Good find gmharg. I think we'll see newsflow from Appledore as soon as the refurbished dock gates are operational again. JW did mention January contracts previously, didn't he?
gmharg Thanks for your 15.41 post and the link. One thing I took from it was this 'At present, we’re looking into a couple of major conversion projects that convert vessels from one type into another.' I hope this can be converted into firm orders. JW will very soon need to convert the sound music into orders that generate revenues.
Great read thank you - I have just retweeted the article.
Edit: I continue to show 'Strong Buy' ML or no ML !!!!
Next week could be interesting.......

Agree Loosegoose, Main focus should be on the forward statement of this report.
There will be some revenue, but mot much. Not many ships were through the docks by 31 July last year. We shouldn't be too disappointed with weak financial statements as most of the good stuff has happened since the Balance Sheet date. Breakeven was only achieved on the dry docks / cruise segment in September. Will be interesting to see how this is reflected in the report - business was very slow up to Balance Sheet date and then accelerated markedly after. So much has happened post Balance Sheet and this is what we should focus on.
I also hope Appledore is housing more than Barnacles.
whatamess In relation to your 12.15 post while we should see some revenue in the accounts Ithink that the accounts for the year to 31 July of this year would be even better.
Tango1 In relation to your 10.16 post I see we have a consensus ad idem without creating a contract.
Would rather have a big Contract RNS. At least we would see the results of the cash call's have worked.
With the general meeting tomorrow to approve the resolutions for the placing I wonder will we see a 7am RNS to underscore the purpose of the fundraising. I note that in six months £16m has been raised in placings and the sharenprice has not cratered that seems to indicate confidence in the share.
Wow, great find Loosegoose!
Seem to have more substance than many gave them credit for when the LOI was announced. I remember a few posts and tweets about lack of substance, newly incorporated in the UK etc.. Just saw this link from the Founder & Chairman of KBI UAE Oil & energy. For me this is a positive signal that the LOI may well be converted to a contract in the coming months. BTW first steel is to be cut in the next month on the Triumph build in Brodosplit Croatia. Seems the do have the financial backers that many were doubting. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/khamis-juma-buamim-68373957_explore-investmentservices-economies-activity-6754396494721232896-JQpq
Just had the reply to my email from Mr Poots office. " The issued raised will be considered and a response issued in due course " signed Steve Letman. So at least it got there.
And I’m not talking about my 4421 top up
Personally I would get these built first, then residents will know what to expect.
Nobby31 In relation to your 11.37 post my view would be that if INFA wants tobuild any further caverns at Islandmagee then they should use a Private Act of Parliament to obtain permission. Going down this route would bypass DAERA. I am not sure how much time would be saved but considerng how long this application has taken it should certainly be considered.
The consultation will soon be complete. Some respected forward thinking about the wider energy markets during 2021 and beyond. Section 5 is of particular interest.https://timera-energy.com/5-energy-surprises-for-2021/Once the licences are in place there ought to be significant investment interest in Infrastrata plc from private equity, distribution and trading companies et alGiven there is space to (ultimately) create over 20 caverns at IslandMagee, with the right mindset, the idea I have is to create a (subterranean) cavern park (no not a caravan park) for methane, hydrogen, CH4/H2 blends, air and carbon dioxide. The site is can easily be connected/integrated into the surrounding electrical and gas infrastructure providing a nirvana of optionality for energy traders!
With INFA's £1 million to support the local community when the project gets the go-ahead, perhaps it's time for some protestors to swap sides?

TTNY. Thanks for the kick up my back side and here's my ten cents........sent to Daera and Mr Poots. I've posted here to provide further incentive to those not yet replied to Daera and the man who'll have a final say on the ML. Write something right now and please don't copy mine!
Dear Sir/Madam.
I'm writing to formally show my support for the Islandmagee Gas Storage project. It is my firm belief that this project would provide many benefits for the local community of Islandmagee, Northern Ireland and the UK.
Those benefits are as follows:
1) The project will provide storage capacity for natural gas, as a transitional fuel towards the UK 2050 carbon neutral target.
2) The project will also enhance energy security for both N.Ireland, where at present there is no such facility/security, and the UK as a whole.
3) The project will also be capable, in the future as technology develops, of storing hydrogen gas as an essential zero emissions fuel of the future.
4) The project will utilise the natural formations of rock salt deep below Islandmagee to provide a safe, secure storage facility that is not unsightly like those used for above ground/LNG storage. This will help the project blend in with the natural rural location.
5) The project will boost local employment opportunities for both the construction and operation phases, consequently improving the wellbeing of the local economy. It is my understanding the company (Infrastrata) has promised a £1 million fund to support the local community and projects.
6) It is my understanding that Infrastrata, the parent company of the project, intends to use their Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast to expedite construction of infrastructure needed by the project. Thereby further boosting employment in the larger local community and benefiting the N.Irish economy as a whole.
7) Now that the UK has exited the EU, and with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic affecting both people and the economy, a project such as this will provide an essential moral and economic boost both immediately and for the long term future of both N.Ireland and the UK.
