ... sadly I am not Mr Big nowadays and am here for the long term .. like you all ?!! Salivating over the prospects for off shore wind farm work including new floating structures!!
TTNY, It Might be Dawski selling..... food for thought!
I agree Dawski that that 77k sale @ 13.31 is worrying, and a lot of us who have maybe been invested for a while might find a sale like this difficult to understand, especially bearing in mind all the 'potentials' that are floating around at present for INFA.
My average buying price is low 60's and with the potential as i see it for INFA, then i'm here for a multi bagger (hopefully). What we need to remember though that only 6 months ago the share price was just under 20p. Some of the sellers here are on 100% profit, if they came in at those prices.
Now if the share price went to £1.25 (and i was UP 100%), would i be tempted to sell myself ? . . . . . I don't believe I'd sell up, but would i maybe reduce my holdings to crystalize some gains ? . . . . . It's a very possible maybe !
Hopefully this might be a case that the seller is someone in profit and wants to crystalize a gain, rather than a longer termer deciding the prospects aren’t as attractive as they’d like, and they've had enough.
If we knew the seller and knew their remaining holding (if any), it would be easier to know whether their sale was as negative as it first appears. Ie, if they still held several hundred thousand left I’d be less concerned.
I remember and old investment broker once saying to me in relation to buying and selling shares ‘you’ve never made or lost a penny until you sell them, it’s only a paper loss or gain until that point’.
Maybe the seller was wanting to actually make money with this theory.
(I just re read this post, and goodness I do waffle sometimes, lol. Hopefully some of it might make some sense)
RNS in the morning then. ;)
That was yesterday Dawski
Chrisatrdg, I would say folk have about 1 week to get in at this level, maybe less... The PR machine is starting to operate and it is not a coincidence, but more of timing it right to get momentum in place for an announcement. AIMHO
Good post dawski37 but they may have been able to stretch to an RNS following todays H&W update but either way its an improved news flow. With regards the ML I suspect that it has got totally bogged down but I hope we have an update this quarter with resolution. In the meanwhile I am saying 'Hold'.
Setanta1 In relation to your 15.41 post while the gas storage business has not progressed as Jabido has pointed out H&W is generating significant income. In fact I would not be surprised if the retained deficit on the balance sheet is not significantly reduced.
