Tango1 In relation to your 07.34 post the CEO seems to be putting all the pieces in place to start winning business so I would hope for news before the next roadshow.
The burning question is how the market will react, Personally I am very pleased but contracts must be signed in the coming Days/weeks, furlough will stop soon so it will be another 29 salaries.
Jds13 In relation to your 07.14 post the latest acquisition is of a fabrication business not shipyards. Although I believe one of the sites can be used for ship repairs.
Acquisition of assets of Burntisland Fabrication Limited (Bifab)
InfraStrata plc (AIM: INFA), the UK quoted company focused on strategic infrastructure projects and physical asset lifecycle management, announces that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Burntisland Fabrication Limited (the "Acquisition"), providing the Company with increased capacity across two sites in prime locations in Scotland. The consideration paid for the assets is £650,000 in cash with a further deferred consideration of up to £200,000 in cash, subject to achievement of future revenues targets. These facilities will trade under the Harland & Wolff brand and represent the final fabrication piece of its UK footprint, positioning the Company to fully deliver on its existing strategy quicker than it would have done with only its two existing sites: Harland & Wolff (Belfast) and Harland & Wolff (Appledore).
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/INFA/acquisition-of-assets/14862658
I note that the deferred consideration is payable on gross group turnover of £75m within the next 24 months I would not bet against that happening well within that time period. I would observe that INFA has assets in England, Northern Ireland and with this new deal Scotland but as yet not Wales so far as we know.
For JW to state they were going to run out of fabrication space he must have contracts pending!
New RNS out!
4 shipyards now!!
Continuing to show their ambition with hugely strategic and value for money purchase today.
Nice
I started buying in January after the placing. I am not really focused on the ML. My rationale was the two shipyards.
ThisTimeNextYear - great post & the current work on Stena Edda & future Stena work is good news for H&W which will help the cash flow.We just want a new type of work to broaden H&W work base. I am still staying Strong Buy & the current SP is now 'as cheap as chips'.
They had a big team there before. I will get back to you.
I do, but not seen him or been that way since way before lockdown. Not heard anything either, but then I do live in a forest in total isolation like some sort of hermit, lol, so not likely to either. Until things change, that is.
But not going mad at all are we. No Si. We're just fine. Good. :)
Si_Derman If I recall do you have a friend/contact near Appledore if so have you heard anything?
ThisTimeNextYeer In relation to your 16.01 post thanks for this I know BlairPeach was concerned about cashflow so this news will no doubt reassure him that there is the cashflow to meet day to day needs. It would also mean that the cash raise that whatamess is expecting may not be as imminent as he thought.
Cheers Lottie. Your dealing knowledge and experience is very much appreciated here. Thanks for continuing to share this on the page.
Can sell over 80k of shares for 38.575
Strange going’s on
Likewise Realturbo, not selling
Its called a choice price. Indicates to me one market maker has a decent seller. So the normal price is called The Touch. When buy and sell the same, Choice. Can get backwadations which is lower offer from one market maker and higher bid from another.
Have tried several times, I'm able to buy or sell at exactly the same price, never seen this before.
NB. No way I'm selling!
"Whatamess , why do you think a placing is imminent..."
Maybe it helps him justify selling half of his holdings. lol.
Obviously not that certain or he would the other half, hey? ;)
As Stena Edda is due to leave to leave dry dock in the next day or so I see that according to NI Ferry that Superfast VII and Superfast VIII are due to dry dock for essential maintenance. This is good news for continuity of work in the yard.
They also highlight that Stena Edda was in dry dock for much longer than anticipated. That also makes good reading as days in dock = more work completed and a bigger invoice.

12 months on completion Tango, we have a while yet, anyway was that not taken care off with last cash draw?
Tango1 In relation to your 15.38 post the second tranche of payments for Appledore will not be until the anniversary of the acquisition in August.
Depends when the Appledore payments are due, I have April in my head but can't be sure.
It seems strange that the SP fall was preceeded by two negative articles in share tip sheets. It feels very much like a bear raid. Hold firm and carry on.
