More Gresham house sells or another II? Would love to know how many shares Gresham have left to sell and wish they'd get on with it so we can move on (maybe they are?!)
Strange time to sell the amounts that are going through...
It is a bit of a surprise that only Scotland is mentioned... just have to wait until 2mo. It wouldn't be infa if we weren't kept on tenterhooks! Just keep in mind Johnson's visit, "watch this space" regarding Belfast plus many mentions during lords debates and committee meetings...roll on 2mo!
Speedy_Gonzalez In relation to your 03.25 post I saw the same story on the BBC website. Contrary to what the guardian says in the article the review is being published tomorrow it is Defence Questions today. I would not be surprised if we get more leaks today.
no mentions to H&W Belfast or Appledore unless we are now in the sattelite or lithium mining business! Early days yet, so still hoping our pie-plate will fill up soon.

Bubble, if only the wind were to blow consistently all of the time, sadly that is not the case. Thus the need for gas storage and looking not too far into the future probably hydrogen.
Is the DK debt all gone now or is there still borrowings against the site? Difficult to raise more money if there is a charge still sitting there.
I think INFA will certainly land significant new business within the next 3-6 months which will be a game changer.
There is so much work around across so many sectors that it’s hard to imagine they won’t!
Unfortunately us AIM investors are an impatient lot and we’d quite rightly like to see the company turned into a mighty industrial concern as soon as possible.
Once the market sees the early contracts come in then things will start to become exciting and it won’t be long imho
In November amongst the things that Boris Johnson said that were to built was research vessels. No further details were provided so there is no indication as to how many or what type of research vessels are to be built. Cammel Laird built the Resarch Ship the Sir David Attenborough. However they completed it late. INFA has recently dome a refit on the Celtic Explorer and as far as I recall the refit was completed on time. So when the contracts for the research ships go out I would think that INFA will be in a good position to win the tender.
Chris, yes agree we will know soon
Just brilliant dawski37 I think it is the best summary of where we are ever posted & something JW could learn from.I take the simple approach & work on the basis that if it were a 'No' with regards the ML we would have known by now.Taking longer suggests that they are joining the dots for final approval. We will soon know.
Www offshore-energy.biz ..typo apolsTango
Www. offshoreenergy.biz..Tango worth a read
...Three years ago we were just that ...and then along comes JW and Team aided by AR and JT ( over on the Island itself) .
JW is a real risk taker with ambition for Infa not just as a disruptor in the sector but as a major player in the fields highlighted on the H&W Webbysite.
Thanks to the efforts and foresight of JW & Co we are now a potential 7 horse thoroughbred ( if one includes Barrow) and if ML happens and we able to reduce the Capex and perhaps take equity out of I M then that could be a further capital base for funding the various enterprises in hand.
We will for sure need lots of capital going forward .ML actually is a crucial and significant factor in the next fortnight assuming that the equity/debt providers are standing ready ( which I assume to be the case ?) Hold on very tight folks.Land is in sight but there is a rocky shoreline before the harbour entrance !!
.....still exist and even more so than in the last 5 years or so.
The original raison d'etre was security and adequacy of Gas supply to N.I. in an economy increasingly dependent following the demise of oil etc.
Now with the project being deemed suitable for hydrogen storage and the inexorable rise of Wind Power availability adding to the process of creating hydrogen for domestic and transport uses, then Hydrogen storage just adds to its importance .This is well documented hand hopefully will in the next 14 days to a positive outcome for the ML decision ?
In the hope that we do have a positive recommendation to the Government accordingly, then any recommendation probably be dealt with by committee not by the Minister himself, bearing in mind the recent absence of Mr Poots due to illness..He has returned ....indeed a lot on his plate to handle alone in his circumstances ..we need to hold on tight for the next 28 days or so !!
To ask for an interim injunction, they need grounds! The money on a QC is well spent AIMHO.
dawski37 In relation to your 11.20 post I note that the local opposition have had the time to raise funds for any potential JR. In a case like this they are unlikely to ask for expedition so they could ask for an interim injunction to stop the license being processed and then wait for the proceedings to take its time. The main problem then with the delays which could take time especially if we have appeals.
It is timely of Stokey to bring up the old corker of a possible JR.This has been a troublesome worry before at several times !
Anyhow whilst it remains troublesome it is only a possibility NOT a probability.
A JR is a type of court proceeding in which a judge reviews the LAWFULNESS of a decision made by a public body,in this case being Daera.
A JR is a challenge to the way in which a decision has been arrived at rather than the pros and cons or rights and wrongs of the conclusion so reached.
The Judge is not bothered about the legitimacy of the conclusion by the Public Body as long as the right procedures have been followed.
The Judge will not substitute what it may happen to consider is the "correct"decision.
The bringing of a JR IS expensive for the claimant and more so now in Covid due to procedural delays . The appellant has the right to seek an injunction to stop any application in its tracks.
There may well have been errors in the past by Infa such as allegedly the inadequate notifications etc but the ML application is now over two years in the making and we have employed top line lawyers to ensure compliance.
One cannot rule out a JR but the costs are highly significant for both sides ,even more so for the complainant !!
Bubble2021- Not sure Infra own anything in Barrow YET- just an LOI for the last 18 months, But stand to be corrected.
Hi pacman27, yes there are a few things that when put together give a much higher level of confidence now compared to when the LOI was first announced. Having been through all the videos on the website and LinkedIn, I think the platform for the vessels (FDVs and WDVs) is the same. Capex will be higher and then Opex will be much lower with unmatched green credentials. Given the lower Opex and unmatched green credentials it would seem that the demand will be high and we will potentially be in from the beginning. It is interesting to look at big companies fleets and compare them to their sustainability promises - if the fleet can’t get converted to “green” then they need to invest or they miss their sustainability pledges. We could be at an inflection point.
Morning Loosegoose, I’m hoping UK government’s incentives, may be attractive to Triumph Marine, this is a cut and paste job from there own website.
“In line with the UK Government's target of having at least 40GW of installed wind capacity, once constructed, the WDVs will also fulfil project developers' obligations to incorporate as much local content as possible within their projects in order to be eligible for and monetise the various Government-led incentives; particularly in the wind farm and marine sectors. The WDVs are expected to be fabricated with local content from a UK supply chain and will be principally utilised for projects in all nations within the United Kingdom”
Thousands of wind turbines less than a mile away
There's no bust ,work out how much the ship building contracts will be worth ,I don't think that's a bust scenario imho ,maybe the huge dockside infra own in Barrow is for other reasons let's see
Loosegoose In relation to your 09.24 post I note that the LOI with INFA is for a Windfarm Development Vessel and the article refers to a Field Development Vessel so I am not sure if they relate to the same thing.
Seems progress is being made towards the first build in Brodosplit with Kongsberg being selected as a key supplier to Triumph. The article clearly says there will be 3 more ships after this first one in Brodosplit. https://bisouv.com/uncategorized/3124570/kongsberg-to-deliver-state-of-the-art-solutions-for-next-generation-field-development-vessel/
