Loosegoose In relation to your 17.05 all the press reports put the figure at 290 I think that includes sub contractors. If there are anymore large fabrication contracts then they may need some more perhaps at some of the other sites.
How many staff will be needed for the Saipem contract? Must be quite a few. Only 2 months and a few days until that contract starts.
Just seen this on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6792821600623456256/ Advert for new HR Officer.
ThisTimeNextYeer In relation to your 13.07 post I found it a very illuminating and informative listen.
Dom Littlewood's recent episode of Dom Digs In is on Ferries and is filmed in Belfast Harbour. There's some footage of H & W, inc down in the dry dock with Stena Superfast 8. This footage of H & W is around the 30 minute point.
It's on BBC iPlayer for anyone interested in seeing a bit of the shipyard.

In relation to my 11.48 I have found the entry it will arrive in SRQ on Friday afternoon for the Bank Holiday Weekend.
According to the Belfast Harbour website the Seatruck Panorama will on 4 May at 9am shift from SRQ to VT1. I cannot find a reference to when it will berth at SRQ but it does not look like it will be there for long.
B*gger- fair point, well made..!! It's even still on the same page..!
Three posts below. Same heading. Full transcript.
Keep up lad. :)
Morning All,
Extract from the Ministers response to a question on Islandmagee earlier this month...
I am in a situation in which there is huge potential for whatever decision I make to be judicially reviewed by either the applicant or the residents. Therefore, I have to be very careful about what I say, and, before arriving at a decision, I have to give this my absolute careful consideration
I missed this at the time and can't recall whether it was posted on here, so apologies in advance if this is duplication. But does suggest a decision isn't imminent, and there remains a high risk of a JR and/ or Public Inquiry. This makes other work streams hugely important over the rest of this year and at this point for me, the ML is a bonus rather than expectation, especially this year at least.
Hopefully we'll see news of a Carnival incoming very soon!
Cheers

Ban,very good poster ,very informative imho
You also have potential for this to materialise folks -
From 10th Dec RNS re LOI for Windfarm Development vessels
"Once contracted, each vessel would be expected to generate revenues for Harland & Wolff of between £340 million and £360 million over the 24-30 month period of fabrication, followed by additional revenues if further through-life support contracts are secured. Whilst both parties intend on executing a contract to build the vessels by the end of June 2021, it should be noted that this LoI currently does not provide for any binding obligations on either party at this point"
Tango always seems to know when an RNS is about to land...
Are they not cruising around British isles this year calling at ports like Belfast?
Carnival cruise ships at approx 300m (and some a bit more) wouldn't be coming to Appledore. H & W Belfast is the only yard Infa have capable of taking those big articles.
Obviously I wouldn't expect you say who the little bird was Tango, but how knowledgeable and credible would you rate the little bird on the information supplied, and did they give you any expected timescale ?
Would be interesting see a Carnival at Appledore...!!
But, if we see this in Belfast, then it'll be a huge coup for H&W, and certainly raise some eyebrows. Could be a nice customer relationship to build too.
Watching patiently now...!!
Would think a Carnival a bit big for Appledore
Not booked in but I am told on the cards..
Tango1 In relation to your 15.23 post I am not seeing anything on Belfast Harbour website. Is it definitely going into Belfast and not Appledore.
Tells me there is a Carnival in town !!!...
Doubled up today. This price will be a good entry price in 6 months view.

That's a dead end job ,not like here imho
"I have never known a company with so much potential with such frustrating delays" Try investing in BMN, that'll clear that issue right up.
Totally agree. Each of the subsequent tranches are fixed cash amounts so the prevailing SP will influence directly the number of new shares issued.
With every day that goes past with no new dockings or contract wins, I expect a slightly downward pressure as the spectre of dwindling cash reserves raises the need for another issue. I have never known a company with so much potential with such frustrating delays. I still think the tide will turn but for now, we must reconcile the fact that governments are not concerned with time frames and covid is still a drag.
Lottie123 In relation to your 07.28 post we need share price moving news between now and August so that the number of shares that need to be will be reduced.
