Tango ,yes agree think we will see news fairly soon ,don't forget infra have already been interviewing for apprentiships /experienced tradesmen in APPLEDORE ,will probably get a recruitment day at H&W soon imho
feels like the amount of positive coverage has finally had an impact on SP, all shipyard related ? Oh for positive news on the Marine License.. that would be a rocket launcher .. come on INFA !!!
Amazing what prospects infra will have in shipbuilding
IMO- some contracts will be issued without tendering, like the £60m bab was offered to keep Appledore open.....
Good point Tango.
It's going to be interesting to see if any news is released before the conclusion of the review early next year.
Be nice to think JW is in the loop, but I guess we may have to wait until all tenders are in and the review is finished.
Hopefully we get news on other fronts in the meantime.
Next year will be a doozy. imo
Looking at the chart if we can break above the June resistance 43p (where we are at now) that should open the door to 56p+ next resistance.
with the large warships required there are only two yards that can build them and Belfast is one of them.
I don't need google my wife knows everything (so she thinks) LOL
I understand everyone has different financial positions, But to sell now makes me wander they bothered investing at all.
Or can use google. hoho :)
Birkenhead will be Cammell Laird
I have just founda copy of the statement on the No10 website what he said in relation to Belfast and Appledore is
'We shall use our extra defence spending to restore Britain’s position as the foremost naval power in Europe,
taking forward our plans for eight Type 26 and five Type 31 frigates,
and support ships to supply our carriers.
We are going to develop the next generation of warships,
including multi-role research vessels and Type 32 frigates.
And this will spur a renaissance of British shipbuilding across the UK
– in Glasgow and Rosyth, Belfast, Appledore and Birkenhead –
guaranteeing jobs and illuminating the benefits of the Union in the white light of the arc welder’s torch.
If there was one policy which strengthens the UK in every possible sense, it is building more ships for the Royal Navy.'
Does anyone know what the reference toBirkenhead relates to?
When investors are researching who will be the beneficiaries of this stimulus Infrastrata will be a clear winner.
exciting days ahead.
Hi Bubble. Thank you.
It feels good to be part of the regeneration of British industry. From tiny acorns!
Welcome back Forrest
Hi stokey. You don't know me but I've been in and out of INFA for about a year now. I got back onboard this morning based upon your recent finds/observations. Thanking you in advance if this now bears fruit. I've been doing my own research, but every little helps!
GLA
Indeed am holding mine long term in my isa ,possible divis here in the future .
I do not normally give trading advice but on this ocassion I think I can safely say that it would not be a good idea to sell any shares in INFA for at least the next 14 days. Personally I am holding on to them until my 65 birthday. I am not saying how old I am now.
Stokey yes agree shouldnt be too long before we here news imho
The fact that the PM specifically mentioned both Belfast and Appledore is a strong hint that both yards will get some work. When you add to this what JW said last week at the roadshow about Appledore doing ship builds first it may be that when the details of how these additional funds will be spent Appledore might get a mention. More news to come as we have not had the details yet.
Building loads of mod ships he stated ,this has to be brilliant news for H&W and APPLEDORE YARDS!!
